One of my favourite karatéka. That was an honour for me to fight against him at Crystal Palace stadium in May 1982 ( Belgium National sélection vs English national team)
Whilst training at lunchtime at Lancaster University | spared with Sensei Brennan once. I held a 2nd dan in WTF TKD at the time and he was in the gym, after watching me train he asked me if I wanted to spar with him. It was a great honour for me and I was greatly impressed by his speed and his control. I caught him once with a spinning back kick. he caught me many times with his excellent reverse punch and a front leg roundhouse kick!
Brennan was always a freak of nature . Flexibility that was balletic. I’ve trained with him and he was excellent. However , for me the best I ever trained with was Sensei Brian Woods
This guy is in my opinion the best karate sensei that england has ever produced!!!
