Watch Dane Dawkins Complete Double At Assiniboia Downs

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Jockey Dane Dawkins completed a double in the third race of seven races at the Assiniboia Downs racetrack in Canada, on Monday night (July 15, 2024).
Dawkins partnered with the Lee Delaronde-trained Frisco Kid (#6) going a mile, in an Allowance | Optional Allowance call. Note that the mile course at Assiniboia Downs is over two turns.
The post-race report reads as follows: “FRISCO KID forced pace three-wide, duelled two-wide between horses final turn, duelled outside into stretch, shook inside rival mid-stretch, opened short clear lead, held well.”

Dane Dawkins won two races in day, so nice. He is a jockey of average ability. If he went to New York, it would take him one year or more to win a race. He is Not the smartest of riders. Where he is riding now is Good for him, because he is riding with No name jockeys. The Best jockeys are in New York, so he would be Hard pressed to win single a race.

Dane Dawkins is a humble and and nice individual BUT he is Not a Smart jockey. While riding in Jamaica, I Watched him Threw away 5 to 6 Races. He is a timid rider and has a knack for Putting his horses in TROUBLE
.he has little or No racing strategy. Oh, one more thing, the ride in the derby was Pathetic. Lucky for him, he was on the Best horse. A capable Apprentice Rider Would Win that race. Like I said, Dane Dawkins ride was pathetic, my reason for saying this is -- the super filly was by 5 to 6 lengths yet he was Mercilessly Whipping the poor horse. A Good jockey whould whould Use Strong hand Riding to the finish line.

Jamaican jockeys are BETTER riders than the ones Mr.Dane Dawkins is riding with now. Any one of them come Caymanas, them whould Kill him with Ride. The poor guy whould have to Leave and go back to his inferior, low grade track. With such WEAK Competition, mr. Dane Dawkins might end up Winning the Jockey's title. And if that happens, his loyal and dedicated fans would Boast - him a the best thing to leave Jamaica and go a foreign.A who can go a foreign and be a champion jockey? Yea man a yu a Best to leave ya and mek wi proud. Sho dem how fe ride. Hey, you never know.

Dane Dawkins is doing himself a Disservice by going to such a Low Grade track. That Minor League Track has some of the Slowest horses on the ground. Some of the Poorest jockeys around. NEw York, California and Gulfstream are the Three MAJOR LEAGUE Tracks, that's where he Should have been, NOT a Minor League track. Ja
