I used think redbar was a blatant hater. I’ve slowly realized he’s right about them all. I’m glad he’s providing some justice for the public

I was once a huge Bill Burr fan, and after seeing that podcast and this episode from Mike, Burr is now DEAD to me. The reason Mike grows on you is bc he's right about everything he says about the frauds he talks about. He only goes after those that deserve it.

Burr gave me douche chills on Theo's podcast, with his aggressiveness. I mean, a lot of his comedy theater is built of being aggressive, but it felt malicious on Von's show.

I follow burr loosely but I think mike Tyson put him in his place later on and it appears went to therapy and mellowed out since then. His comedy improved since then since he’s not a meaningless prick

I completely agree. All of these "ItS jUsT hOw BiLl Is!!!1!!11!!" comments are so annoying. I'm very familiar with Bill's comedy, and the way he treated Theo was not just his typical roasting and ball busting, he was so rude to Theo that I could barely stand to finish the podcast. Even if that was his regular comedy style and personality, that doesn't make him any less of an asshole. It's like a UA-camr lighting a car on fire and telling the police that it's just a prank for their channel, it's a piss poor excuse. I think a lot of the people defending Bill are doing so to justify their own shitty personalities because they see themselves in him. There's a fine line between ball busting and straight-up douchebaggery that a lot of Bill's fans are refusing to acknowledge.
I know I'm late but maybe they were disliking Bill's behavior? Not sure but this turned me off on Burr quite a bit. Disappointing, to say the least.

Bills whole special was just recycled material and lost alot of its "shock value" since everyone and there mother in the comedy world has covered all the ins and out of what he talked about. Still better then his last special but his new attitude has been very off putting.

Why was Bill offended not getting to plug literally few minutes into the show? I don't get it. He came off like a jerk. Because he plugs his guest's crap in the start of his podcast...he thinks this is standard on every podcast. It's not. Some will chat for a while and then try to segway into the plug like good hosts do not hacks. Then you have people like Adam Carolla who will talk to the guest about unrelated stuff most of the show and then bury their plug in between his own plugs which are a dozen. The show ends and you can't even remember their plug

Spot on. I started to notice this within the past couple years with Bill. He started to only show up on JRE when he had a special. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking that he was just probably super busy now and telling myself that “everybody does media row when they have something to promote.” But this recent stint really made me realize just how selfish he has been. Within 10 minutes of JRE, and within a few minutes of Theo, he wanted to get into his special. And he was a dick to Theo in general
I get it, Bill is getting older & doesn't want to do anything he doesn't really want to do. However, Bill should just say no & stay the fuck home with his layyydeeee if he knows he has no real interest in doing a show instead of being a miserable prick.

I have the same thing happen to me. Its hard to describe this is the first time ive seen it happen to someone else. Im pretty honest and confident in who i am, so i often tell my friends whats on my mind and whatnot. Some of these "friends" like to use it against me, perhaps because theyre not comfortable enough in their own skin and find power in looking down on others..
No maybe because Theo can roast people with the best of them but he gets nervous and isn’t himself he becomes this guy like he’s some bitch in therapy every interview instead of just throwing shit out
