For anyone who doesn’t want to sign up to the masterclass and would prefer to have it in the written form - most of these topics and points are also covered in her book ‘The Art of Home’
I went through this McGee class right before I redid my living room. Some ideas/suggestions are just more “design” and not for real living. So you have to have a firm foundation to not fall into these “for design show off” only. It’s just not practical. “Eat the meat and spit out the bones” one of my professors always reminded us of.
I just discovered your channel today and I really love your videos! I'm moving into a new flat in Munich end of this month and you're helping me a lot with my interior design decisions
I had a Masterclass subscription and I was largely underwhelmed. Many of the lessons are only a few minutes long. And it seems like the instructors are often gearing their content toward beginners. That means their advice is pretty basic. I could often find better and more in depth advice by just watching youtube videos. I mean I get it. Masterclass isn't creating courses for advanced interior designers (or CIA agents, or professional chefs, etc) necessarily. But that also means you're not really getting the benefit of having a "master" teach you since they're often sticking to basics.

Thank you! You are correct. It sounds like this is not masterclass but basic!

This video sounds like a great introduction to Studio McGee's design principles.
This is so informative! I need to take notes! 📝
I love your video and will subscribe but please lower the background music in the future. It’s a bit distracting. I love your content though!
Thank you for the feedback! It’s much appreciated 😊
Very well done!
Great video guide ❤
Hello, I have just started to follow your channel, but the music is so loud and intrusive
Thanks for the feedback!! I’ll adjust the music levels for future videos 😊
@@baixu thanks
That's so coool!
BASIC information really
Nothing master about it
It seems to be a bit basic and uninspiring. I will keep checking out more of your design tips, which are much more helpful and meaningful 🙏
Studio McGee has turned into a cash grabbing company. This info is super basic.
