    Great vid,quick question how small does it fold up to when empty an. What do you store in in,and if you don’t use it for a while does it get smelly from any water left in it from your last use.

    Hi. Thanks for the video. Is it difficult to put the Anderson plug on? Do you need some sort of crimping tool?

    • @Thehangertribe
      @Thehangertribe  15 днів тому

      Hey, just seeing if you’re talking about the pump?

    • @rodhulme127
      @rodhulme127 15 днів тому +1

      @ Yeah, yeah, that’s right. The pump. I think you said in the vid that you put an Anderson plug on it to hookup to your car or van. I have Anderson plug outlets on my car and van, so it seems like a good idea. While I’m here, do you find it easier sometimes to fill the bladder rather than parking up with the van at a water point?

    • @Thehangertribe
      @Thehangertribe  14 днів тому +1

      Hey yeah so how I install the Anderson is I heat the metal fittings with a small gas torch and fill with solder then place the stripped wire in then they cool. No need for crimping. As for the water bladder it really depends on what we are doing if we are going to a new spot and have the caravan on we just fill the van but if we are staying off grid and don’t need to move the van we use the bladder then top up the caravan. The bladder is also handy if there is a tap that can’t be accessed with the caravan on so it’s extremely handy for many different reasons. It’s a must have I think if you’re doing the big lap!! Thanks for the questions and thanks for watching! 🤙🏻🤙🏻

    Great video, we’ve the same waterpark bladder, we’ve been using it for the past 8 years, although I have an irrigation valve to release the air as we fill and empty it. The water tap at Broome is a fair pain to fill the water tanks, it looks like your at Quondong?

    • @Thehangertribe
      @Thehangertribe  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi thanks for watching! Yeah super happy with our bladder gets a hammering from the kids walking all over it haha. Yeah has to be the slowest tap in WA! Yeah good spotting it was an awesome spot 🤙🏻

    Hi Guys. Thanks for the video. Just wondering if you use this for potable drinking water? And if so does it have a plastic taste? I've seen reviews of the Drifta bladders with bad plastic taste? Thanks very much

    • @Thehangertribe
      @Thehangertribe  28 днів тому

      Hey! We have washed ours out a good couple of times to begin with and have used it heaps while travelling and there is definitely a different taste it is getting better but we filter it into our tank and then our drinking water is filtered to and find we can’t taste it in our drinking water.
      Thanks for watching! Merry Christmas 🎄

    So this is how you steal water?

    • @Thehangertribe
      @Thehangertribe  3 місяці тому +2

      Water fill stations and info centres have water points for travellers and so you know that the water is drinkable. So not really stealing.
