You guys need to show us more VF and VE cars. Chevy SS, Pontiac G8 and Chevy Caprice PPV... Epic 4,000lb cars. I had no clue the SS was in the mid 7s

Alex runs New Era Performance and does dyno tuning. Had him tune my car. The guy does AMAZING work and is as nice in person as he is in this video. He knows his business!
I wouldn't mind betting that somebody in a VE/VF HOLDEN COMMODORE is faster than that here in Australia.

There was a VF Maloo ute that ran 7.59@196 on an LS. Not sure if they ever went faster on that. It’s now in the 6s but it now has a promod hemi engine.
I haven’t seen any VE/VF sedans doing those numbers. Seems like most of the faster guys prefer older, lighter models.
Same chassis been 7.0@209 in Aus.

People concrete fill the block remove all cooling no alternator tube chassis with a fiberglass top full lexan glass everywhere ladder bar back halfed rear etc. This car still has factory firewall door panels etc alot of people shave those down to.

great video man. ive been looking at this car ever since it came out. my current prediciment is getting one of these, or looking at a new 2023 WRX. finding an SS near 45k, while the WRX is 35kish and i can take that extra 10k into upgrade parts. choices choices...

Theres so many cars to choose from don't get so locked to what other people have you can buy a ss right now..I highly highly doubt dealers are gonna inflate the prices because of this video
