Hi Maria. Your written recipe includes 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, but I don’t see you mention it in the video. When should that be added? Or is that not needed?

Good catch, probably add it where it say “add all ingredients” , but I wonder if it needs it or she didn’t film adding it? PS: I just ordered my first bag of chocolate with your code, and I’m waiting to get it!

Update! I made this….it was so rich and delicious and amazing. I was a bit concerned when I put the scrambled egg bites in the blender because they smelled very eggy…but the end product was astonishingly good and it is a much softer textured ice cream. My new Summer Breakfast! Thank you!

Glad you mentioned that the macadamia nut milk is oxalate free! I MUST try that--BUT--chocolate and peanut butter are HIGH oxalate. However, lucky for me vanilla is my favorite flavor by far! GOing to try this!

A lot of people don't know that chocolate and peanuts are high in oxalates. I switched to strawberry for that reason. I wish there was a low oxolate cocoa. I wonder if the egg white flavor, which is strong, would come through though. I'm afraid to try it.

I do something crazy/original - I freeze lean meat into small cubes and I use them in my ice cream. Either raw meat or raw beef liver - you can't taste the beefiness and it makes a wonderful creamy texture. You could easily combine this method to make mouses/puddings, etc., as long as it's a strong flavor that covers up the beef flavor. The beef liver already has chocolate undertones (call me crazy), so it really lends itself. I'm not afraid of eating raw meat. I'm sure the freezing kills most bacteria anyway.

You're awesome. I just beat egg whites and blended ice in, and added vanilla. It tasted great. But I'm going to upgrade to yours. I love the idea of scrambling the egg whites and chilling them. That's fantastic, plus it felt slightly dangerous eating the egg whites raw the way I did it.

Hi. I don't pretend to know Maria's reasoning, but allulose seems to keep the end product soft where as the erythritol can create a crystalline texture in frozen goods. I haven't tried others but I have been pleased with allulose's performance. Hope this helps a bit.
