Roadied for a metal band doing a festival and these boys were on the line up...Rob was a total champion and treated us tech guys better than he treated the 'celebs' playing in other bands, truly appreciative guy and super genuine.

I saw Machinehead live several times, the first time was back at The Electric Factory, September 97' in Philly, opening for PANTERA. The throwdown in the pit when this song is being played is unbelievable. I saw them again years in August 2004 (again in Philly) at The Trocadero. It was the 10th Anniversary of the 'Burn My Eyes' album, so they played the entire album in order. For those of you who know, this is the FIRST TRACK on the album! I don't ever remember being so spent in a pit after the very first song of the night. I'm glad always to see reactions to this song, it's been a favorite of mine since high school back in the mid-late 90's. An awesome time for music in the genre.
1994 was a great year for music as I remember. this was a fantastic album. Very choppy!!
This was from their debut album, from which the other songs are also sick in case you're wondering. The solo sounds a little better in the studio version. Another choppy one from them is Aesthetics of Hate if you wanna keep reacting.
Ahh Machinehead! Got introduced to their music on a metal festival in the Netherlands in 1995 and I've been a fan ever since ❤🤘

Slipknot - Sic, People =Shit, Left Behind, The Devil in I. So many more.
Those will get you endless choppy drops if you go down that path, then you move into Rap/Metal with Korn and Limp BIzkit.
After Tool I think Metallica is a great musical journey, long songs that are genuine masterpieces .

Don't waste your time on anything after the blackening.... The blackening however, it's in my top 5 listened to albums. Suggestions for reacting would be Aesthetics of Hate or Halo
