Ah…. Air NZ! the airline that requires YOU to be at the airport on time then puts you onto a hot ( black) aeroplane and THEN discovers they don’t have the prescribed number of cabin crew to meet air safety requirements so makes you sit in their hot ( black) aeroplane for 45 minutes while we all wait for an additional hostess to drive through Auckland traffic. Apparently leaving the passengers in a cool airport lounge isn’t an option when you’re trying to fudge the “on time” departure statistics….. this insulting anti-customer attitude happened to me twice within a couple of months….. it’s why I will never consider them again for my trans Tasman travel.
