Love the basic Origins Ninjor action figure would love to see the Jitsu belt on him just like in Classics and again for Mega Construx and hope to see basic Origins Clamp Champ, Fisto and Jitsu. Thanks and stay safe and healthy Pixel Dan:)
This is an impressive effort from Mattel. Not just relying on adult fans and collectors. The play value looks amazing too.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't reuse the Classics Castle Grayskull for any of these lines!
@@XFactorz17 It might end up a build a Grayskull. Main facade sold separately from right and left side. One side being Point Dread and the other being a Filmation inspired portal room or hall of wisdom / weapons.
I am hype for this line of toy from Mattel I just purchase the Sky Sled with Prince Adam from Walmart the shelf's are empty and have been to five different Walmart but very excited for my purchase.
Of course, but us adults are whats going to pretty much decide the fate of these new lines. I don't wanna see this whimper out the way the 2000's line did.

Really hope we see all these figures in all retail stores, especially online ones like BBTS, because I know that is the only way a lot of people ( outside the US mainly ) can get some toys, cost a bit more with the shipping and TAX but is way better than paying 60dlls to an effing scalper for just 1 figure.
Looking forward to all this new life being breathed into Masters. I was a die hard He-Man fan as a kid, and my two sons love it now.

I actually caught the Origins panel this weekend. I just want to back up what you said and say that it was very fun and totally worth checking out when it's available. You did a great job moderating it as well. I was very happy with the new reveals. One of my biggest takeaways was just how passionate the entire team is about this toy line and property in general. Knowing how excited they are, it's hard to not be excited yourself.
god I love that they're rereleasing all these! I missed out on MOTU as a kid. I got into collecting right at the end of it. Started with Ghostbusters and TMNT. Now I get to experience it "again". I like that they are releasing them over time so we can budget and printing enough so we have a fair chance!
I'll reserve my excitement for when we start actually seeing toys on pegs and not just empty walls of where they should be.

All the good and bad vehicles seemed He-Man or Skeletor centric based on the box art. I think only Fisto and Jitsu were allowed rides.

Thanks for your work on this. It was a great panel. I’m so used to Hasbro Star Wars panels and wow Mattel MOTU definitely showed them how it should be done. I’m really happy with the reveals.

Oh the Tri-Klops vest will definitely fit. I have done volumetric studies on the Origins bodies and they are -Almost- fully compatible with MOTUC proportion wise.
Love the idea of bringing in the new 7” revelations/classics line. Hope to see a lot more re releases of classics figures. Who wouldn’t want an extra Fisto, scareglow, Stinkor shoot the list goes on and on.

I am personally am excited for all of these masters of the universe Origins figures so very much. I never grew up with the classic 80's He-Man TV show and only grew up with the 200X Ver. but having recently revisited the 80's TV Show fills me with massive excitement and for me to buy a toy line that was even before my time. and also thank you very much because in general your reviews on the Origins figures basically sold me on this toy line to begin with

If Masterverse is a catch all for He-Man eras then I would like to see a Filmation Ram-Man as Super7 got the rug pulled out from under them and so did the fans of the original cartoon.
Super7 did a barely passable job and refused to get off the rug.

Why would they? Thundercats was LJN and later Bandai. Does Mattel own Thundercats now?
@@ChrisNerd77 Mattel had the license and produced toys for the online collector market. It was cancelled. Super 7 is re-releasing those toys.

With that and Roboto, we're now only one figure away from them releasing everything I had as a kid (my collection was pretty small). I'm so excited to get all of these, and it's nice to know my not freaking out about getting them right away will pay off.

Probably a separate moving disk piece inside the torso for Roboto that allow for the swapping of torso and waist.

I attended one myself and I’ll be honest as a casual collector I’ve always seen your videos around power-con and so on and found them really interesting so yeah fact fans from all over could attend is fantastic - maybe after the s***-show that is 2020 passes, a live stream such as this during panels could be a great way to bring in fans that can’t quite get out to the conventions (based in the UK as an FYI)

Just got back from my Walmart in Austin and they had an entire endcap of figures plus 6 or 8 pegs. The stocker said they went up last night. About 1/3 were sold already. I got the last battle cat plus one of each figure. They didn't have any sky sleds. But she said they'll likely get more.
The endcap was not pegs, it was a 2 part cardboard display. So all the figures were unpunched, but each had a dinged corner . I doubt my Walmart is the only one with the display so you might all check back and hopefully your stores will get them too.
Scalpers suck.
Will the price be different come 2021 once it opens up to all retailers. Thank you.

Great info Dan - I LOVE that the Landshark is coming back, that was my one and only MOTU vehicle back in the day and also the Battle Damage Skeletor was my sole Skeletor I owned. I really hope they do Thunder Punch He-Man now, complete with a translucent yellow sword - he was my very first action figure ever. It's just so cool to find this stuff in a store like back in the day.
Sucks you cant get them when scalpers buying them up and reselling them on Ebay

Congratulations on the channel, I'm a fan of the MOTU universe, I can't wait to have the new characters. I hope they come to Brazil. But just knowing that they will be sold in other stores, this is already good news.
The first ones I had, in the 80's, were bootlegs, at that time imports were forbidden here. When Estrela, a national manufacturer, started producing with Mattel's authorization, the children's dream came true.
Dan, So I watched the panel but they didnt explain the difference between con exclusive she-ra and the mass release she-ra. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS? If it's just card back I'm cancelling my preorder as I open everything and I'm not paying double price for card back that I wont keep.
Do you think Masterverse will be shown at nycc or nytf? Also do you think we'll have to wait until Netflix shows the designs in like a trailer or something?
Also of note: my local Wal-Marts (NE TN) just did their resets this week, but the product won't arrive until a week or so from now... and one Wal-Mart doesn't seem to have a spot for them at all. Still, with availability opening up, as you said, I'm not too worried about it.

Are we ever going to actually get to buy these? Still can't find a single MOTU fig on Walmart's website or in stores, just like I can't ever find the MOTU Mega Construx. It's like Walmart and Mattel are trying to avoid selling too many of them.

I missed out on Classics. Super7's releases somehow passed me by. So I'll have to pay attention to these Masterverse figures.
I actually liked the 12" fashion doll She-Ra but never had a chance to find the released friends. Plus they were better displays than play toys. It was cool that Adora and She-Ra were different heights.
The Target exclusive Keldor is an ideal figure for use to make my own custom realistic version of Filmation Skeletor, using his alternate head.

Definitely looking forward to the Masterverse line, hoping it keeps with the high detail of Classics. My local walmart has about a dozen MOTU pegs on the wall but they're all empty, so I guess they're doing the fall reset and will hopefully be putting product out soon.
Talked of bunch of trash about not being able to get them, finally got my sons a He-man Skeletor each. They were the only characters available. I’m all in and I made sure to leave one for the next guy! Really cool info on this video
Hey dan, I remember you being bummed that the Super7 MOTU vintage line potentially ended, but there’s this guy called Eternal Customs, and he makes custom parts for MOTU figures, including filmation heads for vintage figures. So if you wanted to make, say, a filmation Tri-Klops, you would take the vintage figure’s armor, paint over the orange, 3D print the head, paint it, attach it to a Super7 He-Man body, boom! Tri-Klops! I just thought I’d let you know.
It was fun to experience this in real time, though it would have been nice to see you and Stina again in person (and everyone else, naturally).
The skeletor head in the caldor ,cronos 2 pack alone is worth the price, it's what I imagine when I think of skeletor, the definitive skeletor. Just amazing head sculpt. Hope cronos has the trap jaw head sculpt within the 2pack. That would be a bummer if not ,but still will get it just for the skeletor head.
I really want to hear more about the show and 7 inch line do I can decide which to invest in if not both... to be honest though I really preferred the lords of power for the vintage heads but newer bodies... I hope we can possibly see the vintage head swaps in retail- then I’d definitely buy origins!

I managed to snag the first wave of MOTU Origins off the pegs at Walmart but finding Beastman took some serious hunting
I just wonder if the wave 1 Walmart exclusives will be different than the reissue wave 1 come 2021. Will they say new for 21? Instead of 20. If so the Walmart exclusives will be way more sought after.
I am glad that MOTU Origins line it put in to walmart and at a price i can afford being on a budget. I did really was not to driven to get the Classic line because they costed too much and they never had them in my local stores so if you ask me out of the newer MOTU toys i hope they keep the Origins line going and make playsets as well for them. It would be nice to have stores cut down on the scalpers too because that makes it hard for collectors like me who can afford to pre order or just pick them up easy.

Is the land shark picture just a place holder? Because it looks exactly same size as the original, not “bigger”, unless it’s something like 3%.
Dan, I'm pretty sure that they said Panthor's box would feel like it was flocked not that it actually is flocked. There is a printing finish that feels sort of rubbery and sort of fuzzy at the same time (the most common use I can think of if hardcover dust jackets so that they're not slick) I have a feeling that's what they're doing. As for Greyskull, perhaps they're waiting for Masterverse and both lines would be able to use the same release.
Good to see the Motu origins line expanding, really can t wait to see all that are announced and more like wundar , faker even Vikor or Vykron. But having that new Multiverse 7” toy line is so cool., I truly hope it will succeed in joining the old fans that we are with new generations like young kids like you have Dan have as I do have (9 &4 years old here 2 boys). If they succeed in this this will be a success...

I noticed on the back of the land shark box art work they have Faker on a Rotton and I believe Triklops does that mean those figures are coming as well?
Hey Pixel Dan, why didn’t the mention the pre order that was available for Orko, Scareglow, Trap Jaw, and Man E Faces? Also I’m disappointed that’s they didn’t make a Stinkor. I wish they would.

KRYPTONITE SPIDER-BITE DYNAMITE I have a theory, since Stratos Triclops and Merman appeared in the wave 1 art work and they’re getting figures, It’s safe to assume we will be getting Stinkor Faker Fisto as well as castle grayskull
Stinkor was on Landshark box art plus they have the mer man mold..he's coming by Christmas 2021..you'll see
They'll probably make Stinkor eventually, it looks like they're going deep into the MOTU roster. Hopefully he stinks like the vintage toy did.
