    Wow, I remembered the first VSR-10 build you did. Based most of the upgrades I did on my own VSR-10 in that first build you did. Glad to see you're continuing these vids. Keep them up they helped a lot when I started upgrading and purchasing a few parts.

    A little tip to remove the play in the maple leaf type b it to use the packaging it came in to make a thin strip and then take the guide rings out pop that in and then put the glide rings back on over it and it get rid of about 80 - 90% of the wobble did it on mine and it works great I've tried replacing them with a set of tm ones but the grove they fit in is slightly bigger so it still wobbles around

    May I also suggest a Reliku VSR R receiver. A guy named Reliku on Facebook makes them. It's a one piece receiver and outer barrel combo which eliminates outer barrel wobble. There is also a full cylinder cylinder glide ring that it supplied with it, this covered the entire cylinder. I would give it a look

      You also forgot to note that the action army receiver has removable nuts for the stock screws. This is a definite bonus as these can often strip and being replacable is great

      Hi there, I totally understand your frustration, AA released these receivers with that screw nut piece being a replaceable part but then never released them to the public! at least not to my knowledge. Best bet would be to get in contact directly with Action Army via their email address: actionarmy.tw@gmail.com let us know how you get on my friend ^^

      @@AirsoftAfterHoursAh, good. I’m building a VSR-10 entirely from parts, and I have an Action Army fluted cylinder. Hopefully that will fit better than the teflon coated one you used.

      @@FS2K4Pilot I just had a quick look at one of my builds with the Action Army twisted/fluted cylinder, its a tiny bit loose, check out the comments in this comment section, a viewer has a good tip on how to make the cylinder and ML rings a better fit, IIRC it involves either a plastic sleeve or manipulating the rings somehow. have fun dude! ^^

    Those action army receiver works for any vsr clone?

    • @AirsoftAfterHours
      @AirsoftAfterHours  2 роки тому +1

      Depends on the clone, as each cloned VSR has differences in different areas. Some will no longer fit the cloned barrel, while others will fit but then have spacing issues due to tolerance differences, some will not accept the cloned hop up unit thus forcing you to upgrade it and then have fitment issues with the new barrel.
      Some will be a straight swap with zero issues. All depends which clone you have and which company made your clone at which point in time as they are forever changing without notice. 🙂

    What cylinder do you recommend?

    • @AirsoftAfterHours
      @AirsoftAfterHours  4 роки тому

      Denver Gonazales
      I would suggest going with the cylinder that suits your budget, the Action Army Teflon cylinders have been fantastic for me, but if I wanted to spend a lot more money I would have gone with PDI and all parts that are compatible with the PDI unit 🙂

    • @Learning_disability

      @AirsoftAfterHours  4 роки тому

      Denver Gonazales
      Your build should be good! The results you will be getting should be consistent I believe. I’m my opinion, PDI has the best quality, but the problem is many of its parts are only compatible with other PDI parts (not all but some). Which means you will be spending a fortune to get everything the same brand. The “best” is subjective, if you can make a rifle that is consistent and accurate to a good range with parts that cost less and lasts long then technically that would be the best as it costs less to build and would be cheaper to repair. Hope this helps 🙂
      I’ve never tried EDGI parts iirc
