Afterall Maneskin's victory is also partly UK. They recognized that traveling into London inspired them musically. Damiano also has an English accent, he not sounds american

I suggest you react also to For your love and to Coraline (for this one, please pay attentions to the lyrics - there's no video, but a version with the English text - because in this case the meaning is essential to the music)
guys, you still don't understand. You only enjoy the sound but not the message. Listen to the Maneskin songs by reading the lyrics, they have combined poetry, philosophy and music. You only enjoyed 50% of this song.

translation is especially important in "Coraline". While in "Back home" it is important to take the official video
you are often without words, and this says more ... damiano can sing and rap very fast or he can sing slowly with a rough and graceful voice. here we have a lot of excellent singers who do everything they want with their vocals, see mengoni, but also andrea faustini who participated in x factor uk, but we have a lot of them, we are not very surprised by this. moreover, if you don't want to be amazed all the time, you have to develop an Italian music culture :)

Hello, I recommend CORALINE with English subtitles even if they are not perfectly accurate. CORALINE is poetry so needs to be listened and understood, the lyrics and their meanings, along with the music, create a masterpiece

You’ll think this is good without understanding the lyrics but you’ll definitely appreciate it a lot more if you check them out.
This song is not as creative as their other songs, but it lets Damiano display his singing technique - and he has a GREAT singing technique. He is a natural, but he also worked very hard with vocal coaches to develop and refine his technique.

I'm Italian and I think Brit Pop React is absolutely right; what is translation for? it's just rock, you listen to music played; it is not an Italian singer-songwriter and therefore the text cannot be ignored;

There is much more then that; there were stories embedded in the greatest rock songs of all time. How listen to starway to heaven without understanding the words.... Don‘t let me do this comparison, wouldn‘t be fair. Fact is, I‘ve seen reactions of one of the best songs of Maneskin (Coraline) with and without translation; allmost all people of the translated ones cried or were upset. Now if you would react without translation you would never understand the changing of the musical structure of the whole song that arises from the story. You‘re Italian? So listen to what the guys are saying in their songs; maybe your brain is able to intercept much more then a few fucking notes.
@@coluccia Lyrics are not a prerequisite for listening to rock music; I listened to masterful rock songs based on groans and syllables without any deep meaning or sublime "la la la la" only choruses; a song will never be a poem in the rock music, you can only get close;
because it is the word that is subordinate to the music and never vice versa in rock music
I found how to spend the evening: I am going to explain that in "Twenty years" the text is not fundamental while it is in Coraline. The only Maneskin song where the lyrics are really crucial is Coraline.
In my opinion, Maneskin draws 80% from english (Uk) music, 10% from Red Hot Chili Peppers and another 10% is their originality. Let's not propagate them like those who (re)invented rock.
Furthermore: they are very very very good, but they probably still have to grow musically to reach the level of the great world bands. We must try not to lose the sense of proportion.

Translation is superfluous I think, to enjoy music... I mean, first time I listen "Like a rolling stone" or "Mister Tambourine" I can't understand the lyrics, I was 12 yesrs old and youtube were not invented yet😕(I'm not so old, that was just in 1992😂) ... So, no lyrics until my high school english lessons... And I enjoyed those songs very very much! Later, when I knew the lyrics, my level of enjoy was not bigger than first time.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying Maneskin are Bob Dylan... 😅
