@@IamRocque there was frankly nothing "unique" about Diana's voice. That was simply an internal decision to make her the focal point, rather than showcasing the talents of all three. Diana was probably the LEAST unique vocally, but she had the most "pop" voice.

@@careyconley4690 Diana Ross and Jean Terrell had two of the most UNIQUE voices in pop music history. Florence had a great voice, but more commonplace, not a unique voice. If Florence was the lead, the Supremes would have sounded a lot like most other female groups at the time.

Mary's voice always sounds good on they're tracks. It would have been nice if Motown utilized her vocals more in the songs. It has always annoyed me when groups don't use the other members talents optimally. The Pointer Sisters did a very good job of that and even The Spice Girls of all groups.

Now we know where Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. got his name from. Record made in 1972, Jr. born in 1977. Ironically the song is about her sharing him with multiple women. LLS

RIP Mary Wilson. This song is the prototypical Supremes sound, even after the departure of Diana Ross.

I never knew Marry could sing, why were they letting Ross lead all the songs when she could sing too, she was pretty and fabulous. They were handling that song they had the best of times, it is sad when people get older and they leave this world too soon.
