I never had a 3DO. I once saw one in a store playing the jeep segment from the Jurassic Park game, but that was my only experience with a real console. I've since tried some of the games through emulation and I have to say I'm not that impressed. The 3DO was hyped as a super-powerful machine, but many of the games look fairly primitive, even by 1993 standards. Some of them don't even look finished. Like they were a beta versions that were meant to be polished up, but then they sent them to the publisher by mistake. It's not just me looking at the games through modern eyes either, because this typically doesn't happen when I look at games for even older systems, even when I have no nostalgia for them. I have to admit though, that I spent a bit of time with Immercenary. I quickly got frustrated and bored with the actual game and started losing intentionally, just to see all the different video clips of the cute, bicthy redhead. :)
Some of those games on your list I think are shit games that I don't like. I've played most of the 3dos library and ik there definitely wasn't a lot of good games on the 3do . A lot of fighting games weren't good there was only 2 really good shooting games on the 3do and the 3 platformer games that they made i thought gex was the only one that was worth while. And racing games there's only two good ones the other ones weren't very good.
@@LanceBoyle-z2g no I hate it because the system sucked most of the games on the system were not good it was very few good games except for return fire 1 and 2 and lucian's quest for Saturday it was so expensive I never got to play road rush and I thought that escape from monster manor and killing time were good but that was about it for good game. A console needs good games and it didn't have that many good games on the console . The Wii had a lot of junk on the system as well but way better of a console then the pansonic 3do.

Seems like the 3do mostly catered to darker games it's also trying to be a pc and or better version of sega cd
