To be fair, Taemin is one the rare Korean artists who could deliver such unisex vibe, a harmonious combination of both femininity and masculinity. This vibe I have seen a lot, but only been able to feel it from icons like Michael Jackson, Prince,... Taemin did not only showed me that he got the vibe but also pulled me in with him, made me move with his vibe and I was really able to feel that vibe and lived with that vibe for a moment. To me, that is absolutely a phenomenal talent🌹

The dance where you just look stupid unless you've mastered the technique. That choreography is not one you could just "wing-it" with.

I read an interview with Taemin that stated he looked up to Sia since she is known for breaking gender stereotypes. Influenced by Sia, he wanted to show that what's on the inside is more important than what's on the outside. Taemin chose this dance to break the stereotype of what girl groups and boy groups choreography should be like. He wanted to break those labels to show dance is a form of art. The choreography is made to look easy and fluid when it is actually harder than it looks. Also "Love" was supposed to be the title track but Taemin chose "Move" since he felt Love wouldn't have shown his identity the way he liked. He said he likes to experiment and push boundaries when it comes to his solo work. You've come so far Taemin, keep pushing boundaries and trying new things. We're all so proud of you and who you've become over the years as an amazing dancer and overall person. I got the pleasure to see for the first time in Canada with the rest of SHINee in March and it was surreal. I never thought I'd get to see you guys and after five years of being a shawol my wish came true. I hope I'll see you and SHINee again soon ☺️ Shawol forever 💎

as a former dancer i have to say that even after all these years, in terms of difficulty (and not limited to) the choreography for move is still staying at the higher bracket of the ranking. one needs to have very high body control to nail the basics of this choreography and taemin really nails it. it is truly made for him❤
