  • You can do this instrument calibration at home if you have some basic tools and an Ohm Meter. The first step is to calibrate the gauge from low side of the scale to high side of the scale. Then check the mid range and tweek the adjustments if needed. I used an old fuel sender to get my 10 Ohm Value and 73 Ohm value. you can make one like this, or buy some resistors. If you purchase a new electronic instrument voltage limiter from RTE, I link to them below, it will come with a 10 Ohm resistor.

    The amp gauge is totally different inside than the fuel, oil pressure, and temperature. This video only covers fuel, oil, and temp gauges.
