thank you for looking at the video Andrew and taking time to feedback too, much appreciated. Here's hoping that the skies are clearer and the temperature is warmer on our next visits to the Fannichs. ATB Kenny
Hi Kenny what a great video! Full of information about routes etc which is really helpful for those of us planning trips. Shame you didn't get your summit camp after carrying all your gear but i'm sure it was the right decision under the circumstances. Better luck next time! Take care Kenny 😊
Thank you very much Theresa, thanks for viewing and taking time to feedback. Hopefully as you say next time, better weather and clear skies..You take care out there too. ATB Kenny
Sorry you didn't get your camp! I get paranoid about gas cannisters, pretty much a new one for each camp... couldn't stand the thought of not getting a cup of coffee and a hot meal. Fantastic hills in that area. Thanks for sharing 😊 ATB K & R
Cheers Kevin and Rebecca, hope you are both good. Yeah the empty gas was a mystery and a bummer, especially after carrying the extra weight and food 😔. Hopefully not happen again. ATB Kenny
Hi Kenny, such a shame, the great British summer weather strikes again. It looks like you made the right decision looking at the sky behind you on the bridge right near the end. It was still an enjoyable watch though mate. I'm out for a wild camp tomorrow, finger crossed I get better weather. Haha All the best mate Dave
Nice one Dave, thanks for watching and feedback too. I'll put it on the bucket list to go back up when the nights are longer and clearer and hopefully get some shots of the Aurora and bight sky. Hope you get some of the good weather that is being mentioned on the main news for your outing. ATB Kenny
thank you for watching and taking time to feedback too. I will go back there when the longer nights and clearer skies come return and hopefully catch some nice astral and aurora shots. ATB Kenny
Hi Ross, I've had some issues with it and still not slept overnight in it yet. Stitching at a pole ringlet came loose so had to add stitching to reinforce it there, and the other night one of the poles went straight through the pole sleeve rip stop fabric. Waiting to see if the seller will send it back as a warranty claim although he thinks that will be a no. Postives...size, weight, interior floor space and pack size. Negatives, dark inside, hard to get tension right on panels due to lack of guys/points, and quite a low profile inside. And of course the issues so far. Will post an update. Thanks for query and ATB Kenny
The pole going through the pole sleeve is a user issue, and it's really easy to get taught. I'm 6'2 and the head height is okay, especially if you're on your own because you don't need to sit on your air mattress if you're cooking etc
Another cracking video I love that area of the Highlands fantastic
