Hi Rachel, I just got the result of my application today and it was refused. I'm both sad and glad. Glad because I finally have the results for over a month of waiting and overthinking. Sad because I'm starting to question myself if this path is really meant for me because of the refusal.

Also if you came from a poor or developed country, they might refuse your application because of limited career opportunities. You have to address that problem by explaining how it also encourages new businesses and projects for example. Another tip is to super focus on your letter of explanation how this degree will have a significant impact on your income and progress back home. Dont waste your time and their's by talking too much about your childhood or dreams they dont care.

For anyone watching this video, Just to let you know, Even the brightest students who had exceptional grades got their visas refused in the 1st attempt, when applied for gcms note it said low academic background 😵‍💫🤦‍♂️, its a very generic statement, So gcms/Caips notes are of not much help, ypu cqn apply for it if it comforts, also there is an involvement with a AI software called Chinook which filters the profile prior to verification by an IRCC officer. So to be honest its all about good luck on your end and to be genuine in your SOP.

this literally happen this morning , got refused and the reason made me laugh so hard, i don't have a gap in studies, my previous studies is linked to my future studies in canada, financial proofs are there, return to canada after studies that's the point i focused most on and i even put a promise of employment from our family company and no one is coming with me to canada and all of the questions in your video is easily answerable with proof, every word in the SoP is with a joint proof and it i tried to cover everything and check and double check for mistakes, every stop was due calculated and still they refused me they say that they don't think the infomations i submitted is for a temporary visa (what a reason xD), i guess visa officer sometimes refuse without a logical explanation anywasy im gonna get the GCMS notes and then try again. but it is very triggering esp when you calculate every move and every detail matters and you do everything textbook style and still get rejected but we try again for the eyes of the visa officer. the one holding the door for ur future.

Submitted on October 26 and gave bio metrics on Oct 31,2022. And got approved on Dec 19...I still go back to check if it still approved hahaha...u will make it next time pal..

@@ekeneprecious and @logic and Reason guess what =D i got refused again and this time IRCC created new family members for me in Canada and said that i have ties with them, a very logical refusal reason right ? thank you IRCC for finding out that i have lost family members that i have never ever heard of them and on top of that they stated the old reason that the documents provided are not for a temporary stay despite having an employemt letter and despite already paid the first tuiton fee and i added the reciept and despite making a much higher quality LoE attacking the refusal reason which was unlogical and i guess they upped the game by giving me the same reason with another new one they created new family members for me in Canada, you told me they want new immigrants ? lol..well played by them.

Also do international students have to pay taxes for paid internship / part time work or file any tax returns? Not much videos on the same and the website is a but confusing.

You were mentioning that 1 year program is not really good idea cuz there is not enough time for pr basically. I have seen in official websites that in the case of two year program you might be eligible for two year of pgwp but it says in the website its not a guarantee( well its says u might be eligible so not sure ) i was wondering if there is anyone who is in this status that you know?

Try not to have a big gap (max 3 yr) between your studies. In your SOP (statement of purpose), you can use your electronic repair background to justify why you want to further your education in this area. In Canada, repairman would perform diagnostics to pin point a problem; then they just replace the whole electronic board after providing the client a quote for the repair.
