Love that I'm watching all of these videos and everyone's talking about what you should be doing with this and that and I'm just here trying to collect them all, don't even have a single mythic yet and just playing the game at my own pace 😂
I would not be too greedy with +5, you get them from the tower and Dream boss. I have Thoren, Vala and Temesia and I will have enough for Oddie when I get him to Mythic+ on shop reset.
you're not wrong, but its all about perspective, when you are f2p or close to it, you probably don't have a developed roster to the point where you have a bunch of characters that need it, but as soon as you get into the light-medium spending category, all of a sudden you have 10+ characters who all need their ex weapon upgraded and you do end up having to plan/budget it out so you can stay competitive in the boss/arena rankings, unless you just go ahead and buy the ex-crystal packs from the shop, but I can say from experience that when you do that you quickly feel like its not worth it because of how many you need and how many characters you are trying to build, obviously the mega whales wouldn't care about that though
This is reason i dislike people who goes to new servers and how game REWARDS them for that and we who started day 1 with overcrowded servers will never get great rewards becouse we cant ever be in top 20-50 in dream realm.
One tip for people who are progressing faster than the average f2p, like medium spenders, smokeys +10 actually enables you to beat certain abyss stages that you are underpowered or not equipped for yet due to his stun interrupting the main mechanic of the other teams. I think there were maybe 3-4 stages like that for me so far. Often too because one of the metas for certain abyss stages while underpowered that you can't beat is to go full tank/heals with smokey doing pretty much all the killing. This is relatively niche but if you are a spender then you often care about niche cases so just wanted to put that out there for anyone interested. I'm sure you can also just overpower those stages too, obviously something like that wouldn't be required to progress, it just enables you to do it faster.
Would be amazing if you could save formations does tend to get annoying to switch every now and a then or you end up forgetting a formation you wanna try on said stage In the future
I feel like she's a bit of a trap. She helps you progress early, so we think she'll always be important, but in reality the differences in resources from say 600 and 900 afk battle are not as huge as you'd think. The more important resources are in the dream realm, and she's not great there.
@mick977 she is tho, like not m+ marilee or korrin but she usuall deals damage close to odie (m+ ). She's not the greatest veey long term but at stage 950 she's still the main carry and is very useful for a lot of gamemodes
FINALLY!! just got my oddie to Mytic +, now I have 4, Celia Florabelle, Hewynn, and Odie. Need 1 more copy of Smokey to Mytic + him. I +5 my Odie and Hewynn (for the 30% damage reduction).

@@kidusgetachew9215 I am talking more long term. I am on floor 216 in trial of abyss and I sometimes have to run 3 heals and 1 DPS, and that 1 DPS is Odie. Resonance level 263. Cecia is good for starting out, but unless she is your absolute favorite, she is not ideal for harder content or Dream bosses.
@@kidusgetachew9215 lol yeah. I am #1 in Dream in a whale server. My team usually has Odie in it, though there are some exceptions for certain bosses. If you want to do well in Dream these are the heroes you need to focus: Mari, Korin, Kruger, Odie, Smokey, Thoran, Reiner and Koko. Koko is only for new difficulties where you are not able to stay alive for the whole fight. Once surviving is not an issue, you can swap her out.
to me the blue keys are not as rare as the gold. You should read the skill if +5 matters for your heroes you should. Like Cecia plus 5 is okay it can help you push as well. Odie +10 should be your first priority then form there you can operate to suit
this is a hard one. i did it on cecia and odie coz they were my main DPS for bossing and i didnt expect to get this many units so close to M+ this fast. its kinda RNG dependant
@VolkinAFKJourney yeah atm I just upgrade my oddee Cecil n thorin hero focus because they are carry too and I've been stuck on certain stages. I guess I will start saving up the essence for the weapon upgrade unless I'm stuck somewhere. Thanks for the reply though
smokey was my first and got him to +10 weapon when i had resonance level 60. it felt good at the time but the 0.1 stun is useless. i wish i saved them instead for someone else.
i think an important note that doesn't feel like it's being said that much on youtube is: you don't have to spend your resources on upgrading all of the meta units; at the end of the day it's a game so upgrade whoever you find the most fun to use :)
I’m around level 130-140. Got my first mythic plus (Smokey) the other day. Should I take him off my wish list? And if so, who would you recommend I replace him with?
Hey quick question, for an achievement I have to unlock exclusive equipment for any hero at lvl 25, how difficult is it to achieve in 20 days, which hero would you recommend to be guaranteed to do it? Thanks
Odie I completely agree in being top priority, Im not sure about Thoran and Eiron being priority over Marilee and Korin. Both are great bossing and Dream Real is your passive income of those rare fragments to level your weapons up even more, aiming to get top 20. I mean, its a circle, investing in characters which are going to give you more fragment to build other characters, does it makes sense? My Odie is +10 and Marilee as well. Now im working to get Korin M+ and +10.
my Thoran is +5 and will stay there, Odie's currently at +7. my Eironn's taking his sweet time, so i'm sure i'll be done with Odie before i can start focusing on Eironn c:
One question that I always have is if I should upgrade the hero focus or not. I've done it for odie and cecia already but not sure if it was a good idea
I must say the temporal essence is really making me consider dropping the game. I can not even get a single character to +10. I selected the guild chest with essence and got a whopping 2 this week. For players that cannot score top in dream realm this resource is stupidly limited.
@@mlekosojowe7312 Might as well say focus on rerolling until you find a server without many whales. I failed that and will not start again. I prioritized dream realm still can't make it into the top 100. And when I do on some bosses it is 1 whole essence.
I'm All-in in Odie. Since I got him EX+10, he's a beast! He helps a lot in AFK 900+ stages. And thanks to your tips about semi-auto during fight, I can choose key enemy heroes so Odie can get rid of them ASAP. Vala is EX+8 for PVP and bosses. I spent a lot blue keys in leg+ skills of heroes I use everyday. Now I saving for Thoran / Eironn / etc whoever meta character reach mythic+ first
As someone with smokey at supreme and shakir at mythic+, go for smokey. smokey is a key part of my teams though so depends on your setups and what you need or lacking
@@cre8tion454 awesome, thanks for the advice. I just put the acorns on Shakir. I skipped Vala so I will use Shakir on the Bear. I got the top 24 on the wolf but I'm aiming for top 20 for the Bear world boss. I think Shakir's kit fits well cuz Ive heard. That the boss has huge damage.
i've been levelling up my igor as my luck has allowed me to get him to supreme (i don't have any other units above mythic), he gets a more reliable heal reduction at level 10 so just been trying to get to that breakpoint before saving for some more useful units
I dont think this is a problem, afk arena is much harder than this, the events, season and so much things to release, the game will give more resources, just wait for a long time

I have seen quite a lot of your videoes now. I generally see your point, but I do not agree in your overall thought process. If you save stuff in this game, then you will fall behind the curve you could have hit. Using stuff to NOT gain power and progression is NOT good, I agree on that one!! But if you can gain power to progress then why the heck would you wait? With the more power you get way more ressources in the long run. Does not matter if you are "above" the stages you need for next chapter. You still get more resources by pushing and getting the lvls of heroes way earlier.
He talks about who to prioritise spending the rarest of resources on. Some chars will naturally benefit a lot more from upgrading their ex weapons higher than others. For a F2P this is essential info as you could brick your account by spending them unwisely.
The point is to wait untill you have acummulated 150 essence to upgrade from lvl 0 to 5. Because in the meantime rng might give you way higher priority charecter
Let's all be honest with ourselves here, if you could transfer those Tidal Essences into pulls, you wouldn't have quite so many of them saved, would you? 🤣
I mean it is afk lol, they just allowed it so you can explore the world and stuff which is pretty fire ngl. It does have lots of afk aspects. I mean tbh you don’t even have to really explore the world, I literally stayed at the first area for a week straight just doing afk stages and logging in daily. But then I decided to give the game a chance and had a blast doing so. Now I’m on nearly week 3 🤷♀️

Am I wrong to think cecia will last? Her entangle branches can be really op and you will see the real difference when she is out.
She takes too long to get her ult out. At higher levels her summon dies real fast too. Odie at +15 carries the whole team at high deficit.

Dream boss (higher rank), arena rank (first time reward) and guild chest, I think these are the only sources for now.

Korin and Marilee are pve only dream realm, to be exact.
Thoran and Eiron are Meta both in pve and pvp, trial of abyss and arena battles.
You dont think Marilee is worth upgrading?? (for boss only)

most are from getting really high in PVP when you get into legendary 3 and top 200 and top 100 you get lots of gold and lot of reds.
