His only other interception was a wonderful decision that was 50 yards down field and was barely under thrown. Other than that he has thrown it out or made the right read the wr missed or he barley did. Thats the type of shi that gets you hype. These aren't childish decisions. He's only missing throws that great qbs do 5 seasons in.
As a Redskin/Commander fan for 20 years this is this first time i can turn on the TV and smile. I know its early in the year and so much can happen but this kid is a dawg. Watching him play so far has been special

Wagner has been the level headed vet in the LB corp our big tackles have been steady and Luvu look like LT out there sometimes, Quinn has absolutely turned him loose on the league Polamalu style. And our DB’s playing like they wanna get left out of all the fun!!!
Jayden Daniels has the rushing upside of Lamar but his passing ability looks strides ahead of where Lamar was when he first came into the league. His deep ball has been insane and he is going to be a problem for years to come, Commanders got a good one
He doesn’t have the rushing upside of Lamar, but he does have rushing ability that will do him good. His running is more like RG3 than like Lamar. Definitely more straight-line speed than quick lateral agility like Lamar. And I’ll give Daniels his props. He’s definitely a much better passer than Lamar too at his early stage. Lamar had to develop more as a passer in his 1st year.
As a life long Washington fan, I think we can officially say the Snyder curse has been lifted. Adam Peters and Dan Quinn have masterfully assembled a coaching staff and roster that have fully bought in. When the defensive efficiency catches up with the offense, this is gonna be a REALLY scary team. They're baaaack!

I had such a strong feeling Daniels was going to be the top QB in the class. Williams was great too, but JD was already playing on another level. Just looking at his tape, he was fast, had elite processing, excellent decision making, great pocket presence, was DEADLY accurate, he was the complete package. He was like Lamar, except Lamar wasn’t as accurate a passer entering the league. JD was the QB I was most excited to see coming out of college and I’m honestly not surprised at all by what he’s doing. Watching him in the NFL, it’s literally like I’m still watching his college tape.

The stats don’t even matter. If you actually watch the games, Daniels is making almost every play when it’s needed. Daniels is utterly dominating the field and to me the most remarkable thing is his poise. He never looks shaken or rattled or out of control. He’s playing like a 10 year vet who has won a couple MVPs in his career. His stats are great, but his play on the field far exceeds it. And anyone who watches the games knows that immediately.
I love the offensive scheme, its alot of see what they give you and attack what they left free. Defense is getting there peiple are moving faster, understanding their assingments. Its finally nice to see these players with good coaches, all coming good together

It's a great test. As a Commies fan, a win would be incredible, but I'll be happy if we can simply be competitive and give them all they can handle. That would earn a passing grade IMO.

Jayden is on a much shorter learning curve then any rookie QB in history for 4 reasons. 1. Experience- 55 college starts. 2. Work Ethic 3. Great coaching. 4. Talent- Unique combination of intelligence and athleticism. All of this combined is why we are seeing him take the league by storm so early. This shouldn’t surprise anyone who actually takes the time to learn about this special football player. Any given Sunday. HTTR!

Being 1st in screens, no huddle and 2nd in RPO while being 2nd in the league In rushing with a QB that throws a great deep ball is an absolute insane match up nightmare for any defense.
We,as fans, have put up with having the worst owner in all of sports for over 20 years…… I feel like this is the reward for enduring worst owner in all of the sports!
I’m trying to stay rational, but man, this year *feels special*. There’s no shadow of Dan Snyder’s issues hanging over the team, there’s new management, new coach, new franchise QB, no overpaid free agents… it’s like they completely retconned the Snyder-verse in a single season. I think this will be the first **real** test of the season, and even if we lose, if we can at least stay competitive, it’ll be a positive direction for this team regardless of outcome. Commanders Defense needs to show out against Lamar, and if we can keep him and Henry in check, I think the Ravens defense is beatable. HTTC!

First things first. Great job on the vid. JD is unbelievable and he shows how a great QB can change the fortunes of a franchise. It will take a year before NFL defensives catches up to him scheme wise.
Ravens are very disciplined team, on both sides of the ball. There D is going to give JD5 and his O the toughest task this year. The problem may not lie with the O but rather the Commanders D. Lamar and King Henry are one hell of a 1,2 punch, that can score on one play or drag out a drive. I think all the hype surrounding JD5 and his O, is going to motivate the Ravens on both sides of the ball. As a Commanders fan if they win I will be ecstatic, but in reality I want the Commanders to keep up and be competitive against a franchised that has proved to be a winner.
They're running The Ravens offense and just happen to play this week. Hopefully, the Ravens defense can step up,we have been struggling against the pass this season.

Ben Johnson showed the world that he wasn't ready to be a true Head Coach by the way he handled his off-season interviews, wasted everyone's time, then flaked at the last second. DQ might not have been the "sexy" hire that everyone was looking for, but he's the right one. Washington dodged a bullet when they got Quinn instead of Johnson.
Ben wouldn’t have been able to create the energy or the team cohesion needed to play like we see the team playing. He probably would have been a my way or the highway play caller.

It’s that everything that everybody was saying when we drafted RG 3 Remember, Mr.Naguta # 92 6’4”-360 lbs After chasing RG3 for About 30 yards he just about ripped off RG3’s Leg I guess what I’m trying to say is this is the NFL and things get figured out real quick and these are top-flight athletes. I love the guy. I hope he helps us dominate for the next 10 years. What I’m trying to say is the game will catch up with him .

if you all want to know why The washington commanders are having success this season, and why JD5 is having success? it is because it is a total organization top to bottom effort. the owner went and got the best gm, the gm brought in the best coach, the coach brought in the best asst coaches, and players. the entire organization worked hard throughout the offseason to set up their QB for success. The OC and DC got the players they needed in the offseason, and the front office is no joke!! they hit on all of their free agent signings and draft picks!!! and yeah Jayden Daniels is a superstar!! HTTR!!!

Biadiaz currently has a 79.8 PFF Pass Blocking Grade with only 1 QB Pressure Allowed which is 2nd among Centers and Wylie is also a surprise so far too with 0 QB Hits and 0 Sacks allowed which is also 1st among Tackles. He got close a couple of times but Jayden got outta there quick. He definitely makes these OL's jobs a little easier that's for sure. Love seeing them compliment each other as well!
Amazing what a Heisman QB can do for your team. I wish this teams played more than once every 4 years. I thought they had a chance against the Ravens after Andrews let a perfect pass get intercepted but no team is going to beat the Ravens when Lamar is in the zone. The opening drive should of been a TD and they just took a knee instead of scoring another TD in the 4th or letting the GOAT Tucker kick another field goal. Winning by just 7 is a little misleading but the Ravens covered the 6.5 spread. It's a great start for the Commanders. If Jayden stays healthy and continues his excellent play, he'll be the hands down favorite for rookie of the year. After decades of disappointment, there's finally some hope for Washington fans. Go Commanders!
Every year there seems to be some new hotshot rookie. Today is Daniel’s. He is showing a lot of promise, but there is now a half season of tape on him so defenses will adjust. We will see how he does… but it won’t mean a hill of beans until that defense can stop someone. And they have played a bunch crappy teams. He’ll get his chance this weekend

Jayden is on a much shorter learning curve then any rookie QB in history for 4 reasons.
1. Experience- 55 college starts. 2. Work Ethic 3. Great coaching. 4. Talent- Unique combination of intelligence and athleticism. All of this combined is why we are seeing him take the league by storm so early.
This shouldn’t surprise anyone who actually takes the time to learn about this special football player.

As a Commanders/Redskins fan I was expecting to see a little improvement with this team, but no one was expecting this.
Man, if they can keep playing at this level through the whole season who knows how far they could go.

I’m trying to stay rational, but man, this year *feels special*. There’s no shadow of Dan Snyder’s issues hanging over the team, there’s new management, new coach, new franchise QB, no overpaid free agents… it’s like they completely retconned the Snyder-verse in a single season.
I think this will be the first **real** test of the season, and even if we lose, if we can at least stay competitive, it’ll be a positive direction for this team regardless of outcome. Commanders Defense needs to show out against Lamar, and if we can keep him and Henry in check, I think the Ravens defense is beatable. HTTC!

Ravens are very disciplined team, on both sides of the ball. There D is going to give JD5 and his O the toughest task this year. The problem may not lie with the O but rather the Commanders D. Lamar and King Henry are one hell of a 1,2 punch, that can score on one play or drag out a drive. I think all the hype surrounding JD5 and his O, is going to motivate the Ravens on both sides of the ball. As a Commanders fan if they win I will be ecstatic, but in reality I want the Commanders to keep up and be competitive against a franchised that has proved to be a winner.

Ben Johnson showed the world that he wasn't ready to be a true Head Coach by the way he handled his off-season interviews, wasted everyone's time, then flaked at the last second. DQ might not have been the "sexy" hire that everyone was looking for, but he's the right one. Washington dodged a bullet when they got Quinn instead of Johnson.
Ben wouldn’t have been able to create the energy or the team cohesion needed to play like we see the team playing. He probably would have been a my way or the highway play caller.

if you all want to know why The washington commanders are having success this season, and why JD5 is having success? it is because it is a total organization top to bottom effort. the owner went and got the best gm, the gm brought in the best coach, the coach brought in the best asst coaches, and players. the entire organization worked hard throughout the offseason to set up their QB for success. The OC and DC got the players they needed in the offseason, and the front office is no joke!! they hit on all of their free agent signings and draft picks!!! and yeah Jayden Daniels is a superstar!!

Biadiaz currently has a 79.8 PFF Pass Blocking Grade with only 1 QB Pressure Allowed which is 2nd among Centers and Wylie is also a surprise so far too with 0 QB Hits and 0 Sacks allowed which is also 1st among Tackles. He got close a couple of times but Jayden got outta there quick. He definitely makes these OL's jobs a little easier that's for sure. Love seeing them compliment each other as well!

Amazing what a Heisman QB can do for your team. I wish this teams played more than once every 4 years. I thought they had a chance against the Ravens after Andrews let a perfect pass get intercepted but no team is going to beat the Ravens when Lamar is in the zone. The opening drive should of been a TD and they just took a knee instead of scoring another TD in the 4th or letting the GOAT Tucker kick another field goal. Winning by just 7 is a little misleading but the Ravens covered the 6.5 spread. It's a great start for the Commanders. If Jayden stays healthy and continues his excellent play, he'll be the hands down favorite for rookie of the year. After decades of disappointment, there's finally some hope for Washington fans. Go Commanders!

Every year there seems to be some new hotshot rookie. Today is Daniel’s. He is showing a lot of promise, but there is now a half season of tape on him so defenses will adjust. We will see how he does… but it won’t mean a hill of beans until that defense can stop someone. And they have played a bunch crappy teams. He’ll get his chance this weekend
