Finally the whole world can fall in love with our Måneskin. Måneskin Rulez👑🤟 Please listen “Le Parole lontane”, “La paura del buio” too. I warn you, any of their songs are addictive and you’ll say "how is it possible that they’re all so beautiful ??!" They write all their songs. Do we realize it?? Damiano sings and writes the lyrics and he’s only 22 years old. Ethan, Victoria and Thomas write music and they’re 20-21 years old. They were born to be rockstars🤟🤟👑
This is a great number. I'm sure you noticed their songs never stay in one place. This one is no exception. It starts with a catchy riff, which is never to come back later in the song. Then we have the verse, with syncopated rhythms, followed by a great powerful chorus, then a second verse that uses the same chords as the first verse but with a different melody. Then after a chorus repeat, the bridge section (which is actually more of a C section than a middle eight) starts with a yet different buitar-bass ostinato riff, that leads to a drum break, almost in an old jazz big band fashion, then we have the sung part of the bridge, also consisting in an obsessive repetition of a phrase. After the bridge we re-enter the chorus but this time as an instrumental guitar solo chorus. Then finally the closing section which is a short reprise of the sang chorus ending quite originally on the bass playing a closing line.
@Orio Menoni Hello again, we have just replied to your other comment and now we have this one. OK, you are going to have to come clean, what is your background here as you have broken this song down to levels beyond our limited knowledge, by the way we are not experts in anything here, we are just 2 guys who like music and when we hear something we like, we just like it. But we can see you have more knowledge than that. so who are you and what do you do and we like the way you explained all parts of this song as it makes it so very easy to understand. Thanks for the great comment and feel free to do the same anytime, we enjoy learning and that was excellent. Thank you for sharing. Ciao for now.
Mate you should open up a channel explaining Maneskin’s songs they way you do here, with some practical demonstrations. Great analysis of an even greater song
@@BritPopsReact Hi, I'm just an amateur musician. Thank you for talking about Makeskin, these guys are the only promising new band coming out of an appalling (if not dead) rock scene in Italy
@An _S Thank you for the comment. This is quite an old video, we have a Playlist for "Maneskin" and have about 10 or move reactions for them. We do enjoy this young band. Thanks for watching,
I've been so loving all your Maneskin reactions! I definitely second anyone suggesting La Paura del Buio next, but pleaaase make it the live version from Radio Italia Live with the english subtitles (it's on youtube when you search the song!). It really demonstrates how talented and what an insane live vocalist Damiano is.
Remember their Situation: You are an unknown band, with a great public reaction in a big talent show and you get a disk contract by one of the worldwide major labels. An influential producer, Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, who is also the musical director of X-Factor Italy, offers you to produce your disks. Surely you will do a lot of that, what your producer/label and the label marketing guys want. 1st disk: It came out of the X-Factor time, they played two own songs and than their X-Factor covers (there might be some more covers). The next disc "Il ballo della vita" contains a wild mix of different styles rock, reggae like, rap. It seems they or i think more the management/producer wants to test what style functions in the market. The disk was an incredible success in Italy with 3 weeks No. 1 in charts and 5 singles out of it reaching top 10. With this as a background, you can do more of that sort of music you do want. - Plain Rock. They said thier concept was at disk, where erverything was recorded at once, as a band which plays together. No recording of the instruments in separate tracks, and than a mixing of the tracks in the production step. This might explain the missing backing vocals and some other sort of things.
They are like fresh air and tonic water after a too long desert touring, finally in the breeze of a starry Night. We got Back the Holy Grail from the best times. .. looking ahead. ..
"This is taking me back in time to a period....before bands went stupid and started creating fluffy stuff" ha ha ha. Well said, concise and hilarious. I could not agree more.
It's nice to see two British guys reacting so emotionally to an Italian rock band. I'm happy to hear Mōneskin could somehow fill the gap in the UK too, exactly like they did a couple of years ago here in Italy🤟🎸 Ciao belli!

Love your reactions. Just one little thing to tell you: "respect" the little "bouncing" girl because she is the very core of the band: she and the guitarist started the group (and u can tell it by the care they put in the guitar and bass lines), she suggested the name of the band (she is half Danish and Måneskin, pronounced moh-nèh-skin, in danish means moonlight). The two of them chose the singer and then the drummer. She has a strong personality and she is the real leader of the band as you can see when they are interviewed.
In Italy there are many interesting musical realities but unfortunately abroad we only export music that makes us ashamed. There are historical rock bands such as Litfiba, CSI, Linea 77, Dub Trip hop Funk Reggae groups such as Almamegretta, Casino Royale, Africa United, Subsonica groups that if they had the same media power would have the same international success.
