This just saved me from being without water for another weekend! Thank you so much! 🙌🏾💧
I'm glad you could find what you were looking for.
It took three videos to find out how to take the head off. You did it in 34 seconds. Thank you.
The answer which I've been searching for. I truly appreciate your invaluable guidance on this subject.
I appreciate the honesty. Doing things for the camera is always harder.
Thanks for the video! You just saved me from putting it in a vice and getting a pipe wrench out, therefore ruining it and sending me back to the store.
I have a Westward 8 piece kit, but lost the locking flathead. How would I go about getting a new one?
Thanks
I doubt I'd ever have figured simply pulling it down would work. I feel like a huge dork. Thanks!
I've been in that place more times than I can count. No judgement here.
Thank you!
I'm glad it helped.
The set screw is for the bit, not necessary for hole saw removal
I feel like such an idiot. I never considered pulling it down first. THANKS
Well after soaking the 1” hole saw with PB-Blaster for 4 hrs. I used the impact gun and put the head or blade of the hole saw in a vice, beat the saw blade to death with a hammer. Finally came off. Thanks
How about the Lenox hole saws you get at Lowe's?
Thanks great video.
Thank you
Thanks. I never remember this. Sometimes I figure it out, sometimes it’s to the video.
Thank you so very very much!
Glad it helped!
Does it have a dedicated drill bit because mine is too long ?
I have a 1" hole saw, there is nothing holding the arbor to the blade, the screw only holds the drill in place. I’ve tried everything to get this apart, soaked in WD-40, used a vice and very large channel locks, I’ve hit the arbor and the saw itself with a hammer, etc. trying to loosen, with no luck. I noticed this post and tried the impact driver 3 times, still no luck. I’m now trying soaking in PB Blaster. I’m going to let this set for 4 hours then again try the impact again. All information and suggestions appreciated
Changing hole saw
I didn't want to break it & it is stuck, but I wasn't sure. Thanks!
Thank you!
I am having to soak mine in WD40 and channel locks, maybe use impact drill and see if it comes out
Wow! Thank you! I've never used one and about to throw a fit. Now I feel kinda dumb!
These don't work at all like my hole saw. The shaft on my hole saw simply screws into the saw tube. After drilling a hole for a lock, the shaft is now stuck on the tube.
use a impact to loosen, put a hex on the chuck at the top and hold the hole saw away from the sharp teeth. Now run in reverse.
Now do a Milwaukee
Thanks.
Didn’t work on my ryobi as it has t the slider. Hammer didn’t work and drill either.
would help if your light was on what your doing not in the dark . i have different model so this video dident help me thanks
Mine will not untien n screw is all the way out do I need to spray it with wd 40
They can be hard to unscrew. WD 40 or, better yet, a penetrating oil can help for sure. Good luck.
What if it won’t unscrew
I saw that your videos but my drill bit for broken at the bottom hand but I can't remove it. help with me
only useful vid I found so far
THANK YOU! The people who made the owner's manual for this thing should be in prison 😊
Use better light, because it difficult to see .
You are right, this video is quite old and I have definitely improved my lighting and camera since filming this video.
ONE TIP---HOLD THE SCREWDRIVER BY THE HANDLE.
LOL always work in the dark?
Your Your video lighting it’s too dark!
You need better lighting. The shadowed areas are too dark.
Thank you
