Hopefully you'll do a part 2 and include Duke Nukem 3D, Exhumed, Wipeout 2097, all excellent on the Saturn and the two FPS better than the same game on PS1.

You should compare Duke Nukem. The Saturn version destroys the PS1 version. Pros and cons to both systems but essentially gameplay is king

Dreamcast is similar to neo geo an arcade board with console features at home!😊 Thats why some people can play arcade ports using dreamcast.

Such great ports and in the case of Cotton, even better that the arcade in my opinion. Great side by side comparison. I did notice that, other than the obvious resolution difference, that some of the games ran at a very slightly different speed. There were also other variations, such as Final Fight not allowing as many enemies on screen at the same time making it very similar to to the Mega/Sega CD version. I think the version that looked the weakest was Alien Syndrome. It looks a bit squashed and the colour palette is more noticeably different. Nearly of of these differences probably would be virtually unnoticeable without the side by side comparison.

Hi Jamie, loving all these emulation videos,I would love your opinion on my dilemma. I am looking to setup 2 front ends one for the old arcade and up to 1b/32 bit and the second for the more powerful modern consoles and Pc gaming, which 2 would you recommend , I was going to set them up on a single PC but if needed I do have a 2nd PC I can use for the older stuff.

You used the PAL versions from the games? PSX it's better, better handle at shading and dithering processing, better resolutions, transparencies, better effects and color handler. While in Saturn struggles on every aspect.

I would like an innovation where games could be recoloured (so some games aren't so monochrome) and the colour bleed does not happen when the sprites overlap. I hope AI image processing could help someway.

I have a question regarding the Pinball Score display : I am using a unique Vertical display but on most Pinball, the display of the digital scoring is too small ... Is there a way to increase the size of the Score display on my type of setup ???

Apart from slight resolution differences, the X68k is almost identical to the Arcade versions of the games. In my opinion, Cotton looks better on the X68k. I have a TrimUI Smart Pro running the Crossmix OS on it and have the X68k as one of the emulators and the games here run great on it. Ever since I first heard about the system, I've been fascinated by it but certainly don't want to be spending the thousands of Aussie dollars to purchase one so being able to emulate it is awesome. Your guide especially has helped me to no end in getting it up and running on my pc so thankyou for all the work you put into your guides. Your channel is truly underrated.

installed it on my nice acer swift 3 installed fine did an update and then the internal wifi adapter stopped i am presuming the wifi/Bluetooth adapter needs an update

It´s not surprise most part of the games shared on both machines usually look better on DC. In this comparison the only one losing on DC is Going Quackers, because the PS2 version was built from the beggining for this machine and it has even their own levels. DC version is using as base the same N64/Windows version, and this is why it looks more blocky, but it uses the Rayman 2 Engine, so this is why looks better than the regular 32/64 bit port, but not as good as the PS2 version. Also, that one could had run on DC without any issue, It doesnt show nothing DC couldn´t do or handle.

How easy is this Emulator to be added to to launch box?

Revisiting this has anythung changed in Retrobat that would stop the artwork appearing at these locations? This doesnt auto use the images on my setup. I have to manually add them for each game. The find local images is set correct and image files are in identical folders. Nothing appears.
