These guys have been a large part of the soundtrack of my life for 34 yrs. Seen them 20+ times in 5 different states over the years. Eaten dinner with them before shows, hung out with them after shows...backstage, tour bus. Lots of pics to prove it. Bottom line, these are 3 of the most talented, humble, approachable, "real", and genuine people you could ever hope to meet, especially in the music industry. Ty, dUg, Jerry...thank you for being who you are...and for being KING'S X!
Met them a couple of time when they came through NY area. Nicest people you’ll ever meet. Super talented and committed to their music and fans! One show Dug had a terrible cold that would’ve sidelined a lesser man. He just sang right through and put on a fantastic show.
@@careywestbrook9102I saw them with Morgan Cryar when I was 13 in Florida. I only learned three years agilo it was my favorite band! How am I sure it was these three? Because they were so cool, AND because that tall black bass player dude in black leather with spiked hair.... Walking around the venue during a break and talkin to everyone.
They just keep getting better. dUg's voice is in stellar form, and Ty is better than ever. The harmonies on Give it up are old school. Man I love this band
.....sad to say I can't agree about Ty; whatever health problems he's had, have DEFINITELY weakened his sustain (but, happens to a LOT of us after 60.....)
This shit is actually kind of cool. New songs, one with Ty singing lead and Jerry singing back up. Second time ever playing these songs live. Ty's tone! Exciting stuff! Long live the King's!
Yo Dave! How's it going? Hope the group over on FB is doing well. I had to get off that app and it's been a great year without it, but I still miss you guys. Well, most of you...
I am beginning to think that sometimes a band has to settle on who is the main singer. As cool as these songs are, it occurred to me that Dug sings his songs and Ty sings his songs... and with the fine margins of success... Dug has the better recognised lead vocals. There I have said it. Sonically the new songs do sound more like a band than XV did. I just wished Dug had sung All God's Children on the record and live.
Been following these guys since they started. The most underrated, tightest trio of musician on the planet. They kicked ass in the beginning and still till this day.
I keep hoping the world will wake up to this amazing band and finally give them the mainstream recognition they deserved to have 30 years ago. I keep hoping it will happen.
Well they finally made the charts. So the word is out. Hopefully it'll grow. Sad they can't tour more due to Ty's health issues. But what a power trio.
Someone just needs to give them all a BILLION dollars (each!) for their contribution to popular music. They could pay their debts. Get top flight medical care. Get what they deserve. I was introduced to their sound in '90, and it fundamentally changed the way I play guitar, for the better, thanks. If I had the money...
2:27. Love the reaction from Doug and Ty when the guy shouts "YEAH" in that dead stop. Like "that kind of worked" :). Also this song was worth waiting 14 years for!
X-greetings from Holland where I bought 2x tickets for nothing to see this incredible trio……..!!! This was unfortunately on Covid and after that Ty’s health. So we are still hoping here. Good luck King’s X!!!
So great to see these back with new music. One of the greatest Rock bands of all time. Cool bass solo at the end of "All God's Children". Doug finally got the memo over years and turned down his bass cabs. Back the day, the Sellersville theatre used to hand out earplugs to people at the front door because Dug's Ampeg cabs were so loud you felt your insides rattle. His new signature DP cabs sound great are are at a comfortable level. These guys are older now but still have the energy to do meet n greets after every show. They stay all night to make time for every fan who waits in line and are just awesome to everyone.
We were supposed to see them here in Europe for a few years now, and we had tickets for their Dutch gig in September, but unfortunately that's (yet again) cancelled. For understandable reasons, but I do so hope they get to cross the Atlantic at some point....
I've seen this band at least 10x over the years , they are my favorite. Got to meet them in KY, front row at several shows in various states and venues! I won't stop unless they do!
NOT a knock against them, but keep in mind that these guys are practically at retirement age. While most everyone else is sitting in their lazi boy recliner, watching jeopardy, and maybe going out for a short game of golf before taking an afternoon nap...these guys are touring heavily and playing some major shows! Incredible stamina and musicianship as always!
Love this band. Been a fan since catching Over My Head on MTV all those years ago. Kept me hooked ever since. First saw them live supporting AC/DC(!) in Birmingham, UK and have tried to catch them on every Tour here since then. They just cancelled dates but once they re-schedule, im there. God bless Kings X🤘🤘
Cannot wait to hear the studio version of All God's Children. The other two songs translated live really well. Dug's vocals are on point. All three sound great!
Best band ever. And I say it because they can legitimately claim title to it (or at least being among the very best bands ever). At 71 (72?), Dug is still rocking it.
I can’t wait until my 52 birthday I’m due to be getting this new King’s X album on vinyl! I’m sad that they can’t do the U.K. Tour in September (2022).
It is incredibly merciful of God to offer me escape from eternal punishment for sin after creating me enslaved to sin and unable to live a sinless life no matter how hard I might try. What compassion!
I have loved these guys since the start and I still don’t know how these three weirdos got together, looking totally disparate and completely unpretentious, and made the most original music. Every time I see them live I just can’t understand it, how is this just a three piece?
Great video! King’s X is one of the most amazing bands ever conceived! This new album is absolute brilliance, absolutely! Thank you for the incredible catalog throughout the years! Let’s Throw a Festival!

Great guys. I'm a sound engineer. Love them..Talk about making my job easy.cool people, great sound, can't ask for more.
same here, my whole life. They never disappoint
Me too (all you said) but that isn't Jerry in this video, is it?
@@dchmtl1 yea it is!
The most under-rated band ever! At 70, they still rock and choose to sing about things that unite us!
LOVE this band, but i thin they tie for 'most under rated' with The Tragically Hip ;)
dUg 72 and jerry and ty in their 60s holy crap! these guys are way up there in age and still rocking out! fucking awesome!
I’ve always loved King’s X from the very first time I heard them on the radio in the 1980’s. Thank you for the wonderful awesome music. ♥️
Wow! Lord, what a gift you gave this band. Love this band. Thanks for sharing.
They were Morgan Cryers band mid 80s... ( CCM artist 1980s)

Wouldn't change a thing!
That! How to tell an artist they should have made their work differently....? 🤔🙄😄
Ty is one of the best. He's a guru!

House's of The Holy !!!God that's like top shelf Zeppelin I'm listening too Here !!!
Thank you Kings X for keeping your original sound with your new music !!!!!!
After all these years, you guys still rock it, I thank the Lord for introducing me to your music.
Jerry "2 heart attacks will not stop him" Gaskill pounding the drums in perfect sync !!

God has them right where he wants them.
3 freedom loving rockers from Katy Texas telling the whole world to man the fu#k up and help somebody !!!!!
The new tunes are RIDICULOUS! Wow
Heaven bless Jerry, Ty and dUg. Whatever your 'religion', they are doing the Universe's work.
Ty’s tone is PERFECT.
THAT bass tone on Give it Up! Holy schnikers!
Beautiful. And Ty singing again - i hoped to see that day.
These guys aged quite good. Old rockstars these day try to look like old ladies, but these guys still look good. Oh and still rocks!
Man, I forgot about these guys - won't forget again.

And that's how it's always been... 🤟
How on earth can any band sound this clear on a phone recording? Still love the band. I started with Gretchen
New King's X? Live? Someone pinch me, I must be dreaming! The boys sound great, dUg's voice has improved...great seeing them touring again!
Still holding out hope I'll get to see them again. It's been years.
greatest band
Been a fan since 4, I'm 30 now. This is amazing to see and hear them still kicking so much ass! Love the new album!
I didn´t think the "Let it rain" chorus would sound as powerful live as it is in the studio. how wrong I was!! :D
Yeah tell me about it after I get up Off My Ass They knocked me on.... Help me Up for Christ sakes woe
If you don't already have it go get the new Kings x cd. It's AWESOME!!

All great tunes. But All God`s Children is to me, their most epic tune since Pleiades.
More like the Jelly Jam stuff or Ty's solo stuff.
@@joedecker8096 yea that sounds like a Jelly Jam song, I like it.
Aye, that song (in my opinion) is one of the best songs they've done in the past 20+ years. Goosebumps watching the accompanying video..
