The Relincath coming out alongside Incineroar ex is huge. Since Relincath allows you to use attacks from previous evolutions, you can also use Litten with Reprisal to do 20x damage for each damage counter on Incineroar (essentially you OHKO anything if you have at least 170 damage on Incineroar). There's also the Torracat that allows you to have a focus sash effect (only works if you're at full health), so it could be helpful for the late game Charizard matchup since you can just use Reprisal afterward to OHKO the Charizard.
Incineroar is not computer generated, it’s just digital art. Digital art is, in most cases, also handdrawn (many people use that term wrong when they actually mean traditional art).
Actually the Incineroar is cg art. It’s not a digital drawing. The Gengar though is a digital drawing.
Kinda wish the Tera wasn’t just a preset Pokémon but a one person deck item card that lets you change the type of 1 Pokémon per game. How sick would that be
The Gengar art resembles the Clefable from Obsidian Flames 🤔🤔 further hitting that theory home.
I’m very disappointed that gengar isn’t great, if the card doesn’t get an alt art I might cry lol
Incineroar ex and Gengar ex have me VERY excited. Drum of Awakening is an interesting idea for an ACE SPEC, but obviously most decks won't play it unless Ancient gets some insane new cards to make it even more viable. Reboot Bot is also interesting, and seems like maybe a good counter to disruption, should Future decks find themselves needing it, or just a quick way to power up if you're discarding Energy with Ultra Ball and the like.
Ancient will be viable with this a lot look raging bolt and walking wake
I think the gengar could be similar to iron valiant. I know it is different but the card can just sit on the bench and stack damage. Then you use a pokemon that can move around damage counters to stack them onto 1 pokemon. The attack can be used as a last resort move
The relicanth can be used with that farigiraf
It's really weird to see a gengar chase card that it is so mid. Gengar is one of like 10 pokemon that always gets tons of cards that mostly range from good to great

That Gengar seems really nasty. Any deck you're facing with a passive bench sitter can essentially become an inaccessible discard for their energy unless they want to waste an attachment giving you a prize.
Yeah I think it has some potential tbh
they just promote it and retreat it. it's not good enough for a stage 2 (unless the haunter/gastly has an evo cheat). that ability should of been any attachment meaning even u moving the energy did the dmg
I play an unlimited format with friends. I’m gonna make a deck with the new farigiraf and the lost thunder girafarig. I’m gonna use memory capsule to be able to use the get lost attack while being protected by that stunning ability, then hopefully drop lost world and declare myself the winner. It will be glorious. I can use base set Pokemon center to heal all damage they might do with no downside cause I only need one energy to use get lost, and I can use the lost thunder slow king as a secondary attacker for if they catch on and stop discarding Pokemon. I wish they had printed good cards in lost origin that could send opponents cards to the lost zone but that’s okay. We’ll still eat
something I slept on with incineroar.. that ability + tool like technical machines

Drum of Awakening seems like TPC's way of saying "sorry, we fucked up with Genesect V, so we made Fusion Strike System for Ancient Pokémon, but it's an Ace Spec instead of an Ability."

While Gengar ex and Incineroar ex seem somewhat unplayable, Wugtrio ex has potential to be a decent bench sniper in Gholdengo and Chien-Pao, and Farigiraf ex can block Miraidon, Roaring Moon (w/ Mist Energy), and others and will only become more potent as more powerful basic ex cards are introduced. I don’t think Gengar or Incineroar will see much, if any, serious play (though, if good support comes out that works with these cards, Incineroar has a lot more potential than Gengar which just seems bad), while Wugtrio will be seen occasionally and Farigiraf might pop up in a year or two if the meta is ruled by basic ex pokemon. Meanwhile, those two new ace specs will rival Prime Catcher in their respective decks, though I’m leaning Prime Catcher for ancient decks and the future ace spec for future decks
not sure... I could see ancients playing the ace spec over catcher. ancients will play sarder n then often gear so draw 5-6 straight late mid game will likely find u boss or gear for boss anyway. early game its vital setup. just seems versatile

The consistency benefits with the Drum of Awakening is unbelievable in the right circumstances, but needs you to already be decently set up to be fully effective in helping you set up further, while the Prime Catcher has great early and late game impact regardless of anything else. On the other hand, being able to Professor Sada and Prime Catcher in an early game rush to cripple the opponent seems like a very powerful combination. The Sada rush strategy has already been proven to work with Ancient cards as seen in Roaring Moon, and we have yet to see if a long-game Ancient deck might work or not as we don’t even know all the cards that might be in those decks yet. These two are really close in power level, unlike in future where the Reboot Bot is clearly better, so it makes things tough lol

I love Farigiraf nice to finally see it. I agree it won’t hold up against current meta and lowkey don’t want to to go to a basic meta ever but Idk I still love the Pokémon I’ll still play it

As a TCG fanatic I was predicting Pokémon to be added in the tcg as Pokémon ex a few of those were Gengar and Incineroar and my predictions were correct

Hand trimmer is going to be a one of in a lot of decks because of drums
the gengar ex is super underwhelming by the time it's set up. Your opponent will be up and away, and you'll get much value from the damage. things like charizard will ignore completely. then u have a mediocre atk on top. I don't see why thay ability isn't any type of attachment (from hand or deck or discard) and u can only apply 1. that would be useful and give u an extra 2 dmg counters on the atk

Although it makes sense, It’s off putting that ace specs are tied into this gen’s gimmick of ancient/future pokemon.
