November and December are bad months to look for professional jobs; there are less interviews done during these 2 months. Most companies are on hold in hiring until after the New Year. Canadian economy is tied closely with US economy. US is not doing well. Some said that it is already in recession. Both Amazon and FedEx are laying workers in the midst of Christmas season. In conclusion, timing matters if you are looking for work with PGWP.

Hi Rachel, nicely explained video. I have a similar case to this I started my degree at DLI-approved university in Oct 2019. I attended my first sem which was from Oct 2019 to Dec 2019. Then I took a drop in my second sem due to my health issue and I moved back to my home country then again I took 2 more sem drops. that means from Jan 2020 to Sep 2020 I took a total of 3 drops. During that time I got an operation and was on recovering stage at that time Covid-19 also came. and with the introduction of the new policy of studying online, I started taking online classes from Oct 2020 till June 2022 then at the end of June I came back to Canada. And started on-campus classes in July 2022 to till the completion of my degree in April 2023. So basically after 3 drops, I studied continuously. And now I am going to apply for my PGWP and someone told me you have fewer chances and all.... and suggested me to attach LOE (Letter of Explanation) along with it. And I am so confused about what to do and how. Can you help me with it? Awaiting for your response soon.

I started a 2-year diploma course in September 2023. I’ve completed 4 semesters so far, and I will finish my studies this December, making it a total of 5 semesters (16 months).
3 Full Time Student and 2 Part Time.
    • In the September term, I took 5 subjects (15 credits) as a full-time student.
    • In the January term, I took 5 subjects (15 credits) as a full-time student.
    • In the Spring-Short term (May-June), I took 1 subject (3 credits) part-time.
    • In the Spring-Long term (May-August), I took 2 subjects (6 credits) part-time.
    • In September 2024, I plan to take 7 subjects (21 credits) as a full-time student.
Will I be eligible for a 3-year PGWP, or could it be less?

    Hi
I’ve been refused once and after that I applied for study permit again, IRCC asked for first year tuition fee so I paid and provided the documents. It’s been 5 months but there is no news, I also sent a reminder email that my may semester is coming up 🥲 still nothing. I’m stressing out and I really don’t know what to do

    Hi! PLS HELP, URGENT
Is there anybody who has faced a case of refusal of pgwp after a 2 year course? I applied online in June 2022 and got my refusal yesterday. It said that they needed the official sealed transcript which I could not submit online.
My study permit has expired in august, 2022 and my course ended in June, 2022.
    I do have a visitor’s (tourist) visa till 2025.
Do you have any idea how could I go about it? Can I flagpole for a quick decision with the official transcript or would that be risky?
    THANKS!

    Hi
can we change the course and instituition after coming to canada?
If yes, will there be any difficulty in getting PGWP?

    • @rrdancel
      @rrdancel  2 роки тому +1

Yes you can! As long as you have the letter of acceptance from the new school, you can inform IRCC about the DLI change using this link: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools/account.html
Doesn’t impact your study permit as long as you inform them 😊
