AFK journey is about strategy, not tactics or skill. It’s about making a long term plan for your account that will work for you to perform well in content tomorrow, if not today. It’s not about reflexes or putting in tons of effort (though you certainly can try hard and see some results). I think it’s a really fresh way to play a game and I plan to stick with it for at least a season, maybe longer, but I can see that it’s not for everyone
personally i think arena tries with diamond are very worth it for the extra gold and books you get, that after 240 will convert in levels for your heroes anyway, so i always do all 10 tries everyday
Another tip on equipment... yes, prioritize for the units you use the most... but also, you'll want to micromanage it as well. Tanks... prioritize the equipment that gives them hp, and defensive buffs (phys res, mag res, yadda yadda). DPS... prioritize the equipment that increases their attack, and attack buffs (crit, crit dmg, attack speed, yadda yadda).
I also just joined a random guild and we are the no 2 guild on the server. We used to be pretty competitive with the no 1 guild, until they started kicking their lowest power players to replace them with player with higher power. We have only kicked people who were inactive and we are still thriving
It’s funny because I never use Brutus or Lucius in AFK Arena but here they’re a staple in teams. Not a big fan of Atundra since I play on auto and she tends to use her ultimate in bad places where only a few enemies are attacking her, and she can still die while casting it. My staple is Lucius for shields, Rowan for energy boost, Huwen for heals, and then swapping out the 2 DPS based on the enemies.
Then sometimes Lucius only shields the 1 lowest health Range DPS at the backline. And Brutus just spinning and only effectively hitting 1 target, coz his AOE is just 1 tile wide.

you get one copy of every single character in game by logging in, it s gonna take a few months to get all of them, but you could get scarlita by week4. every 4th week you get one of the 4 celestial/hypogean units
i played both and i think this one is much better. looks better, the lower rarity units are actually really strong in this game and it seems the f2p experience is quite nice.
Calling a toxic heyena a good boy ... Sorry don't max Reiner step by step. It will take you months. If ther comes another Hypogean unit or something chances youj are stuck on Reiner or you lose all you investment. Get maybee one copy and then wait until you can get him to mythic+.

Got my Brutus to Supreme + and I don't regret it prob my favorite character in the game excited for his new skin

No 1 guild is for top player, you low in power you will effect the guild. Lower player is not for top guild.
I think it's worth mentioning that most of the good early-game characters are in the Mauler faction

Lucius shield is unreliable as well
Went AFK today for over an hour, cleared almost 200 levels

So, the only thing I strongly dislike about this game is that to level up the iron spell artifact. It locked behind multiplayer as far as I can tell.
