"I owe my success to having listened respectfully to the very best advice, and then going away and doing the exact opposite." -G.K.Chesterton "All progress takes place outside the comfort zone." -Michael John Bobak
Hi guys! Let me just share to you a short story. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we just graduated college and were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. I started it out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second one currently under construction but launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

I love your mindset, it reminds me of getting in shape. Major transformations start in the mind, then are translated into reality through daily discipline. Eventually, everyone else will see what you've seen all along. Great stuff!

Honestly, Ryan, You talking about how you already felt like you achieved the big goal before you had actually is EXACTLY how I feel in so many ways with my online businesses.
SO KEY to feel like you have already done the thing you aspire to do because it will translate into your actions heavily.
Also, I do believe in the law of attraction, and I actually thought the other day "I wonder if Ryan does too" and i am not kidding 😂

What you described at the end reminds me of Scaffolding, chunking and things we use in Special Education. Thank you for the videos!

I knew when you said that you knew of your success before you got started with POD, you were referring to the principles of the Law of Attraction. I believe in the Law of Attraction wholeheartedly. Thank you for this encouraging and uplifting video. I'm so looking forward to my success in 2021!!!

I definitely feel the 500 tier grind. I'm not a fan of cramming designs in a time frame just to get them done. I at the very least want to make something that either looks nice or is funny enough to get away with being text only. As for the law of attraction, it's funny that you mention that because I wrote a book a few years back analyzing the mindset of thoughts manifesting reality. Short story version: I think we tend to get what we think about because we place ourselves in situations where those thoughts can flourish into oppertunities. I think that we have a very poor realization about how much our subconscious mind influences our perception and actions we take....so much that we attribute our success to the mystical with the argument of quantum mechanics as scientific proof. Honestly, I think the simple thing that makes success is that when we are faced with the constant struggle of whether or not we will do what we don't understand, we choose to take the setback in good faith that it all adds a penny in the piggy bank. It doesn't make us rich, but if you don't take those initial steps, you never will be.

I need to suck it up and apply for Merch.. I havent watched your intro vid but I am assuming there are application tips in there? Also I watched you previous gamifying ... I missed where Amazon seller required $40/no for POD drop shipping?
(Sorry thanks for another great vid)

If you’re using stock photos make sure to buy them. I’m sure you wouldn’t be happy if someone steals your designs.
    Happy New Year Ryan.

From what I hear, you buying your own stuff counts towards moving up a tier. Also try marketing outside of just relying on amazon to do it for you. Use instagram or pinterest or something. Good luck

Can you show examples of 5 designs you make in one day? I’m drawing and making art prints by hand that take hours for just one, if not days.

I’m curious on what your average monthly individual T-shirt sale, do you at least make a $1.00 profit (average) monthly per design? I’m only referring to Merch By Amazon.

Nice! Have you read Jane McGonigal or seen her TED talk? You would like her. ua-cam.com/video/dE1DuBesGYM/v-deo.html Also, I love this quote from Des Linden, "Some days it just flows and I feel like I’m born to do this, other days it feels like I’m trudging through hell. Every day I make the choice to show up and see what I’ve got, and to try and be better.
    My advice: keep showing up."
