- We pushed right up against the boundary of 'getting another wild camp in this year' as we left the house on Dec 31st!! - Off we headed on well known bikepacking routes through Strath Ossian to Loch Ossian and Corrour station. It was another great winter adventure!

Great views and great pictures. Trips like that on key dates of the year are always special and evoke great memories when you reflect back on them! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Graham - It really was a fantastic couple of days out.... wishing I could get away from work just now and head back out!! - maybe soon... ATB
Merci ! Pour ce beau moment.
merci beaucoup, il faisait beau nous avons eu beaucoup de chance!
Another great video containing beautiful scenery, filmed in the great style I’ve come to really enjoy from you!
Thank you very much 👍
Cheers Tony!! Totally jammy again with the weather... I know the opposite is coming at some point.. 😂 it's inevitable
@@hikebikescotland9121 hah, yes, the inevitable never happens at the right time either... 🙂
Didn’t expect to see Figo doing a tour of Scotland on a mountain bike..Glad he is making the most of his retirement..😃..No joking aside stunning place thanks 💟👍
That did make me chuckle!!! 😂
Magic guys. What an adventure. 😎 I got cold just watching that. 🥶
Cheers Kev!! - Ready for some warmer weather now!! - its defo coming!
This was gorgeous! So inspiring!
Thanks Hugo!! Hopefully we'll be back out very soon!! Thanks again for your kind comments.. ATB
@@hikebikescotland9121 My pleasure!
You bring what no one else does, Scotland in winter . I was on the great north trail last June , it's more beautiful in winter . Thanks for a great video and happy new year to you both.
Thanks ascot! Actually not done this section in the summer but will surely get to see it at some point... Winter is great if a little harder... Worth it though... Happy new year to you as well.. would love to do the great north trail but would need to wait till I retire I think!! 😂
Lovely scenery, great sharing. Take care 👍
Thanks NHT! Likewise take care - ATB
Fantastic. Well jell.
Haha cheers Glenda we've been fairly jammy with the weather recently but I'll take it!!!
@@hikebikescotland9121 you’re quite right to get out when you can. I caught covid for the first time from a patient I attended on Christmas Day. It certainly does something nasty to your lungs.
Urrgghh sorry to hear that.. we got it in summer and I was stuck on the couch for a week... Worst illness I think I've ever had in my life and lingered on for at least a month.. hoping you make a full and speedy recovery!!
Hey It's Me your Nephew! Your Brother showed me your channel!
Hello woody!!! Great to hear from you!!! And don't believe everything your dad says about me!!! Some of its not even true!!! Hope you guys are enjoying your summer!!!
@@hikebikescotland9121 Sure thing Uncle!
Good video again! Thanks. This looks more doable than previous one ha ha. Love the area, been there many times with my bike too. I like to combine cycling with the train in there.
Yeah significantly more 'doable' than the previous trip!!! - lovely area isn't it? - first time there though for us so looking forward to seeing it in normal seasons!! - the train is a great idea and makes it more accessible even though it feels very remote.. ideal! - Looks like we will need to check out your channel as well!! looks interesting!
@@hikebikescotland9121 Beautiful area but be prepared as it's full of midges in summer.
haha actually going to come out and say that summer is my least favourite season for camping.... there I said it... cos of the wee blighters!!! - when planning weather forecasts for camps I usually just try to make sure theres no rain.. in the summer you have to add a wind 10mph+ (or so) to the requirement!!! making it a more difficult proposition!
@@hikebikescotland9121Exactly as you say:-]. Well there is quite a few bothies in that area too and they are usually not busy in weekdays. I am sure you heard about them. In a nice summer hot not windy day I quite like to enjoy the day on bike, perhaps have a swim in loch Ossian and then for the evening hide into Staoineag bothy for example which is not too far from there. I hate being shut in tent without the option to move around because of insect ha ha. But in bothy you have much more space to move around🙂
Stunning views, great edit, it reminds i need to go back to Scotland soon 😁
Cheers John... Get back, just dodge the rain and the midges... Everything else can be delt with 🤣
Wow day one was just stunning just shows you the contrast with a change in weather. Another fab film and Happy New Year.
Thanks Michele! We've definitely been lucky on the past couple of trips... As long as we stay dry it's a win in my book!!
Excellent. Really enjoyed. Atb gordon
Cheers Gordon!! - I'll be checking your channel out later looks good!!! - ATB Tom
