It's bec I've studied the original Greek/Hebrew Bible that's been unchanged that I see with my own eyes the deleting, additions, and contradictions of the RCC that changes the purpose & facts of the text of Jesus Christ. I can back it up with scripture, not just my opinions or choice of personal beliefs. I believe what God says over any man of any church that opposes him. I know the truth, I recognize the lies.

Do I have a close relationship with Jesus? I have daily conversations with Him, prayers, reading the Bible (which thanks to the Catholic church, exists). @@kenshiloh Dear Ken, I'm happy for all people who know Jesus. I think Catholics could learn a lot from protestants when it comes to faith. We do not believe that only Catholics are saved, that's false. Do we believe that whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord is enough? No, we don't. Why? Because Jesus by himself said: "This is My body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me." And " If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever and the bread also which I give for the life of the world is My flesh." It is pretty much the same with the confession: "Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." All of these things and many others means works. Call Jesus's name can anyone but you have to convert if you wanna be saved. The word conversion means the process of changing or causing something to change from one form to another. Which means, works. You can compare it with any other thing in your daily life like for example: Can you achieve some amazing carrier if you are not doing anything about it? No, you cannot. Speaking about Paul and whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accounted, I'm sorry to tell you this, but Marthin Luther did it, unfortunately. I was always asking myself how could you guys believe in something that started in the 16th century. And so many different denominations... I don't know. Have you ever asked yourself who were first Christians? Also if we haven't had the Bible for the first 3 centuries, almost 4, what they were doing? They haven't had any denominations back then. I would definitely recommend you to check Keith Neister. He was a protestant pastor for years who converted to Catholicism. He has an interesting story and probably you can understand each other better because of the background. And one last thing is yes, I really want you to become a Catholic. Not because I think we are better etc, but because it's true. I really want you to live that fulfillment. I wish you know how amazing confession is. I wish you receive the body and blood of our savior. Wish you all the best my brother, hopefully, I help you a bit. 🙏🏼❤

@@kenshiloh Hi Ken! I didn't say Paul is wrong. I am saying that we cannot take one sentence literally cause there's the whole explanation in background, perhaps, historical evidence. I can totally understand your confusion and struggles. If you guys take every sentence in the Bible literally then why do you ignore the Eucharist, Virgin Mery, etc.? Why that's just a symbol? As I said, there's a lot in the background. Jesus never says a word about the trinity but you and I believe in that. I know I'm on the right path, I have no fear and doubts about it. A few months ago, I was ready to become whatever I just wanted to live in truth. So I've done a lot of research 🙂 And I would definitely recommend to you not listen to a lot of Catholics because unfortunately, they don't know their religion. This channel is amazing, also catholic answers, Matt Fradd, the Jewish catholic, Keith Neister... But random "Catholics" most of the time are just Catholics on paper. what I am trying to say is, I've read that Cardi B is praying every day, which is great. But do you think that someone who's singing a song like WAP, fighting in interviews, etc can enter the Gods Kingdom just like that? If Heaven is the place without sin. That's why I am saying that is not enough just to believe, it means you're not taking Jesus seriously. In that case, you guys claim that person is going to hell. I've heard that from a protestant friend who thinks that her parents will go to hell because they are Muslims. How is it possible if our God is so merciful? He knows everything, especially circumstances. That's why purgatory is so logical as well.

      @@kenshiloh
Hi. You admit these are "important elements" but somehow act as though we can know Jesus Christ without following His teachings, such as these "important elements."
You will find that our Lord talks about both baptism and communion. For instance, in John 3, our Lord says, "Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
And He explicitly commands His followers to Communion. For just one instance, in the Gospel of Luke we read, "And taking bread, he gave thanks and brake and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me."
Now, given that our Lord informs us of the necessity of baptism and directly commands us to Communion, how is it then that someone can claim to follow Him yet deny the importance of these "important elements"?
Brother, you see, the Catholic Church teaches and upholds what the apostles taught us. In Scripture, you will read that the apostles were commanded, "And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world." (the end of Matthew)
Notice how Jesus tells them to teach all nations to observe all things whatsoever He has commanded them.
Why would one ever depart from the guardian of the whole of the Gospel? The whole of the Word is like a two edged sword, yet those who wish to denigrate the teachings of the Master blunt their own weapons, and dull their own selves.
Brother, you will not find our Lord contradicting the teachings of the Church, since He has promised us the continued protection of His Church. Perhaps a wayward Catholic or priest may, but never shall Her official teaching. If you think He does, then you are misunderstanding something (but you are in the right place to get such misunderstandings corrected!). I will pray for you to come to the full truth of the Gospel, and yet obtain that life, and life to the full. So many God-fearing saints and people have lived, truly as sons of the Father, that even if you doubt me, doubting that they have known Christ is but a fool's errand.
There are many stumbling blocks to accepting the fullness of truth in Christ's Church, but mainly I would say there are two: pride and ignorance. One, because we want to believe we are right over and against true and right authority, or as a sort of clearly prideful rebellion against what we know is true. The other, because of misinformation or lack of true information. I do not mean to judge you specifically, and I do not know you, but I think if you pray on it and continue to learn and study the issue, you will come to believe, like many before you, that truly the Guardian of doctrine is Christ's Church. Read the early Christians, the early Church Fathers, exegete Scripture and explain their beliefs. Look at the whole of Scripture and the canonization of Scripture. Look at Church history and how so many errors were defeated through the Church. Meditate on our Lord's promises: He is True.
Brother, I am sorry if this seems like a wall of text, but I really want you to know Christ truly, in the deep way He wants your relationship to be. He is not only our Lord and Savior, but He can be our daily food! It may seem tough and difficult for you. It may come with heavy crosses, but these can be a joy to the spiritual man!

Yes, we believe you must believe what Jesus said is true and partake of the Eucharist. That was a direct command from Jesus, one that cost him the whole crowd of 5000.
John 6:51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
      ."
Romans 10:13 is every bit as true as John 6. If the Catholic church thought Paul was lying. Paul's writings would not have been chosen as inspired.
If you're looking for assured salvation. Join the club, that's what Adam and Eve thought they were getting from the serpent. He promised them that they would be "as gods." Isn't that what everyone who wants to be their own judge is asking for? Do I have to point to all of the verses that say that God will judge?
Romans 10 is certainly true. So is this::
1 Peter 3: 21 "Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God [p]for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, "
Baptism is just the initial justification, like circumcision in the Old Covenant. That is our covenant adoption as sons of the Father. From then we have access to His free grace to fulfill of life of loving and pleasing Him.
In other words, once we're adopted, we are judged by a merciful father instead of a legal contract (Torah)
Romans 5:1-2 "Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have OBTAINED ACCESS to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our HOPE of sharing the glory of God."
Romans 14:12 "So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God."
Romans 2:13-16: For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified… on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:16: Do you not know that if you yield yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience which leads to righteousness?
Matt. 10:22: And you will be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Romans 13:11: For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.
So, there is no one act that guarantees your place in heaven. (Baptism reserves your place, but you can reject it.) God is the judge. But if you become His family, he will judge you by your faith in HIm (as Abraham did his WHOLE LIFE.) You will be judged by someone who loves you. Romans 10 tells us that we can trust that He will give us the grace we need to know His will and do His will, EVERY TIME WE CALL ON HIM.

@@kenshiloh Do you understand, I was asking you the exact same question?
Is John 6 true? Can you have eternal life without eating the flesh of the Son of Man?
Tell me if this is your gospel, or if you believe in some other gospel.
I answered that you will be saved EACH TIME you call upon the Lord. Faith is a much bigger word to us than it is to any of the Johnny-come-lately religions. To you, it sounds like faith is just an intellectual ascent to an idea. If you know who "Lord" is, and know that He is someone you can call upon. You have "faith," therefore you are saved. We've both read the bible, so you know that the demons had complete faith that Jesus is God. But they are not saved are they?
Does your tradition believe in the gospel of Matthew? Mat 7: 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven."
How does that square with your easy "just call my name," salvation?
Faith is not shallow belief, it is a commitment. It is trust that lasts a lifetime despite the odds against that which God has promised.
Again, my answer is there is no one line. Faith is fully explained over 1500 pages. Did Paul tell his people. "Just believe the story i told you and go home and relax?" NO. He preached perseverance. And he NEVER promised anybody assured salvation.
Your idea of "faith" strikes me like this: If I trust my GPS to get me to Cleveland, and It tells me it can get me to Cleveland. I should be able to shut off my car, go back in the house, and wait for my GPS to get me to Cleveland. That's how faith works right?
Just believe Jesus exists and has the power to forgive yours sins, and you can go back to bed.
Where does grace fit into that? We are saved by grace through faith. Where does grace come from?
"calling upon the Lord, is something a Christian does every time he realizes that obedience, sacrifice and endurance are bigger than him. But with God all things are possible.
I don't think a one time "Hey Lord!"
is going to get anybody into heaven. That's why no follower of Christ ever taught it.
Now, what about that "false" command that Jesus made about eating His flesh?
Luther corrected Jesus on that right?

The only further thing He said was "are you going to leave also?" He didn't tell the crowd that they misunderstood did He? He didn't call them back and tell them He didn't really mean it did He? He said "very truly, i tell you" 3 times.
Now, if I might be so bold as to ask the question you did: Was He lying?
Not only did He mean it, but the whole Christian world understood it very clearly - until Martin Luther decided that he understood Jesus better than Jesus did.
There is no such thing as temporary salvation, because you only get judged once. There is also no such thing as pre-foregivness. I can't give you a reference for that because there is no such thing, (just like the mythical rapture.)
You didn't say which faith tradition you subscribe to. So, please forgive my assumptions.
You didn't say how you get filled with the Holy Spirit, or how it relates to Jesus 3.5 years of teaching.

@@kenshiloh I know there were alot of things that the apostles didn't fully understand until after the resurrection. But if you can find a parable that the apostles didn't understand and Jesus didn't explain, we can discuss it. Keep in mind, alot of explanations are found in the old testament. There are like 280 references to the old testament in the book of Revelation that are not labeled as such. Jesus would have expected them to know the old testament.
Yes, you need to show historical proof of a change in the doctrine of the Eucharist. We both know that there is "doctrinal development" in every faith tradition, even yours, which you haven't named. The word "transubstantiation" took some time to solidify, just like "Trinity." That's why Jesus left a church. Same thing for "alien imputation of righteousness" or "sola scriptura." In Protestantism, the surprises just keep coming with each new denomination like "rapture" and "repentance is proof of no faith."
In a nutshell, the Eucharist itself during the reformation became a negotiation between three men. One adopted a more conservative view of the real presence, the other more liberal, and the third split the difference. Is that anyone's idea of "biblical?" And, in all three of those traditions of men, it has changed over time. So, in your research of the history, let's compare those interpretations and their changes over time too for comparison. The real presence in the Eucharist was introduced by Jesus. It has never changed. The explanation for how it occurs has been refined. Look how slowly God revealed Himself in the old testament. He first gave us milk before solid food.
We're kind of getting all over the place here, but in my limited experience, I have found that "bible believing" denominations look for that one verse that will refute all others. Just like your original question. "Was Paul lying?" Doesn't that one verse refute everything else every other writer said? Catholics don't see the bible as a resource to refute the bible. We believe every word of it. If one page says, "Baptism now saves you," we believe that's true. If another page says, "you must do the will of the Father," we believe that's true too. If it says " The Messiah will come in 70 heptads" we believe it says just that, not 70 heptads plus 2000 years. If it says "Do this in remembrance of me," same thing. We don't say "if it says baptism saves you, all other reference to salvation are immaterial."
There are 40-50,000 protestant denominations plus all of the non denominationals, plus the quasi Christians "religions" plus all of the "I don't believe in religion" religions. All of them are. of course, the TRUE church because nobody understands Jesus like ME, right? So, that' how many interpretations there are. You haven't admitted which one you subscribe to. So, having a discussion could be difficult. I can only assume you have the same thing in common with all man made religions. "Whatever the Catholic church believes, I believe the opposite." So, again, until you define your opinions, I can only assume what is obvious.
"Thirdly, I am not sure what '3.5 years' has to do with any matter of salvation." I'm saying Jesus taught his apostles for 3.5 years, and promised that He will never leave His church. So, to try to distill what He said into one verse seems a little silly. He did His most intensive training during the time between resurrection and the ascension. Those teachings aren't even written.
"This is eternal life, that you know God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." Yep, that's the point. How long does it take to "know" your spouse? your kids? Can you distill it down to one quote? Knowing unfolds over a lifetime. It starts with becoming family, and grows from there. There are things you will discover about your family on your deathbed. Our first experience with the love of God is becoming His child in baptism. From then on, we are in a familial love relationship with a father we love, trust and fear (respect as superior to us.) We will be judged by a loving father, who has infinite mercy. We died to the law of the Torah when when we died to sin with Jesus. We are a new creation, a child of God. We are no longer in a legalistic system of Mosaic law.

The time his coffin was being taken out I prayed my last reparation prayer for him. Then A sudden change of the very hot air penetrating the balcony. But suddenly a cooling wind entered! That's when his coffin was taken outside! The wind was powerful but soothing and cooling. I think it was a sign that he now found peace and his purgatory purification time ended quick. 😎Catechism 1085 In the liturgy of the Church, it is principally his own Paschal mystery that Christ signifies and makes present. During his earthly life Jesus announced his Paschal mystery by his teaching and anticipated it by his actions. When his Hour comes, he lives out the unique event of history which does not pass away: Jesus dies, is buried, rises from the dead, and is seated at the right hand of the Father "once for all."8 His Paschal mystery is a real event that occurred in our history, but it is unique: all other historical events happen once, and then they pass away, swallowed up in the past. The Paschal mystery of Christ, by contrast, cannot remain only in the past, because by his death he destroyed death, and all that Christ is - all that he did and suffered for all men - participates in the divine eternity, and so transcends all times while being made present in them all. The event of the Cross and Resurrection abides and draws everything toward life.
But if the sacrifice of the cross is all-sufficient, what need then, you will say, is there of a commemorative Sacrifice of the Mass? I would ask a Protestant in return, Why do you pray, and go to church, and why were you baptized, and receive Communion, and the rite of Confirmation? What is the use of all these exercises, if the sacrifice of the
cross is all-sufficient? You will tell me that in all these acts you apply to yourself the merits of Christ's Passion. I will tell you, in like manner, that in the Sacrifice of the Mass I apply to myself the merits of the sacrifice of the cross, from which the Mass derives all its efficacy. Christ, indeed, by His death, made full atonement for our sins, but He has not released us from the obligation of co-operating with Him by applying His merits to our souls. What better or more efficacious way can we have of participating in His merits, than by assisting at the Sacrifice of the Altar, where we vividly recall to mind His sufferings, where Calvary is represented before us, where " we show the death of the Lord until He come," and where we draw abundantly to our souls the fruit of His Passion, by drinking of the same blood that was shed on the cross?

@@CatholicTruthOfficial what do you think about this?
Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation and was critical of what he considered excesses and corruptions in the Catholic Church. But did you know he continued to hold many Catholic doctrines about Mary?
Here are some quotes from Martin Luther about the Blessed Virgin Mary that may surprise you:
      1) Mary has no equal among creation
“She became the Mother of God, in which work so many and such great good things are bestowed on her as pass man’s understanding. For on this there follows all honor, all blessedness, and her unique place in the whole of mankind, among which she has no equal, namely, that she had a child by the Father in heaven, and such a Child….
“Hence men have crowded all her glory into a single word, calling her the Mother of God…. None can say of her nor announce to her greater things, even though he had as many tongues as the earth possesses flowers and blades of grass: the sky, stars; and the sea, grains of sand. It needs to be pondered in the heart what it means to be the Mother of God.”
      2) Mary was without sin
“God has formed the soul and body of the Virgin Mary full of the Holy Spirit, so that she is without all sins, for she has conceived and borne the Lord Jesus.”
      3) Mary was a perpetual virgin
“Christ, our Savior, was the real and natural fruit of Mary’s virginal womb… This was without the cooperation of a man, and she remained a virgin after that. […] Christ… was the only Son of Mary, and the Virgin Mary bore no children besides Him.”
      4) On the veneration of Mary
“The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human heart.”
      5) Mary is the mother of all Christians
“Mary is the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of us even though it was Christ alone who reposed on her knees… If He is ours, we ought to be in His situation; there where He is, we ought also to be and all that he has ought to be ours, and His mother is also our mother.”
      6) You can never honor Mary enough
“[Mary is the] highest woman and the noblest gem in Christianity after Christ… She is nobility, wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honor her enough. Still honor and praise must be given to her in such a way as to injure neither Christ nor the Scriptures.”

Jesus in Matthew 23:9 was using rabbinic hyperbole. Similar to when he said if your hand causes you to sin cut it off. It's not meant to be taken literally. We know this because men are called the father from the beginning of the New Testament to the end, both in a physical and in a spiritual way. In fact Abraham is called our father in faith six times just in Romans chapter 4 alone. Paul and 1 Corinthians 4:15 said that he became our father in the gospel. So we know that all fatherhood whether physical or spiritual derives from God's fatherhood who is the ultimate and eternal father.

"In the sacrifice of Jesus Christ the priest is substitute of Christ Himself. As a result of his ordination, he is true alter Christus" (The Latin Mass: Chronicle of catholic Reform, Summer 1995
"In this moment , the priest quite literally becomes Christ Himself"( This is the Mass, bishop Fulton J.Sheen page 100)
This is blasphemy to think the priest becomes Christ himself , even Apostle Paul never elevated himself or made himself equal to Christ. Also this points out to : catechism 1367 : The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice: “The victim is one and the same: the same now offers through the ministry of priests, who then offered himself on the cross; only the manner of offering is different.” “And since in this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and is offered in an unbloody manner. .. this sacrifice is truly propitiatory.”19 where bible says Jesus was sacrifice once for all Hebrew 7:27 He died once for all sin for all times:there are no more offerings for sin Heb 10:10,12,18
Another example, catechism 1863 declares venial sins"do not cause death , only temporal punishment. This is doctrine of demons that embrace Satan's first lie to Eve " You surely shall not die if you disobey God Gen.3:4, 1 Tim.4:1 1) ACT 17:24 The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands.
2)Matthew 24:26-27 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
I always believed that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of his father and HE WILL come again , not that sinful human as priest have power to call Jesus from his trone ,Hebrews 1:3, Mark 16:19
even arc angels don't have that power.
Here is verse that hit me even harder :
    3) Romans 6:9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
If piece of flour and water made into waffle is true flesh, blood, spirit of Jesus then base on above verse it should never go under spoilage , church have procedure to dissolved the host in the water, or our acid from stomach is consuming it , leave the host on the table for few months and you will see what will happen.
4)In Exodus 32 people made golden calf and they said here is your God, in catholic church same thing is taking place people have waffle and magisterium is saying here is your god. Remember this is highest level of idolatry in Exodus 35 God killed 3000 people for the sin of idolatry.

actually you must be a pagan they don't believe in purgatory either ..
Some more Bible alone for ya ...John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the John 6:46 "Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father
Since you claim there is no "purgatory " Then please explain where Jesus' Spirit went for the 3 days his body was dead? Sacred Scripture says ",, that he went and preached to the spirits who lay in prison. " ( 1 Peter 3:19) Where was this prison? was it in Heaven? If so why would there be a prison in Paradise? Was the prison in the Hell of the Damned? If so why would the damned need to hear the Gospel? .
as you say there is no "purgatory" then Jesus did not have to die on the cross. If Moses and Abraham and the rest of the OT Faithful were already in the presence of the Lord then Jesus did not have to die.
His death on the cross opened the narrow gate and the OT faithful passed through that narrow gate from the wilderness into the Promised land.
The OT Faithful that died waiting for the Messiah weren't in slavery in Egypt- the antetype of hell of the damned for they had been rescued but they weren't in the Promised land of heaven either. Jesus' death opened the narrow gate and fulfilled the Covenant. Please study the Hebrew thoughts of Sheol and the grave, and note that Sheol is NOT Gehenna. Gehenna is for the accursed and the Damned not Abraham or Moses.
The waiting in the spiritual wilderness is the best explanation of "purgatory" I can think of right now.
      Thanks for listening and remember Revelation 21 :17 & 1 Cor 3:15 especially verses 10-15. ----
the word hell means Hades or Sheol, the collective abode of the dead, divided into Paradise or Abraham's Bosom--the state of God-fearing souls--and Gehenna, the state of ungodly souls. Thus the descent into hell suggests that the Son of God carried the sins of the world to hell; or the Son of God carried Good News of deliverance to the godly dead such as Lazarus the beggar and the repentant thief.😆

@@biankapaloma😎😎 After Adam's sin, the gates of Heaven were closed, and no one was allowed to enter (John 3:13) until Jesus Christ redeemed the human race and opened the gates once again. Where were the spirits of Moses and Elias, who appeared and spoke with Jesus at the transfiguration (Matthew 17:3)? They could not have been in Heaven since it was closed, and they would have been lost had they been in hell. They had to have been in a third place. If there was a third place then, why not a third place now?
What about Lazarus? He was already dead four days (John 11:17) when Jesus arrived at his tomb. Where was his soul during those four days? It could not be heaven or hell for the same reasons as for Moses and Elias.
His soul had to have been in a third place.
      Philippians 2:10 says:
"That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bend of those in Heaven, on earth, and 'under the earth'."
'Under the earth', could it mean hell, or is it a third place?
Non Catholic theologians struggle trying to reconcile their denial of the existence of Purgatory with what Paul said in 1Corinthians 3:12-15:
"Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw- each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire*."
To whom do these verses refer? Obviously the person is not in hell, as verse 15 says "himself will be saved". He cannot be in heaven either as the same verse implies suffering, "as through fire", and there is no suffering in heaven. These verses say that man will be purified by fire and then will be saved to enter Heaven. Where will this, "yet as though through fire", take place if not in a third place called Purgatory?
"And who shall be able to think of the day of His coming? And who shall stand to see Him? For HE IS LIKE A REFINING FIRE, and like the fuller's herb; AND HE SHALL SIT REFINING AND CLEANSING THE SILVER. AND HE SHALL PURIFY THE SONS OF LEVI, AND SHALL REFINE THEM AS GOLD, AND AS SILVER, and they shall offer sacrifices to the Lord in justice."
      Malachi 3:2-3
"...Strike the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered; and I will turn My hand to the little ones. And they shall be in all the earth, said the Lord, TWO PARTS IN IT SHALL BE SCATTERED, AND SHALL PERISH, BUT THE THIRD PART SHALL BE LEFT THEREIN. AND I WILL BRING THE THIRD PART THROUGH THE FIRE, AND WILL REFINE THEM AS SILVER IS REFINED, AND I WILL TRY THEM AS GOLD IS TRIED. THEY SHALL CALL ON MY NAME, AND I WILL HEAR THEM. I WILL SAY: YOU ARE MY PEOPLE. AND THEY SHALL SAY; THE LORD IS MY GOD."
      Zechariah 13:7-9
"As silver is tried by fire, and gold in the furnace, so the Lord tries the hearts."
      Proverbs 17:3.
The metal refiner watches the silver, for if the process is longer than necessary, the silver will be harmed.
"He shall sit refining and cleansing the silver. And he shall purify the sons of Levi, and shall refine them as gold, and as silver..."
      Malachi 3:3.
HE KNOWS THE PROCESS IS COMPLETE WHEN HE CAN SEE HIS OWN IMAGE REFLECTED IN THE SILVER.
GOD SAID, "LET US MAKE MANKIND IN OUR IMAGE AND LIKENESS."
      Genesis 1:26
"...Woe is me, because I have held my peace; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people that has unclean lips, and I have seen with my eyes the King of the Lord of Hosts. And one of the Seraphims flew to me, and in his hand was a live coal, which he had taken with the tongs off the altar. And he touched my mouth and said, 'BEHOLD THIS HAS TOUCHED YOUR LIPS, AND YOUR INIQUITIES SHALL BE TAKEN AWAY, AND YOUR SIN SHALL BE CLEANSED'." Isaiah 6:5-7
What can this possibly mean other than a purgation of sins through fire?
In 1Peter 3:19, Christ preached to the spirits in prison. What spirits? What prison? We will become pure spirits only after we die, so the spirits have to be the spirits of the dead. Prison cannot mean Heaven, and souls in hell are lost forever. Prison must mean a third place.
1Peter 4:6, the Gospel was preached "even to the dead". Again, where were these dead?
Matthew 12:32, "...but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him either in this world or in the world to come." This passage alludes to another world in which some sins will be forgiven. What other world? Again it could not be either Heaven or hell.
Hebrews 12:23, "...and to the Church of the Firstborn who are enrolled in the heavens, and to GOD, THE JUDGE OF ALL AND TO THE SPIRITS OF THE JUST MADE PERFECT."
We have already seen from Revelation 21:27 that nothing imperfect will enter heaven, and in Hebrews 12:23, the spirits of the just are made perfect. Revelation 22:14 shows that there will be a cleansing before admission to the tree of life and entrance through the gates of the city. Where will all of this happen if not in a third place?
"For everyone shall be salted with fire, and every victim shall be salted."
      Mark 9:48.
What fire, but the purification fire of Purgatory?
"But that servant who knew his masters will, and did not make ready for him and did not act according to his will, will be beaten with many stripes."
      Luke 12:47.
Are people beaten in Heaven? Those in hell are lost, so where will this punishment be fulfilled?
Very strong evidence that a third place exists, is in 2Maccabees 12:38-46:
"...it is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to Pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins."
If there are only Heaven and hell, why then does Scripture ask us to pray for the dead? If the dead are in hell, prayer is useless. If the dead are in Heaven, prayer is not needed. Therefore there has to be a third place where prayers are needed.
St. Paul prayed for his dead friend Onesiphorus in 2Timothy 1:18,
"May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day."
Why would Paul pray for the dead if he thought his friend to be in heaven or hell where prayers would help neither?
The greatest torment in Purgatory is to be separated from GOD for a period of time. Remember, in this life we have five senses, and they are always a distraction for us when we try to concentrate on things of GOD such as prayer. After we leave this life, we are spirit and have lost our five senses. There are no more distractions.
Purgatory should be regarded as a great blessing from GOD. Even though souls there are in torment, it is only a temporary torment. All who go there are assured of eventually gaining the Kingdom of Heaven.
It sure beats the third alternative...

Images and Statues, Relics & Holy Water
    I. Images and Statues
Deut. 4:15 - from this verse, Protestants say that since we saw “no form” of the Lord, we should not make graven images of Him.
Deut. 4:16 - of course, in early history Israel was forbidden to make images of God because God didn’t yet reveal himself visibly “in the form of any figure.”
Deut. 4:17-19 - hence, had the Israelites depicted God not yet revealed, they might be tempted to worship Him in the form of a beast, bird, reptile or fish, which was a common error of the times.
Exodus 3:2-3; Dan 7:9; Matt. 3:16; Mark 1:10; Luke 3:22; John 1:32; Acts 2:3- later on, however, we see that God did reveal himself in visible form (as a dove, fire, etc).
Deut. 5:8 - God’s commandment “thou shall not make a graven image” is entirely connected to the worship of false gods. God does not prohibit images to be used in worship, but He prohibits the images themselves to be worshiped.
Exodus 25:18-22; 26:1,31 - for example, God commands the making of the image of a golden cherubim. This heavenly image, of course, is not worshiped by the Israelites. Instead, the image disposes their minds to the supernatural and draws them to God.
Num. 21:8-9 - God also commands the making of the bronze serpent. The image of the bronze serpent is not an idol to be worshiped, but an article that lifts the mind to the supernatural.
I Kings 6:23-36; 7:27-39; 8:6-67 - Solomon’s temple contains statues of cherubim and images of cherubim, oxen and lions. God did not condemn these images that were used in worship.
2 Kings 18:4 - it was only when the people began to worship the statue did they incur God’s wrath, and the king destroyed it. The command prohibiting the use of graven images deals exclusively with the false worship of those images.
1 Chron. 28:18-19 - David gives Solomon the plan for the altar made of refined gold with a golden cherubim images. These images were used in the Jews’ most solemn place of worship.
2 Chron. 3:7-14 - the house was lined with gold with elaborate cherubim carved in wood and overlaid with gold.
Ezek. 41:15 - Ezekiel describes graven images in the temple consisting of carved likenesses of cherubim. These are similar to the images of the angels and saints in many Catholic churches.
Col. 1:15 - the only image of God that Catholics worship is Jesus Christ, who is the “image” (Greek “eikon”) of the invisible God.
    II. Relics
Mark 15:43; John 19:38 - Joseph of Arimathea sought Christ’s dead body instead of leaving it with the Romans. Joseph gave veneration to our Lord’s body.
Mark 16:1; Luke 24:1 - the women came to further anoint Christ’s body even though it had been sealed in the tomb.
John 19:39 - Nicodemus donated over one hundred pounds of spices to wrap in Jesus’ grave clothes. This is also veneration of our Lord’s body.
Matt. 9:21; Mark 5:28 - the woman with the hemorrhage just sought the hem of Christ’s cloak and was cured. This shows that God uses physical things to effect the supernatural.
Acts 19:11-12 - Paul’s handkerchiefs healed the sick and those with unclean spirits. This is another example of physical things effecting physical and spiritual cures.
Acts 5:15 - Peter’s shadow healed the sick. This proves that relics of the saints have supernatural healing power, and this belief has been a part of Catholic tradition for 2,000 years.
Rev. 6:9 - the souls of the martyrs are seen beneath the heavenly altar. Their bones are often placed beneath altars in Catholic churches around the world.
2 Kings 13:21 - Elisha’s bones bring a man back to life. The saints’ bones are often kept beneath the altars of Catholic churches and have brought about supernatural cures throughout the Christian age.
Rom. 13:7; Phil. 2:25-29; Heb. 3:3; 1 Pet. 2:7 - we are taught to honor the people of God and in 1 Cor. 4:16-17; 1 Cor. 11:1-2; Phil. 3:17; 1 Thess. 1:6; 2 Thess. 3:7; Heb. 6:12; Heb. 13:7; James 5:10-11 - we are reminded to imitate them. Keeping relics of the saints serves both to honor and imitate their heroic faith in Christ (just as keeping articles of deceased loved ones helps us honor and imitate them).
    III. Holy Water
Ex. 29:4; Lev. 8:6 - Aaron and his sons were washed in holy water in their consecration to the priesthood. Thus, we see the use of holy water during the beginning of salvation history.
Ex. 30:18-19 - the Lord requires Aaron and his sons to wash their hands and feet in holy water before they offered sacrifices to Him. The Church uses holy water for various purposes, and holy water fonts are generally located at the entrance of Catholic churches to be used before the sacrifice of Christ is offered to the Father.
Num. 5:17 - here again, the priest uses holy water. God uses natural matter to convey the supernatural, just as God who is Spirit became flesh in Christ Jesus.
Num. 8:7 - the Lord says to “sprinkle them with the water of remission.” The Lord uses water, a physical property, to convey His supernatural property of grace.
1 Kings 7:38-39 - in King Solomon’s temple, there were ten large basins of holy water. Holy water has always been used in the context of worship.
John 9:6-7 - Jesus uses clay and spittle to heal the blind man’s eyes, and ordered him to wash in the pool of Siloam to effect the cure. Jesus did not need to use spittle, clay and water, but He does to demonstrate that God uses the material things He created to give graces and heal us.
John 13:4-10 - the Lord uses water to wash the apostles’ feet to prepare them for their sacramental priesthood.
John 19:34 - water and blood flowed from Jesus’ pierced side on the Cross. The Church uses holy water as a symbol of our Lord’s life giving water that flowed from His sacred Heart, and as the property which brings about the power of Jesus Christ Himself, in baptism, the Eucharist, and other sacred rites of the Church.

    2. Catholics say RCC clergies must be celibate. Yet BIBLE says Peter had mother in law. Mat 8:14-15, Mar 1:30-31, Luk 4:38-39.
    3. Catholics say Mary was perpetually virgin. Yet BIBLE says Jesus had brothers and sisters. Mk 6:3, Mat 13:55, Mat 27:56, Mar 6:3, Mar 15:40, Mar 15:47.
    4. Catholics say confess to priests. Yet BIBLE says confess to GOD directly. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6, Romans 10:9-10.
    5. Catholics say drink of the literal blood of Jesus. Yet BIBLE says do not drink blood. Acts 15, Lev 7:26.
    6. Catholics say pray to Mary and "saints". Yet BIBLE says do not contact the dead. Deut 18:11, Isaiah 8:19.
    7. Catholics say their statues are not idols. Yet BIBLE says do not bow down to graven images (statues). Deut 4, Exo 20:4-5.
    8. Catholics say Holy Water. Yet BIBLE mentions nothing about it.
    9. Catholics say Peter was pope. Yet BIBLE says Peter was just a leader of the Jerusalem Church. Gal 2:9, Mat 16:18
    10. Catholics say there is a seat of Peter. Yet BIBLE says nothing about it.
    11. Catholics say there is a NT clergy priesthood. Yet NT says OT priesthood was done away with. There is no clergy priesthood in NT. Heb 7:27, 9:12, 10:10.
    12. Catholics say work for salvation (faith + good works + 7 sacraments + obedience = salvation). Yet Bible says believe in Jesus to be saved. Acts 16:30-31, John 3:16.
    13. Catholics says they must do penance to atone for their sins. Yet Bible says repent, confess and sins will be forgiven. 1 John 1:9, Mat 6.
    14. Catholics say Mary went straight to heaven without dying. Yet Bible says nothing about it.
    15. RCC says Islam and Christianity have the same GOD. Yet Islam doesn't believe in death and resurrection of Jesus and Trinity.
Roman Catholicism is full of contradiction and anti Scriptures. Nothing is more evil than a c--- disguising as Christianity deceiving many.

Your lies and misrepresentation of the Catholic Church is quite shocking.
The offering brought to the temple by Mary and Joseph in Luke 2:22-23 is part of the rite of purification according to the law of Moses. But it doesn't PROVE that Mary was a sinner because the offering was NOT meant for the purification of a sin she committed, but for purification from the "ceremonial uncleanliness" of child birth (Leviticus 12:1-2). This ceremonial uncleanliness is NOT the same thing as sin. If getting pregnant and giving birth to children is a SIN in itself, are you saying that God was giving Adam and Eve the PERMISSION TO SIN when He commanded them to "be fruitful and multiply and fill the whole earth" (Genesis 1:28) ??
Also, Romans 3:10 says: "No one is righteous". Here , Paul is quoting from Psalm 14. But notice that Psalm 14 begins by mentioning those who are "fools", that is, those who say to themselves "there is no God", and Psalm 14:1 goes on to tell us that it is among such FOOLISH people that God couldn't find even a single righteous person. So essentially, Psalm 14 is not saying that ABSOLUTELY EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING on earth is unrighteous or sinful. After all, in verse 5 of Psalm 14, it says that God's presence is with the RIGHTEOUS -- which means that there are actually people on earth that can be called righteous. So when the church says that Mary was preserved free from every sin by God in order to make her worthy to conceive Jesus Christ, it is NOT a contradiction to Rom 3:10, because Romans 3:10 was not meant as an ABSOLUTE statement. For instance, James 5:16 says that the prayer of a RIGHTEOUS man is very effective. If Romans 3:10 means that there is ABSOLUTELY not a SINGLE righteous person in the whole world, how is it possible that there are righteous people on earth who offer effective prayers to God ??
The fact that Peter was married doesn't make the practice of priestly celibacy in the church wrong. It is true that Peter (and most likely some other Apostles) were married. But remember that Peter was married BEFORE Jesus called him to be an Apostle. There is NO evidence that Jesus instructed or commanded all His Apostles to go and get married AFTER He had called them to follow Him. If marriage was a NECESSITY for an Apostle, Jesus would have instructed each and every one of His Apostles to go and get married. But He didn't. I am not saying that marriage is not a good thing. The Catholic Church never said so (After all, Catholics do get married ! ). But the fact is that celibacy or not getting married is a way of enhancing a person's ability to give his FULL attention to the ministry of service in the church. St Paul himself said so in 1 Corinthians 7 (which is why he remained celibate like Jesus Christ).
I could go on and on refuting your false allegations. But time wouldn't permit.

It wasn't till i started to debate Muslims, is when i saw they always criticize Christianity, but they never use there own logic towards their own beliefs & dogmas. I always would tell them u can not believe the 1st thing u hear from ur Muslim scholars & sheikhs, jus bc they might have PHD's doesn't mean they kno everything, cuz people like Neil deGrasse Tyson, Stephen Hawkings etc etc r some of the smartest men in r era but they dont believe in God.
So i would tell Muslims u must always research for the truth, then i would hear pastors telling us info about the catholic church, & we protestants would jus take their word for it, cuz we believe there're called by God. But the Bible tells us we must test every spirit, thats when i realized i wasn't taking my own advice, & thats when i started to think logical & take my own advice, & took a deep dive into church history, & I saw the catholic church is the church Jesus Christ started, the oldest empire in the world thats still alive 2day, only God can do that 💯
