It's so sad seeing all these children come up missing and not found and the ones they do find and have passed away! If we can find a single man in the middle of no where living in a cave in a whole ass other country. But we don't have anything to catch these evil people and find our kids, alive!we put tracker chips in our animals so why can't we do something similar idk, sorry I went off on a tangent! Thanks again for all your hard work!

Soooooo what does this suggest? That sex offenders are "normal" part of the population? And people still don't adapt their behaviour regarding their children. Still act like the world should be a utopia, allowed to wear anything, let anyone babysit, open doors, allow any child/'relative' around them. Adapt.

If only Haleigh had family like you instead of hers. I don't think her father is innocent. If he didn't outright condone Misty's actions he allowed and facilitated her neglect and abuse every day. If her little body couldn't take it anymore she could have passed away and Misty panics. Imo that means the dad is just as culpable because the long term neglect probably is what ended Haleigh's life.

I had my daughter at 17 and she’s been the best thing that’s ever hpnd to me, esp since she’s my one and only child. However, her dad was 6yrs older than me.
My parents knew if they didn’t allow it, then I’d find a way to be with him, but looking back, I regret that it was HIM I had a child with due to how awful of a person he turned out to be. Thank GOD I never married him!
It’s not uncommon for 17yr olds to have children, contrary to popular belief OR date older guys lol but there IS def something wrong with a guy who constantly dates underage girls.
My grandmother had my uncle at 16, then my mother at 19. My grandfather was 7yrs older than her and they were married a very long time.
It’s a case by case basis bc I was mature for my age and never dated guys in my age range, I actually never have lol I’m 36, getting married in 3wks, and my fiancé is A LOT older than me, but that’s the cards we were dealt. He’s the love of my life so it doesn’t matter.
You can’t help who you fall in love with, but neither of these girls were mature or prepared to raise a child or be responsible for that matter bc they continued to drink & do drugs and be with an absolute loser!! All of them are losers imo and that poor little girl needs JUSTICE!!

IT WAS THE ONE PERSON SHE DIDN'T EVEN SAY HAD COME BY THAT NIGHT.
ALSO, SHE HAD TO BE THE ONE TO OPEN THAT DAMN BACK DOOR, BECAUSE IT WAS DEADBOLTED FROM THE INSIDE OUT. SO YES, SHE'S LYING AND SHE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT PRECIOUS BABYGIRL. WHAT THE HELL
IS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO LOVE THEIR CHILDREN, THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN, THEY'VE DISAPPEARED
FROM HOME, NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN⁉️😳😡🙄 THERE'S ALOT OF BABIES AND CHILDREN COMING UP DEAD, MISSING, TORTURED ETC. THE WORLD, IS TRULY FALLING APART WHEN
NOTHING SEEMS TO MAKE SENSE ANYMORE⁉️ IT'S LIKE PEOPLE ONLY CARE FOR THEMSELVES AND NOTHING MORE. THAT'S THE SADDEST PART OF ALL OF THE CRIME THAT'S GOING ON TODAY, IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER, IT CONTINUES TO BE ON A DECLINE. I PRAY 🙏 THAT GOD IS WITH THOSE THAT TRULY LOVE, AND SEEK HIS HOLY DIRECTION AND GUIDENCE. FATHER IN HEAVEN, PROTECT US ALL FROM THE EVILS OF THIS WORLD & EVIL PEOPLE.

Idk if anyone else noticed it in her jail interview, but Misty tried to flip the 20+ phone calls saying she called Ronald and he didnt answer.
I think the two most probable explanations are that either Misty had her brother come to watch the kids while she went out and partied, or he came over and they got high together. If she went out, her brother may have harmed Haleigh resulting in her death, which Misty helped conceal. If they stayed in and did drugs, Haleigh may have gotten ahold of some and they both covered it up.
Either way, I sincerely hope her remains are found and charges are finally brought.

@goldenmare2594 in an earlier part of the video, Annie mentioned that there were reports that Misty was seen at a party that night and that, according to reports Ronald and others tried calling her 20+ times with no answer.
Missed calls that don't connect aren't going to show on either outgoing or incoming call record. If he let it go to voice-mail each time, it would show on his records as an outgoing call, not hers.

I know 17yrs old is very young but I myself was married at 17yrs old and one month and two days later after getting married I gave birth to my daughter , I know I was still considered a child but me and my daughter father had to grow up fast especially when we found out I was pregnant and we did the best we knew how to be to be great parents to her. My daughter is now an amazing 27yr old woman and I a, so very proud of her and she is proud of me too. I was blessed to have my parents and my in-laws in my life there if we needed them but we wanted to show our family and those who doubted us as being good parents at such a young ago that we could do it and I’m blessed that I was taught by an amazing lady how to be a good mama and wife at even a young age. I grew up watching my mom be an amazing wife and mother and my mother in law taught me alot as well. So I do hate when people say a 17yr old child can’t be a parent, I for one know that is a young age but at that age you know right from wrong too and I knew it was right to be a good mama and take care of my daughter.

Misty either did something to that little girl, or she knows who DID do something and she’s covering for them, and she married Ron so that he couldn’t be compelled to incriminate her. I wasn't diagnosed until I was about 12, as we were wondering why I wasn't reaching developmental milestones like the rest of the girls in my school. Thankfully, however, my parents did everything they could to provide me the care and got me the treatments necessary for it. Including multiple heart surgeries as it caused me to have bad murmurs. I am 5'1, which is actually on the tall side, however not to be TMI, I didn't develop or have my first period until I was a junior in high school. It led to a lot of bullying, on top of that being diagnosed as autistic, my heart goes out to this girl.

It doesn’t feel like the gravity of this case, her disappearance, ever hit them hard enough since they are so used to being in trouble with the law anyway.

This case still hurts my soul. Living in the same small community where this happened & having a daughter the same age, I was glued to this case. Ronald married Misty because of the age difference. No other reason. He didn't want to get in trouble for her being under 18. Then it was rumored he told people he married her because "keep your enemies close" scenario.
It was also rumored Misty was at a drug house with the kids & Haleigh got into their drugs & died. It was either the brother or cousin that borrowed a van that night. Joe is believed to have helped dispose of the body. They ended up locking Misty & Ronald up on drug charges because they couldn't get any evidence on Haleigh's disappearance. We all know Misty knows exactly what happened. Not long ago Ronald was released & ended up wrecking his truck drunk & was sent right back.

Is it just me or is @Annie Elise on fire 🔥 lately? I feel horrible for the victims and families of. However I do enjoy everything true crime. I grew up with my dad and step dad and several other members of my family in law enforcement. From street cops to FBI agents so my fascination started early. Then as an adult I was victimized by a man who couldn’t keep his hands to himself. Finally resulting in the beating of a lifetime, where I coded 3 times in route to the nearest hospital. Spent almost a month in a coma, undergoing several surgeries and rehabilitation. Including learning to walk all over again. Even though I knew ALL the signs and RED FLAGS 🚩 I was still vulnerable and fell for the BS. Anyway sorry for rambling but thanks Annie for your channel and the beautiful story telling. But now that she is already locked up she's never going to really pay for what she did to that little girl!
