Chno so cold this time . (Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg)

A short outing to a pair of munros in Lochaber near Fersit on a nice winter day. Walk starts from the hamlet of Fersit and takes an anticlockwise route over Stob Coire Sgriodain then over to Chno Dearg before returning to car. Conditions underfoot were icy with a cold chilling wind. The views were intermittent with the low cloud level . Footage was captured using go pro and drone devices. Done those two a number of times both in Summer and Winter. I remember doing ice axe braking drills on Sgriodain as part of my winter certificate back in the day when the courses were run out of the JSMTC centre at Tulloch. Glad you had some views whilst you were out. Thanks for sharing.

A cold one (or two) but at least it wasn't boggy, like in can be in warmer weather, I imagine. Excellent videography inspite of the cloud's best efforts otherwise. Thanks for uploading this video for 2 we've still to do. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏔👍

Thank you Theresa, yes mainly solo..blether to people on the hills but I've just got used to heading off alone usually at short notice so does not always suit others. And imho when you go out alone you tend to focus more on navigation more than following the leader. Thanks for reply and you take care out there too as you gain more confidence oot there. ATB Kenny 🙂
