Hated everyone's videos about making a washer game. So much so I was about to make my own video thinking I could do it better myself. Then I found this video. I don't think anyone couldn't of done it better. Edited to minimize the B.S. Also assembled to perfection. The only thing I'm not sold on are the L brackets. Not a horrible idea. Just not sure they wouldn't interfere with the natural fall of the washers. Like the idea of cutting a piece of plywood to snuggle fit inside the pvc pipe better. Otherwise killer set up. We'll done my dude.
Glad you liked the video. So far no issues with the L brackets. A plywood disc in the tube would work good too. Less hardware to buy.
Just out of curiosity with 16” squared 3/4 plywood and your 14 and half inches 2x4’s. Would the inside diameter of your boxes be 13” squared?
correct
you did a very good job showing how it's done thanks
Hay my friend. You knocked this vid out of da park. Do you have 1 on making a corn hole game as well. If not please consider making one.
Corn hole is on my list. Glad you liked my video.
Seriously, though, why DO they make it so damn hard to get the tops off of spray paint cans!?!?!?!?
LOL, I know, right. They should switch to a top like spray sunscreen where you just twist then spray. The larger button would also mean less paint on my finger.
Thank you for getting me off the mitered corner boxes. I tried it and it's a pain!
Yup,mitered corners take so much longer to cut and assemble.
They sure do look better though. Worth the work, just in my opinion.
Adding sand to the boxes is a nice addition I believe. Makes it easier at short distances, but allows you to play at longer distances without the washers always bouncing out.
Yes, sand does make a big difference in reducing bounce out.
What did you use to mark the center of 2x4s before you drilled the screws in?
I used a marking gauge similar to this one: amzn.to/36mX9Za
My opinion.... The 2x4 frames are to tall - you can't see the pvc ring. Nice simple build though. Thanks for the video Sir
The camera angle towards the end of the video was really low so you can't see the pipe. However when standing you can see the pipes no problem. The pvc pipe is just shorter that the sides so they stack when storing. Thanks for watching.
Too tall? I actually thought they were a bit short, i prefer 2×6 prevents rings from bouncing out so much even with sand, i had both sizes, anything smaller than 2×4 would be wayyy too short lol
Awesome
The snow is gone. time to get out the washer boxes
You the best
thanks 😊
Great simple game!
Hi Jolien, Thanks for watching. You make some great toys on your channel.
Can you use 2x6
Sure if that is what you have go for it. You will still have fun playing with boxes made from 2x6s.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Nice job, thanks for the effort
Thanks Eric.
You never gave the measurements of the 2 by 4s
Huh! I must have missed that. The 2x4s are 14.5 inches in length. Have fun building...and playing the game.
At 28 seconds.
Very simple - awesome.
Thanks!
What size are the washers?
2.5" washers. Here's an affiliate link if your interested in buying prepainted washers amzn.to/2T22MqK
Thanks for the reply sir! Nice job on the build
@@ryankoehler3170 Thanks Ryan. Have fun playing washer toss this summer.
Do you sell those?
I took pre-orders a few years ago and sold a bunch of sets.
If you ever gonna sell em again, i am interested in buying a set
