really amazing. I'm at cisco live 2020 right now and couple 9f my devnet sessions were about netconf yang, and this video saved me time reading "yang network programmability" book. so thank you!
This was great and serves well to people who are brand new to this. I am fortunate to have done this stuff at Facebook so that gives me a little bit of a head start.
Thanks very much to both David and Hank for these great educational videos and great starting point. Like David said it best, it took 3 tries to my pass CCIE over 15 years and the amount of time and money I put in and did not have the luxury we have today, so how I should look at this new approach to network administration.

Again, I would like to thank both of you for sharing this information with us. This is again a masterstroke. I would like to see many more useful labs about NBI with ODL and HP VAN controller as this is all about SBI.
Awesome.. Thank you David and Hank for the detailed discussion. Having the same question about the XML template creation for the loopback addition and deletion also how we sent the hello response over ssh. would be very useful to know this.. Expecting RESTConf relevant video as well.
Thank you David and Hank! Can we have more examples of netconf/yang on Cisco NXOS devices? I wanted to understand, how you created the XML snippets to add / delete loopback1024 etc? I think that seems to be my main stumbling block after watching the video.
Great video content indeed !! My only question is where you'll find the Yang-templates filters (e.g.= delete_Loopback) already made to be used with Python-3 editor?
I wish I had seen all the videos in this series before getting my Cisco NPDESI certification, it would have cut down on the learning curve tremendously.
right ending. But the value of ssh-ing all the 1000 device to configure what you have to, is still much higher respect to using this unfriendly, awful syntax to do the same stuff. Excluded the case of routers that only support GUI ... how many are there ?
to be honest I got into networking because I hated programming so so much...and as we know sh*t always finds itself to the good things in life(for some at least). Now without any programming language background this is so painful to watch and comprehend
Mr.David. All of your chat is remarkable.

That's fantastic! Enjoy Cisco Live Mark!
Really useful introductory demo! Thanks to Hank for sharing his knowledge and to David for organising this demo!

Great Demo. Thanks David & Hank 👍
Great explanation with true examples and how to proceed with further training. Many thanks.
OMG this video cleared up a lot of things for me. I have a small home lab and been wanting to start learning. Now I know where to start. Thanks David.
Thanks again Hank and David and theDevNetTeams MyStoryIsNowFlowing
really enjoying these demo's about NETCONF :D
Thank you very much. Looks like this is yet another journey I need to start on.
Really appreciate the efforts that you are putting here ... Tons of thanks
Really Great, David! I appreciate the actual hands-on demonstration of these, at times, overwhelming concepts and systems!! I love your videos!!!
Thank you for such a great useful video lesson. Very interesting and effective.

Excellent videos!, great coverage on the next way to do things.
Great material, thank you David
This is just beautiful. Gonna try to do it with node cx
Many Thanks for this Tehnical Discussion
Great. Clear explanation and labs. Have to start investing my time on these.
Thanks a lot, folks.

What is the underlying transport protocol used for encrypting session, TLS or SSH?
God bless you both
Is 10000 the sandbox port of RESTconf too?
Well, time to start diving into python and XML. There's no escaping it now. #NewCCNP
i wonder if i can use this in a regular IOS devices?
thank you
How do i create loopback in nexus switch using netconf?. I need XML
