Good collection especially killing time & fmv games 3DO At the time, this console produced very special and complex games that are still attractive after all this time
Did you know that Total Eclipse was ported from the 3DO to PlayStation, but because it was programmed to utilise all the processing power available (quite an old school idea even for then) it ran so fast on the PS1 that it was practically unplayable? The 3DO processor had a 25Mhz clock rate vs the PS1's 34Mhz. The real kicker is that instead of doing something about it, they simply renamed it Total Eclipse "Turbo," and released it anyway!
Yup. Several 3DO games did that.
I got good use out of my 3DO. Overpaid for it upon release but i definitely got my money's worth, played it until my Goldstar gave its last breath about 10 years ago

You can get them recapped, use a Wii power supply and if the CD drive has failed, take the opportunity to use a disk emulator, so all your games can be stored on a USB or SD card with instant loading. There's also mods for video out, and bluetooth controllers.
imagine being a dumb ass paying for such a relic when there is free emulation. ;)

I loved Star Control 2 on the 3DO. Played the heck out of it!
Yep, I finished Star Control 2 on the 3do. That game, Wing Commander 3, Immercenary, and Need for Speed were my favorites.
Star Control 2 is so much better than a lot of these games, I’m always surprised when it’s not in someone’s top 5

I didn't get to play this system until I was an adult. I wasn't impressed with the console!!!

Ah it wasn't that bad.
My best friend owned a 3do. We'd play it quite a bit when we were tired of the games we had on PlayStation.
His dad bought it after the price drop, I think he paid $100 iirc
It's a shame. I guess Sony just did it better though.
I splashed out on the FZ-10 model first, as was a massive PlayStation 1 fanboi, but still wanted some games that weren't on PS1.
id love too see a tips and tricks video on how too beat oregon trail for dos maybe its just me but yeah
I'm afraid to say I won't be covering material such as that for now anyways.

By far the best fps game on the 3do is either killing time or escape from monster Manor !!!

I had Killing Time, but it was so laggy and only had the bad ending.. you couldn't get to fight Tess or see the good ending until the PC version.
You should do a top 40 for ps3 or something like that?

Notice how it was on 3DO and DOS, yet nobody has done a complete playthrough of it on UA-cam. I wonder if anyone had ever finished it!?
