The "finish the story" was Roman's idea that he gave to Cody at backstage before they cutting the promo for Wrestlemania last year. At that time Cody did stated he didn't want to talk about his father, but Roman took it up since he did have very good relation with his father. So in the promo Roman did a Dusty impression and discussed his relationship with the late "American Dream" including conversations where Cody wasn't mentioned. Thats how their whole rivalry saga began and Cody will finish the story by getting a title for his family and to honor his father.
The hell even is Cody's story?😂 He was stardust before he left wwe. & returned to wwe in 2022 against seth at wrestlemania (april), then got injured 2 months later (june). Returns at the royal rumble 2023 January , meaning he only wrestled for 2 months in WWE & all of sudden this guy has a story? 😂😂He somehow sold his fans, that his got a story loool, not only did the fans buy into this "story" they also believe cody carried wwe for 2 years😂which 2 years? Coz Drew Mcyintyre carried 2020 - 2022. Cody only wrestled 2 months in 2022. Cody might have carried 2023, by losing to reigns, lesnar & squashing judgment day members 10-20 × over each. & 2024 just started, of which they were saying cody carried wwe for 2 years at january, which at the time was only just 1 year😂just 2023.
