As a single woman from Ireland, I’ve taken on the incredible challenge of renovating a 200-year-old abandoned cottage, and it’s been full of surprises! In this video, I continue my DIY renovation and journey to starting my own homestead. Today, literally everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Nothing major, and it was mostly funny in the end, but it was just one of those when it rains it pours days!

Morrigan's Cottage is a 200 year old traditional stone cottage set in the west of Ireland on just under 4 acres. Originally this house would have been used by the local farmers, rented from their British landlords. Dated back to at least the early 1800s, someone has been consistently living here and farming this land since then, up until about 4 years ago when the house was left vacant by the previous owners.
