Sensei Brennnan is a hero and role model of mine. I still wait for the privelege to train under him. I trained with sensei Sherry this summer and that too was truely a privelege. Shotokan is my life, and the KUGB is my church. Thanks for uploading and Osu!
This is a basic demonstration and a great example of discipline and control. There will always be someone who thinks they know better and post negativity.
As I allready mentioned...unfortunately Chris is right...it is the 'old fashioned Enoeda' style way...if you progress in karate you will find that the zenkutsu-dachi can be performed in a better way, because it is all about compression and if the knie is a little bit bend inwards, you get the 'squeeze/compression' feeling/stand...a much stronger stand (like sanchin-dachi/hangetsu-dachi)
Hmmmm.... Being as I'm kyu grade I'm happy to be taught rather than criticise a world class karateka. However if you think you equal sensei Brennan or his esteemed counterparts then feel free to address them personally.....
Sensei Brennan's front knee in zenkutsu dachi is wrong, he presses it outwards, it should press inwards. Pressing outwards is bad for the knees. Please communicate to him if he hasn't yet changed this. Just an honest opinion

Esse cara deveria ser mais famoso mundialmente. É um genio do Shotokan.
He is famous. 😂 But I think we over estimate shotokan karate over other things when it comes to fame.
Be humble my friend.

shotokhan has gd points and bad some of the bloks would never work 4 real and some is unrealistick
There aren't any blocks in real karate. The movements were just misinterpreted as such by the Japanese.
