Exactly 5 miles from out house, so a place I know well but never been inside the church before, which did look nice. Been a while since I was in the George and Dragon and both pubs always had a good rep for food, so I would have saved the pot noodle. Never been in (what used to be called Burtree Caravans), for food before but that breakfast looked top notch, cheers Alan
We used to live in School Aycliffe, not too far away, used to like the Cumby Arms when that was open also - You're right I should have gone to one of the pubs for tea, with. the change of plans with Rachel, I had decided not to go back out but in hind sight, it would have been a good idea, especially if the food is like it used to be! I’ve had some interesting sat nav journeys as well best of which was near Pitlochry where I needed up going through a game estate on unmade roads and was looking out for game keeper 😂😂 looks a lovely location and very peaceful but just the thing for a break away all the best to you all Daniel

Thirty odd years ago we stayed in our caravan at John and Marjorie Spinks farm, the highest place in Heighington and were parked adjacent to the characterful crew yard.
Note on sat nav's using post codes. Post codes were implemented by Royal Mail and are based on most efficient "Postman / woman WALKING routes" for mail deliveries to individual addresses. They will sometines use pedestrian "cut thoughs" on housing estates.
Happy new year Malcolm - I’m not sure why I followed the sat nav as I knew it was down hill, I just thought it had found a short cut, but with there being only a few properties I wonder if it had a number of different routes in. Not the first time it’s caught me out! All the best, David & Rachel 👍

I'd snow foam my van if it's dirty then use Autoglym ceramic shampoo wash. Hope you are well. Do u think u may come to Norfolk broads this year. There's a Heighington in Lincolnshire too (although it's pronounced"Hay-ington"). Make sure you get the right one! 😂
