Two of my absolute favorite content creators!! If all of social media was conducted with honesty and integrity like this the world would be a better place! ❤
I recently did a four night cruise on the Disney wish May 6-10 with my daughter who has down syndrome. We had a wonderful time I loved the food and the entertainment was the best❤
Don’t be scared off of DCL by their quote of $1k/day. That is an EXORBITANTLY price hiked cruise, both because it is during peak season and because it’s an island premiere. I am going on the Fantasy this September for a tiny bit more than $200 per day, which is comparably the same I have paid (adjusted for inflation) for the last 5 years cruising with Disney.
I came here to say the same thing. Much more affordable than most think! Our cruise on the Fantasy in October was more around $500 total per day for a deluxe extended size verandah room for 2 people. And inside/ocean view was closer to 150-200 a day for two people. And it was a week long itinerary with Halloween on high seas theme.
@@MaryMHeath I’m going on a week long HotHS, too! Sept 21-28. I think a non-peak, non-theme would be even cheaper. Plus, the longer itineraries are cheaper per day.
People need to remember that price tag includes all meals, 24hr free room service, snacks, broadway quality shows, in theater movies, trivia, games, dance clubs, non alcoholic drinks, beautiful ports/beaches, character interactions, exceptional crew members, educational seminars on the local culture, cooking demos, etc. Most other cruise lines upcharge you left & right, so you'd be shocked how close in price it actually is to other cruise lines.
As I'm not into Disney, this would definitely not be the cruise for me. I prefer a smaller ship, a quieter atmosphere. But for those who like this kind of thing, this is the kind of thing they like, and you obviously were having a fantastic time. It's great that there are so many different kinds of cruise ships from which to choose. Something for everyone!
I just LOVE the Magic. It was our family's first cruise in 2001 and holds such great memories for us. 20 cruises later and we're heading out to see the Wish for the first time in a couple months.
My 80 year old friend took an Alaskan Cruise so i thought i would watch some Ypu Tube channels about Cruises and I found my Joy! You both are such a treat and I cant wait for more!❤
I'm so happy they added the fries to the gyros place. Years ago, when I was on the Wonder, I had to go to the burger place to get fries with my gyro. Once the guys behind the counter were maybe kind of laughing at me because I wanted loaded fries, not a gyro, and it was obvious because I was holding my plate of fries, and asking for just toppings from the gyros counter, but they just asked for my plate of fries and put everything on top.
When you look at the cost of staying at a Disney Hotel on Concierge level vs taking a Disney Cruise when you look at them food and the experience a Disney Cruise is seeming that way to go for the experience and the food and the port calls combined with the onboard entertainment
Our first family cruise was on Disney, and included 3 days in the parks afterwards. After the cruise, the park felt like a cheap version of what we experienced on the water, and we never did the "sea and land" combo again because we were so disappointed in the parks experience. Admittedly, no rides or animals on the cruise, but the Disney experience on the ship was unparalleled. If your toddler son is bored from meeting Mickey/Minnie over the course of a week, you know the experience was truly "immersive"! :)
After nearly spending a week at the Contemporary Resort + a few parks I wish we went on a Disney cruise instead. When you account for food, I’m sure the cruise would have been cheaper.
Disney is expensive but, it you want a G rated, luxury cruise, it's can't be beat. I suspect the price and lack of casino eliminate the drunken riff raff that disrupts other cruise lines.
Me? Disney, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, and U.S.N. . The U.S.S. Coral Sea was better that NCL Bliss, and we even hit an oil tanker.
My wife and I have 3 little ones, currently all under age 7. For the time being, we are locked in to Disney and all the kid-friendly experiences they have to offer. It doesn't look like any of the others have nearly as many activities for children, and I don't blame them. That's not their focus. Once ours get into the teen years, we're hoping to peruse the other brands.
If you are a Disney fan, or have little people in your life, it is probably worth it. Personally, I would rather have a suite on Princess or HAL for the same price and spend 14 days exploring other cultures. Disney is a leader in mass marketing, and obviously many people love their product. I don’t mind spending $1000 per night for a cruise, but it would not be on Disney. To each their own.
We agree. We generally take Viking, Celebrity, or Oceania, because we are over 60 and they are smaller ships. Soooo many things are included as well. But we are treating our family of 5 to a Disney cruise in February. 5 days on the Dream, at what we think is a more reasonable price. Still, I hate that we have to pay so much for Wi-Fi, drinks, and some excursions, which we are used to having included in our fare. So it will be interesting to see our dollars to dollars comparison for what we get.
Thank you guys for these videos, when I found your channel I never seen what cruises offer and I'm now a huge fan because of you 2 and I live vicariously through these videos cause I know I'll never be able to afford a cruise with my family so me and my daughter watch your videos and truly enjoy them
I would be very interested in how the staff feel, the retention rate of staff on each cruise line, which one pays the best and has the happiest staff as far as how they feel their workload is, getting days off the ship, their accomodation and meals. A real behind the scenes look!!
You should look up a channel called @CruisingAsCrew. It’s run by a British Vlogger called Lucy and she’s worked on numerous cruise lines and ships of different sizes over the past decade. Just work your way back several months as she’s recently decided to spend some time on land for a while.
I can not agree with you guys more. There is just something very special about a Disney Cruise and specifically the Disney Magic. I knew from the moment I stepped aboard the Magic years ago, that a Disney Cruise was going to be a new yearly tradition. I’ve been fortunate enough to have sailed on all the ships, except the Wonder (so far). Thank you for another amazing video and for putting into words how I try to describe Disney Cruise Line to folks…. “You get what you pay for.”
Hi Ben and David it’s only me again - I hope you’ve had a good week and that you’re both keeping well - I’m just about to settle down and watch the Vlog/video but decided just to come in and say hello quickly - thank you once again for all your hard work in putting out these amazing vlogs/videos for us all to enjoy - sending loads of love and loads of hugs to you both as always ~ Xxx Xxx
I went on my first cruise last year on Disney Fantasy - Eastern Carribean. I chose it for a first cruise because I had heard good things, I was travelling alone and I adore Disney World (and have an annual pass.) It was brilliant! Great shows and good food and incredible, helpful and kind "cast members". I was told by everyone I wouldn't be happy with other cruise lines after Disney. I went on an Alaska cruise with Celebrity this past September for about 1/2 the price of my Disney cruise (again I was solo). It was brilliant. The food was amazing! The staff were extremely helpful and kind, just like on Disney. It was mostly an adult cruise and a real mix of nationalities. The Celebrity cruise was better by far. Disney is very over-rated, especially if you don't have children.
Disney Cruises and Disney resorts are all very nice but I’ve never been able to afford them. So expensive! I’ve gone to Disney World but stayed off site at a fraction of the cost. I’ve done cruises but only on sales on other cruise lines. All cruise line prices have gone up significantly so I may be priced out of cruises and other travel now. 😢
We found that by sailing on the off season we can go on a Disney cruise for under $1,000 a night and stay concierge - but it takes some real work to make it happen UPDATE: my partner reminded me that the amount we each paid adds up to over a thousand a night so I stand corrected 😂
So glad you mentioned how the food on other cruise lines has deteriorated on other cruise lines. We cruised with Princess recently after a 10 year break and the food was really disappointing (school dinner standard!). However most other online guest comments seam to think it's great 🤷
Considering the junk many people eat, that does not surprise me. If I was going to go on a cruise at all, I'd at least like the food to be good quality, well prepared and presented. I have no interest in stuffing my face, just want 3 meals a day that are tasty and healthy.
Yes yes yes please go on the new Disney Treasure cruise in December. That would be so festive, colourful and amazing!!! I’m about to book the Avalon Christmas Markets river cruise because of your videos. Can’t wait. I keep watching them over and over. Thanks guys ❤👏🏻👏🏻🎄🎅🏼🚢

I also want to say that I was on an NCL voyage and the cabin stewards are not as personable even after 2 weeks aboard (The Haven guests were called by their names) as DCL stewards who knows everyone's names regardless of class. DCL knew our names by day 2.
I agree with everything you are saying. DCL is an exceptional product, albeit a very expensive one. I just can't understand how the target customer, middle class Americans, can afford it. I fear families are putting themselves into debt to keep up with the Jones' for social media content.
@@debrascott8775Yes but they can film it and just play it back when they want, put it on social media etc, etc. Although they might not be actually enjoying it as they are too concerned about the perfect picture all the time and everything is experienced through the lens.
A one-day pass at Disney can cost $150/each, and a 3-day pass is around $350 for kids and $362 for adults - and that's without food or accommodation. Cruise prices don't seem that bad compared to what it would cost for a 4-day family vacation at Disney World.
I’m the same with Disney cruise line. There is just something about it that is just so homely and the service is amazing! I just love how friendly the staff are. Great video guys! X
Disney looks really good ..watching how exited you guys were makes it so much more enjoyable. Disney is good quality I m not a big kid but Ben and David you have brought the inner child out in me. 👍
Part of the value too is that the kids club is unlimited and included. It's a better value if you have kids. Other cruise lines charge for it or charge after a certain number of hours. And there is one restaurant that is considered specialty on Disney, but everything else is included (except of course, alcohol). You also don't need to buy a drink package for soda.
It is an insane amount of money but if you can afford it it's worth it. If you can't afford it and have to borrow money to do it it is definitely not worth it.
Have cruised on the Dream when it was 2 years old and the Wonder right after Covid. The Wonder didn’t feel small, and still felt very fresh and new despite being over 20 yrs old. The Magic and Wonder are by no means small ships. They are both considerably bigger than the Titanic. I think I prefer the Wonder slightly more than the Dream. It’s easier to get around in and feels less crowded.
Hi there! You mentioned and showed in your last blog how filthy the room was. Did they address your dirty room? Did they take care of you? Jen and Joe xo
Thank you so much, Ben and David! I really love the Donald Duck and Disney Pride shirts! I would have to go as a solo, since i don’t know anyone as into Disney as i am and willing to pay the high price. But you’re paying for all the characters and shows, which would make it worth it for me - if i could find someone to split a cabin! It’s nice to hear that Disney is not cutting back on quality.
I'm glad that you both had a great time, Ben and David on your Disney cruise. After reviewing both Disney cruises, including Princess cruises, I decided on booking the Discovery Princess for an upcoming birthday cruise. -All my best always and happy sailing.
My GF, Partner, Groovy Sidekick and best friend never miss one of your exciting and informative episodes. You are very truthful in your reviews, while making every entertaining, and at times quite funny. We find your personalities so cute and of course darling. We find ourselves getting quite upset when you guys find poor service or are mistreated in someway during your many cruises. You are simply too sweet to ever be made unhappy or not pleased in anyway. Stay groovy, and stay safe.
In the US, jelly is made from fruit juice and jam is made from whole fruit. Are they both called jam in the UK? Also in the UK, are English muffins called English muffins or just muffins?
Jelly, in the UK, is a dessert made with fruit juice and gelatine. We often use it as a layer in trifle. Jam or conserve is made with whole fruit and served with toast or scones. English muffins - the sort you use for Eggs Benedict - are still called English muffins here. Muffins are the sweet ones we have for breakfast.
Just discovered your channel today and you guys are AWESOME! I’ve never wanted to take a cruise before until I watched your MSC Explora videos omfg I think I have to do that! As for Disney though, honestly because I’m Canadian I don’t feel I have an attachment to Disney. The service and food and amenities look amazing but for that money I can’t imagine wanting a Disney branded/themed holiday. Couldn’t imagine anything worse actually. But the MSC cruise? Omg YES. Instantly followed! Love you guys been watching your videos all day haha
In US we use both jam and jelly but they are different things. Jelly is clear, with the plup and seeds strained out before it sets. Jam has all the seeds and plup and is easier to make. I love jam myself.
I have only cruised with Disney I’m up to 4 now just the last couple of years THE BEST customer service hands down, I love the food on the ships also. I have done the spa which Disney doesn’t run it an outside company does but I enjoyed it love the hot stone massage. I wanted the pools to get better and they have on The Wish with more pools, the older ships needed bigger or more pools in my opinion. The beds on the ship are really good not for sure what mattress company they use but I sleep so good on those ships I think the gentle lull of being on the ocean has something to do with it. Even if you go on an older ship our first was The Wonder but you wouldn’t know it cause they keep those ships in tip top condition always cleaning and painting. My best friend and her husband went on Carnival and we have both done Disney Cruises together and separately she said there was no comparison she said Disney’s experience compared to Carnival’s is night and day she said Disney felt like a luxury cruise and Carnival felt like a discounted Dollar Store cruise 😂 don’t attack me for that I shop at the Dollar Store too I just had to compare it to something. And like Ben was saying there is so many things to do on the ships you would even have time to do them all that’s what makes each cruise fun is the different ways you can cruise if you wanna be busy all the time you can if you wanna relax you can. I haven’t been to the new island but I have been to Castaway Cay Disney’s island stop and I love it there so beautiful. So trust me if you haven’t pulled the plug and your thinking of booking one do it you will have no regrets!
To be fair, you guys did get on the inaugural sailing to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, which was also at the beginning of summer so you almost couldn't have found a more expensive time of year to sail.
I NEED you guys to come to Disneyland Pride Nite next year!!! I just know you’ll love it! As a disney content creator and cruiser across multiple lines, you guys are my favorite ❤🎉 HAPPY PRIDE
British and American bacon are made from two noticeably different cuts with big differences in fat content, but the product is raw and has to be cooked before eating. Canadian bacon is like ham - it’s already processed/cooked.
@@toniblackmore3016 We call it back bacon or peameal bacon here (Ontario, Canada) and it always needs cooking. Strip bacon is just bacon, or side bacon.
In the US we have jelly, jam, and preserves; jelly is made with strained fruit juice with no pieces of fruit, jam is made with mashed fruit & juice, and preserves have whole fruit or large pieces of fruit.😊
Atlantis is fantastic but hella expensive. Ive been 4 times over the course 15ish years. It has gone a little down hill since the first time ive been but i went last year and it was still an incredible experience. Our favorite place to eat was chop stix, followed by carmines and bimini road.
In the US we have marmalade jam and jelly. For us marmalade is clear with chunks of fruit, jam is not clear and has mashed up fruit, Jelly is made from fruit juice and is clear as in grape jelly.
I know the tile is for clickbait reasons but the first cruise to a new area is bound to be more expensive. Yes it’s pricey but it’s honestly more worth it compared to other cruise lines where they essentially nickel and dime you to reach the point of a Disney cruise’s included offerings.
Thank you so much for this video! My initial thoughts on a Disney cruise were that it would be noisy and screaming kids everywhere but it actually looks quite calm and elegant! Love it :)
We have just booked our first Disney cruise in October 2025…fingers crossed we love it. Have paired it with the wilderness lodge and in comparison the cruise is good value. The hotel prices have really gone up over the last 10years but as they say….”you can’t take it with you”

We have Jam and Jelly in America. Jam(made with whole fruit) and Jelly (made with fruit juice) is not the same thing. It's categorized differently.
Same as in the UK then, good to know 👍🏼
Fair enough but in South Carolina most people say jelly for both. That said, jam is better!
Same in Canada angelsmilkyway4352! Yummy, we have both, as you describe. 😊

Disney is not for the middle class anymore. What was a childhood dream has turned into an adult nightmare.
A one-day pass at Disney can cost $150/each, and a 3-day pass is around $350 for kids and $362 for adults - and that's without food or accommodation. Cruise prices don't seem that bad compared to what it would cost for a 4-day family vacation at Disney World.
It's obvious how much you love Disney Cruises! You should join us on the Treasure March 22nd to the 29th. We would love to meet y'all.
I always say about DCL.. you get what you pay for.. and it's true!!
I’m the same with Disney cruise line. There is just something about it that is just so homely and the service is amazing! I just love how friendly the staff are. Great video guys! X
Homely?
I truly enjoy all your reviews! You guys are detailed without being boring lol thank you! And keep the videos going!
We too have seen the cut backs Right down to no napkin with a cocktail!
Ben and David, we love your videos! We have taken our kids on 3 Disney cruises. We learn a lot from you! ❤🏳️🌈
Disney looks really good ..watching how exited you guys were makes it so much more enjoyable. Disney is good quality I m not a big kid but Ben and David you have brought the inner child out in me. 👍
We are going on our first disney cruise this december! So excited as it will be my sons first birthday!
Sooo enjoyed this vlog, and loved your Donald Duck shirt Ben👏🏻👏🏻Love you guys! Thanks so much for your hard work and commitment to a great channel!
Every time I watch your videos I spend most of the time laughing. Thanks for all the effort you put into your channel and your great attitudes.
Great video! You'd never catch me on a Disney cruise... but you guys still made it look fun!
You have really found your happy place on Disney. Thanks for sharing the joy!
Loved this video, summed up why we love disney cruise line after 2 cruises ✨
I think the first cruise I ever took was out of Tampa. The ship looks grand! Thank you so much for the experience!
Ben has some sexy remarks sometimes about his food...I luv his personality ❤
To me, Disney means magic, happiness, adventure, escape, and overall a high level of entertainment and just having fun.
To me Disney means OVERPRICED!
Best DCL offerings for the money, are the Transatlantics, and the Panama Canal Cruise on Wonder, I did with my father.
Hi there! You mentioned and showed in your last blog how filthy the room was. Did they address your dirty room? Did they take care of you? Jen and Joe xo
I would love to know this as well!
@@NL4915Unfortunately, no response…
Thank you so much, Ben and David! I really love the Donald Duck and Disney Pride shirts! I would have to go as a solo, since i don’t know anyone as into Disney as i am and willing to pay the high price. But you’re paying for all the characters and shows, which would make it worth it for me - if i could find someone to split a cabin! It’s nice to hear that Disney is not cutting back on quality.
Always value your reviews and feedback ❤❤ thank you for sharing guys
Disney just seems completely worth every penny just for the incredible service alone!
Need update on what they did for you, on the room not being cleaned at start of voyage. Love you guys.
I know in Britain they call Jell-O "jelly." That's where the lingual confusion begins... 🤪
@@russbear31 Oh my. I wouldn't want to order a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
@@Lovesapuzzle Exactly. If you travel to the UK and ask a waiter for jelly for your toast, you'll get a bowl of Jell-O. 😂
@@russbear31 It would probably taste alright but still, I'll remember to order jam for my toast.
Always love your Disney cruise videos! Please go on the Disney Treasure!!! Thanks for the joy you bring in your vlogs! 💕🛳🌊
33:07 that is the thinnest slice of pork pie I've ever seen in my life 😂
In US we use both jam and jelly but they are different things.
I think its really cute that you went to your old cabin!❤❤❤
Brilliant vlog and I loved spying Superenthused behind Rapunzel 😍
How is it like on a Disney cruise can you tell me I also might be going next year
To be fair, you guys did get on the inaugural sailing to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, which was also at the beginning of summer so you almost couldn't have found a more expensive time of year to sail.
I NEED you guys to come to Disneyland Pride Nite next year!!! I just know you’ll love it! As a disney content creator and cruiser across multiple lines, you guys are my favorite ❤🎉 HAPPY PRIDE
Carnivale leaves from Port of Jacksonville as well,
In the USA, Canadian bacon comes in rounds and used for eggs Benedict, whereas regular bacon comes in strips.
Canadian bacon is actually thin cuts of lean pork loin. American bacon is strips of fat-laden, heart-attack inducing pork belly goodness. 😅
@@russbear31 whatever it is, it’s delicious!
You left out preserves. Mashed up fruit with chunks of fruit in it.
I can't believe the show-blocking pillar from Jenny Nicholson's Star Wars Hotel video made a cameo on your cruise
I know the tile is for clickbait reasons but the first cruise to a new area is bound to be more expensive. Yes it’s pricey but it’s honestly more worth it compared to other cruise lines where they essentially nickel and dime you to reach the point of a Disney cruise’s included offerings.
Ordinary Adventure Star! I laughed my ass off and fell out of my chair. 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you two for always providing us with absolutely amazing content constantly!
the way your content is enjoyable if you watch it really focused or just turn your brain off to it is a compliment to its quality!
Missed Jacksonville
Thank you so much for this video! My initial thoughts on a Disney cruise were that it would be noisy and screaming kids everywhere but it actually looks quite calm and elegant! Love it :)
Hi guys thank you for sharing your adventures. I love all your videos and find you both adorable 🥰. I hope that’s ok with you.😊❤❤
We have just booked our first Disney cruise in October 2025…fingers crossed we love it. Have paired it with the wilderness lodge and in comparison the cruise is good value. The hotel prices have really gone up over the last 10years but as they say….”you can’t take it with you”
Whoops forgot to say it’s on the treasure, do you have any plans to go on that ship?
I used to have a shirt that had the saying “Life’s too short. eat dessert first.” On it.
Hi Ben and David. Love your videos. From Kentucky USA
Would LOVE to see the Disney Treasure!
