Its very rare that a lead singer can leave a group and the group still be great. I love the Diana Ross years as well. When music was changing and the group changed in 70, the transformation just worked! I wish that a Supremes movie or series was put together before they passed.

Mary's voice always sounds good on they're tracks. It would have been nice if Motown utilized her vocals more in the songs. It has always annoyed me when groups don't use the other members talents optimally. The Pointer Sisters did a very good job of that and even The Spice Girls of all groups.

Poor Mary Wilson, she's still trying to get her solo career off the ground 50 yrs 1970-2020 after Miss Ross left the group and have a top 10 solo hit record without having to depend on Diana Ross.

They sounded good, it was cheerful song, Mary was one of the leads, it wasn't something that was permitted often but after Diana left she began to have some freedoms, that did not last too long.
