wow, i just got this installed today. its really amazing. i havent had this much fun since battlehawks 1942 back in the 80's. i played the original xwa but this.. its incredible. what a great meat and potatoes experience compared to squadrons. the feel and gameplay is 100% superb. thank you devs and modders. thank you. star wars lives!
I've never actually seen this game before and your work is blowing me away. It's beautiful, a true labour of love and a tribute to Star Wars, and I would love to watch this entire campaign. Thanks again, and you have a new subscriber!
It's amazing seeing all the mods STILL being produced for this fantastic game. I know it's a pipe dream, but I'd love to see someone figure out how to integrate external MFDs to handle the the targeting and message screens seen in game. A man can dream, can't he? LOL Seriously though, this is absolutely breathtaking.
Thank you. The plan is to do as much as possible and test it well. Recent changes to ddraw meant that we have to look for differences again and adapt the files to the latest version of ddraw. Something broke with animated lights, as always, we'll fix everything over time :-). For now, we are not thinking about the form of the release, now there are other things on the drawing table.
Thanks, that was lovely! The models look great, but I wonder if something can be done about the many times objects block the view on the line of fire? No way to use the gun screen for a holo/wireframe view-through?
Thank you. Everything depends on the angle of view, but in fact it is hard to velocity when the cannon covers the target. I think this is an advantage and a disadvantage of sitting in a gun turret :-). The setting of the screens still needs to be rethought.

We feel exactly the same. For so many years no one wanted to do it, so we do it for future generations and for ourselves :-).

One more thing, you can always disable hull items in player view :-)
