I always rub my sanding board with a crape block after every use. I find that this greatly extends the life. I have one sanding board with 80 grit on one side and 120 grit on the other side. I find that this is all I need.
Thanks for the tip on cleaning up the face shields. I’ll definitely be trying that out on a couple that I’ve had laying around just waiting for a trick like this.
