I could connect my camera to my iPhone but not my Mac I search on the internet and found a board that say cannon Mac connection is not supporting anymore and there supposed to fix it but it’s been years and no one fix it

Ugh none of this works the Mac says you need to choose a file opener or destination and since finder can’t open it I guess I can’t connect to WiFi either! The WiFi downloaded thing that I was supposed to connect with it didn’t work, it was outdated and needed to be updated.

Nope! Not recommending these steps! Whoever made these setups might think it’s easy, but it’s not! Talk about ease of use! We just need our images transferred into our device! The older Sony models were a lot easier to use!!!! And we don’t want our images to always be uploaded in your server!!! Come on people!!! I don’t get why you’re not able to transfer directly from the camera to the computer via usb cord. Simple! Don’t buy this camera!

That operating system should already have the necessary drivers built in, allowing you to simply connect the camera and turn it on.
