The more I watch bowling videos and clips (and practice in real life) the more I understand the finer physics of the sport. Watching you in slow motion really informs me how I need to be adjusting as well.
Whoever filmed this gets a gold star. That I can see the whole approach, the whole release, and the ball motion from MULTIPLE angles is amazing. I’m a newer bowler, and ignoring everything but Andrew’s form is more valuable than the content! I have watched this in slo mo a bunch of times already. For me , Andrew is the best example of timing to follow that i have found because of the “out, down, back, throw” thing he does so well. I am also tall and have a naturally high back swing , and following this example is the easiest way I have found to have reasonable timing. In fact, if you JUST made a video of this amazing quality about timing and balance for newer bowlers, I bet it would priceless to people like me !
That was actually a interesting concept, that i haven't heard anyone talk about. Playing within your strength, at the given time. Sometimes im high rev, steep angles, and sometimes im more comfortable throwing high speed up the right... It all depends on the pattern, but i get the means of rolling the ball more or reving.
Thanks Andrew! Mr. MVP 😊 🏆 i Even after 42 years of bowling in leagues / tournaments, I continue to work on my game, posture, swing, hand position, footwork... etc. Your videos are helping a lot to educate the masses on proper bowling. Keep it up!!! ❤ 🎳
I know a big thing you were trying to tell me in my lesson with you was I close my shoulder too early, watching the shots from behind you make it super easy to see how early I actually am with it
Thanks for sharing why, when and how you change your release. I'm relatively new (started bowling six months ago) and I'm still practising getting my wrist movement on release consistent (only started getting the cupped to uncapped position on release in the last week or so), so for now I'm gonna stick to keeping my hand behind the the ball. But I hope to be able to start working on changing the release for specific situations in time to come.
Hi , I have followed you every videos you posted I like it very much!!! But can you answer my questions Please! I’m struggling bowling for 46ft pattern (USBC) Please help me out to bowl better 😂 where to stande where to throw Thqnksy
My question would be how to you get to those different releases. I change my release by placing the weight of the ball on different fingers. Like if im playing them straigher and not getting around it the weight is mostly on my ring finger, regular release most weight on middle finger, and if im trying to rotate it im keeping most of the weight on my index finger. Is this normal?
Curious about something, not just you specifically but are Bowlers incentivized by the companies that sponsor them to use current ball lineups? You are a motiv guy but I never see you throw the Jackal ghost as an example which is one of their greatest balls in the lineup, is there a reason for this?

I love how you break down bowling concepts and techniques. The explanations are straightforward and they make sense. Awesome content.

Definitely great info for every level.
Good stuff. Changing axis rotation to create the shapes in order to play certain angles is advanced practice. Thanks Andrew!

Exactly the kind of video I need, showing the thought process needed for consistency in competition. Thanks!
Great Video!! I've been in the game over 50 years and still trying to learn and get better.
Ah just before my league night LG! 🙌🏾

When you say throw it slower, how much slower do you mean?
Do anyone know like how to control your aim when release? Always goes to the gutter or too close to the left since trying to aim for 3-5 board
hi Andrew I'm 53 and I'm haven problems with getting it up the back and my speed has dropped can you help
Just curious, when did you start untucking your pinky finger?
