I was trackside at The Ten at JSerra, and watched you race in a seriously stacked field. You led the chase pack for much of the race. Your paces were consistent and you ran a PB. Well done, Micah. Curious what you thought of the pace lights.
Thank you, glad you were there! I did enjoy seeing them and they definitely helped through 5k, making sure I was a little off the 16:00 pace. Definitely can be stressful watching them the whole time though so I made sure to focus on other things too
@@candlestheresa They are a series of LED lights along the inside of lane 1 and are programmed to circle the track at a predetermined pace with the intent of assisting the lead runners to achieve PBs, or meet records, or American records, or World records, etc. World Athletics has been using them since 2020 for elite level competitions.
Girl, u are so incredible and pretty, I love watching ur videos, I have gotten more into running since I started watching ur channel, thx soooo much!!!
Hello Mica, I wanted to congratulate you on the good result you achieved in the 5,000 m.l of the Ibero-American championship. Even though I was Spanish, I wanted you to win. Your way of running is pure poetry. I know that you will participate in a world championship and in some Olympic games, you are already the best in Peru.
Great race Mica! You beat my pb! (32:47 from 45 yrs ago). I know you’re gonna knock that time down even further. I’m gonna go to The 10 next year, watched it online this year. Good luck at the Peruvian Nationals, hope to see you (and Adam) in the Olympics!
You are grinding hard and making progress. You might want to cook at home prerace with some simple foods - grilled chicken / rice etc. That Pizza and Paste out looked great but maybe a little rich.
We started outdoor track this wee’ and it’s my first time doing track and it’s been really fun sadly it’s been raining and we had to run the mile and it was muddy and there were puddles but i got a new pb and it’s not like an insanely good time but I’m really proud of myself for working hard, great job, and good vid as always
Nice work 👍 Sounds like you have a food allergy though. Something seems to be messing with your digestion. Gluten, soy, even dairy. My wife and I have had similar issues. A low FODMAP diet is usually the key. Look into The Vertical Diet. Great vid as always 👌
Starting 24-30 hours before the race, keep your diet super simple. Nothing that'll sit around long in your digestive system / be difficult to process. Like no meat, very little fiber, not a lot of fat or processed junk. Go for liquid-based nutrition more so than solid. Research the foods that cause bloating & gas and avoid them. Easy in, easy out. Virtually all the food you were eating during this video before the race you should have chosen to not eat.
@@emkova I lived that life. If she wanna go pro, she needs to be more serious. The traditional method was to carb up before a race, but pizza? With all the extra cholesterol and cheese? Yeah, burn it off. Or clean it up. There are athletes, pro athletes, that have nutritionists and chefs making meals for them. If she wanna go pro, she needs to up her game with nutrition planning. It’s not all about training.
GOOD WORK 🙏🏼
that track looked dope with the inside line tracker and lights
Sucks that you were feeling unwell while running, you and Adam really inspire me with your running content. Good luck in Peru!!
Looking forward to the Peru video 😊.

Crushed it. I got a 10k PB at the weekend, 43:36 down from 44:54…. I can only dream of a sub 40 let alone 32 something. You did great, enjoy the ride
Thank you and great job!
Not bad when that great time like that (and a PB) is below 110% of what you can put out there and give. You are in a good spot Micah. Keep it up!
32 40 and not feeling great. Thats amazing and shows your in great shape.
Yayy I been waiting for you to post🎉
Good job on the PR you did great keep on trying and sorry you felt sick to your stomach but awesome job 👍🏼👍🏼😊😊

True!! Will be trying that
not the bloating tho
you are amazing!! my idol!!
love Adam's commentary
"Coming from a guy who has never run a 10k . . . " lol. Love the side eye! Good on both y'all, though. Great run! Keep grinding and good luck!
Yeh 10ks are funny like that. Also watching you race at dark time reminds me how little I miss night races haha.. BUT HEY MAN Congrats on a PB!
I’ve been a fan of Adam for about 8 months now just found your channel dropped a sub
Glad you’re here!
I eat just like Adam 😂😂😂 absolutely attacking the empty glass with the spoon for one last bite
You got ittt Peru would be pleased to have you as a representative athlete 🙌
🎵 “Llevo en mi mochilon… café y canela, también mi corazón, pa Micaela”
Great job Mica! And the ON shoes you wore for the race look amazing. What’s the model?

Saludos desde mexico 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
that Pizza looks so good
Adam is never depressed. Trust me.
Whats the qualification process in Peru? Placement in the upcoming race or a specific time?
I see more people with those on cloud spikes now are they the new best distance spikes?
Congratulations on a PB when you weren't feeling your best. Hope the Peru races went well.
Solid effort team 🎉
What place did you end up getting? Btw you did so good!!
Thank you!! I got 7th in my heat, there were a lot of great runners!
nice job mica a pb is a pb keep it up
Hey whats your diet like as a runner? Do you take any supplements?
I love Adam’s side (nee Coach) comments🤣
do u ever plan on doing longer distances?
I know this isn’t running related, but please share your makeup routine!
Micah how do i avoid side stomach pain while running? Please answer if you can
How do you know what pack you are running with, before you get started? And what is a pack?
My idol
Is liquid iron the only nutrient supplement you take?
I hated doing track, one I always felt like i had to go to the washroom, and it was uncomfy af running fadt
O bom é quem corre pode comer de tudo e depois é só queimar 🔥
Diet needs to be dialed, recommend eating the same foods you know won’t agitate your stomach a week out.
bien Cami, haz contenido en español, muchas bendiciones
Congrats on the PR!
I've noticed that gluten and diary cause me bloating. It's worth exprerimenting with your diet to better understand your body.

The G.I. tract is quite often a runners worst enemy.
seriously
Yea I always say I’d love to knuckle up with my digestive system
What is Anne Hathaway doing running? Haha
Your beautiful 💞 😍
You need to get on diet plan. Can’t be eating whatever everyone is eating like pizza and sandwiches and expect to be an elite athlete!
mica is gorgeous nice features
Yall need more protein as serious athletes
I like your channel. You have a good husband who gives you kisses, then I send to you flowers.
Why are you eating a pizza i& your trying to go pro?
Carbs
Plus she’ll burn em off quick
