That little camera heli looks like some kind of interstellar space craft. It reminds me a bit of the warp drive on the star ship Enterprise. I must say I really like that look. Coooolll.

Holy moly this one is pretty cool. I think you nailed the target audience but I can see dads wanting their turn with it too! Video is okay easily good enough for what it is.

Ok, the folding option is really cool :) Good for storage :D Also great how they have that little latch over the micro SD card slot, to prevent ejections on crashes. I am really curious to see how these cheap "telemetry" systems work compared to something more sophisticated like FrSky telemetry. Seems to very stable and good in flight, although the rates are slow, but that would help with filming. Camera was pretty decent too, for it's size, as well as compared to say the nano quad cameras. Nice video!

I really want to purchase a silver lit helicopter with camera but im not sure which one is best! this one and the sky eye seem best but not sure. Any suggestions anyone?

Good stuff man! This is one of the first that I'm actually pretty impressed with. Very stable!
Really cool, I saw a heli that looks like this at a shop nearby, it maybe a rebrand or a clone, or a silverlit product, I didn't really pay attention to the brand name. Really cool, especially with the hand held cam thing, I may pick it up one day, but I'm hoping they'll make an upgrade with better video quality.

The QueensConquerer It's hard for me to say what another person might think of something, which is why I try to provide as much info as I can in my reviews... so you can decide for yourself if it's what you want. I think it's a pretty cool toy, and if the camera quality is good enough for your uses, I think you could have a lot of fun with it on a trip. :)

Thanks for your videos!! I wonder, if this is the smallest 2.4 GHz
helicopter. I would like to fly helicopter from my ship scale model and
2.5 - 3.2 inch would be the size to not look out of scale. I have to
exclude IR control, and this one is great but is probably a bit bigger
than I would like. Are there slightly smaller 2.4 GHz helicopters (not
quadrucopers-drones!)
Hmm, I'm not sure. I think this is indeed the smallest 2.4ghz helicopter that I know of.

With that 'in-tx' camera function, you finally have real non-beginner related reason for the spring return on the throttle. Just imagine throttling up with the heli folded up inside the tx. O.O
+yadabub Hah, good point! I never even tried that to see what happens. I'd imagine they have disabled the throttle in some way. Another commenter pointed out that the camera knows to flip the image upside down when the heli is stored in the camera, so maybe that feature also disabled the throttle.

Awesome review! I'm glad it's not infrared, so it can be flown outside on dead calm days.
can you please record a short outdors video with no wind? ps. I dont think that souch a small heli would react good to wind
+Darth Vader Nah, you can imagine what it would be like. It would need to be pretty much completely calm out for this to fly outdoors. It won't be able to handle much of a breeze at all. And we rarely get days that calm here in Illinois.

+Brahma Astra That is really old, and I don't think it's in production any more. I think the newer version of that model is the same as the Air Hogs 400X that I reviewed.
Does it take pictures upside down while its in the transmitter?

Silverlit have really stepped up their game. 5 years ago you'd be lucky if a Silverlit aircraft would even stay in the air. I try to avoid purchasing any more coaxes at this point, but this is a super cool product.

+NIklas Stoudt It's a tiny coaxial helicopter, so it won't be able to handle really any wind at all.

+Dillon Ravindu Gearbest can be *really* slow. I think that they exaggerate their 'in stockness.' For the most part, Banggood seems to be good in that regard, barring unexpected high demand, assuming that you only order one product per order.
It's really cute, it looks like a big eyeball with a helicopter rotor, something out of a cartoon! :D It's interesting that it "knows" when it's stored and when it's not, to invert the picture when needed. However, for filming purposes, obviously it's no match for the manoeuvrability of a quadcopter. Also I always love how Elsie never gives a poop about the weird stuff that flies near her face!
