please upgrade your rocker arm trunnion kit to the che kit that removes the needle bearings entirely. if u get those needle bearings in your oil pan your gonna be in the saaaaame boat as me. (the che kit costs under 300 bux last i looked and will save you from the giga bill of having to replace everything.)

So that Solo J-pipe in the rear, or "some bent dick thing on the side of it" as you so eloquently put it, is noise canceling technology that not only completely cancels out drone, but is also fully adjustable, so that if the drone frequency is changed by exhaust , tune or other power adders, the j-pipes can be slid in or out to cancel the drone. I would invite you to drive the SS around straight piped, particularly at around 1200-1400 RPM, and then do the same with the Solo system. Not the same, not even close to the same. I've done both, on an SS, and while one rattles your fillings out, the other sounds good around town, and full on stupid under full throttle, just the way God intended. 👍

I have almost the same set up on my 2015 SS, its an Auto, i think this one was also, or you shift like a champ. It runs great, but one thing i found, it stalls until it warms up (when i put it in gear), it does good when warmed up until i am coming to a stop, then it will stall on me (sometime, not all the time). it shifts great, just stalls sometime when coming to a stop. is that normal? I had it tuned after the cam went in, or do i need a different torque converter. I wish i could have came to you guys, but I am way to far away.

So about RPM. These guys are the goats pretty much when it comes to getting your car fixed. I contacted them via email about my car. They gave me all true prices. mainly bc my car is at a shop here, and the prices they gave me match up to what im being told by the shop here. I have the same car in this video. Now for the sad part. Depends what you wanna do really...if it's your daily driver and you might use it for towing and hauling ocassionally, then a cam with more low to mid range would be most beneficial while still gaining a decent top end.

was the increase in the performance worth the price in your opinion? and are you going to do more upgrades?
Yes I would definitely do it again and yes I will be doing more mods in the future. This will hold me over for awhile though.

I had a 09 vette manual cam only 630 ish something lift 230ish duration and it put down 475 @RPM in NC. Probably the difference in transmissions.

The car was built by Holden GM in Elizabeth South Australia. The factory closed in 2017, and took the Holden Commodore and the Chevy SS with it.

The "bent dick" coming off the exhaust is a tunable resonator. They look funky but they do work decently.
Not bad at all on pump gas, I’m assuming E-85 would only bump it up about 15-20hp.

No. It already had an OTR CAI and Solo cat back. Stock auto SS generally runs from mid 350's to around 370 at the wheels.
My coworker claims his 2012 N/A Comaro makes over 600hp to the wheels... It's tuned with a cam and exhaust... still hard to believe IMO.
