- You won't believe how well this converted D12 Kei Truck actually crawls! Will WPL officially release a D14? I'm sure there would be a lot of people that would want a 1/10 Scale Suzuki Carry to go along on the trails with the full scale rigs!

These WPLs are always suprising! Considering the hate from the general Crawler community these get I can't say I can fault them for what they are! This one looks pretty sweet too!

as is but drop in a 2 speed gearbox it'd be really neat!
edit: yes the RWD chassis has a potential for drifting, but not seen one yet really doing it very well. its like a work in progress.

Found your channel when searching for P802 which I just purchased from Banggood. Hope to get the metal trailer for it as well but quite expensive. Neat little Suzuki, I remember them when I lived in Japan.

Firstly: what a clever idea, and what a great combination of WPL parts you chose. I like the way you combined C34 wheels with C24 tyres, for example.
Secondly - didn´t it do well on that 1:10 course! Obviously there were rocks that were just too enormous and wheel track problems on a course designed for Axials and Traxxases, but I was thoroughly impressed. It looks great doing it, too - I look forward to seeing more footage of this plucky little truck in action.

That's a really cool little truck, I'm about 95% complete on the C44KM and you've actually given me a few ideas that I want to change before finishing. You do great work keep up on the vids I love watching em.

At first there I thought Wpl have just released a 4wd crawler version of the Suzuki carry :O. I clicked the product link so fast.

Loving the D12 / D14 mod. Brings back great memories of the Honda Acty van I used to drive. From the same era as the Suzuki and almost identical.
yup, swap between C24 and B1 were pretty straightforward once I started in.
C24 body with a B1 chassis and modified gearbox drifts like it was made for it,
and the B1 with the C-frame under it is a good climber with battery under hood.
Phil, to make that drift use old #316 gearbox and brass 8t 0.5 modulus pinion on the motor to spin the output gear directly. you could lower it a whole lot, plastic tubing turned into tires to fit the WPL rims same as my little Toyota-toy. it'd be easy to drift same way, no gyro needed.
do have to make plastic drive shafts shorter, and axles go atop the leafs not under lowers it about 10 mm by itself.

Howdy Tom, watching your reviews helped me settle on my first RC(The MN99s to be specific) and I've had an absolute blast with it. Thinking of getting the full metal upgrade as an early Chrsitmas gift for myself after seeing your review on it as well.

Honestly really cool, I was thinking High lift with MN90 wheels but yours is just Perfect. Not too high on the CG and really capable for the size.
At your last WPL D12 video I said that I was only modify my D12 with metal drive shaft and metal wheels+super sticky racing tires. Right now I already put metal rear axle and metal leaf spring. Planning for brushless conversion next but still try to find the easiest way to do it.
