Finally a gunner class to truly bring out the awesome power of Valdof.......with Valdof you don't need more guns.....you just need more bullets! I love it.....I think I found my main.....it was close with Zane looking like the front runner but fire wielding fast firing weapons have pulled Moze ahead.
The thing is judging from her skill that grants ammo regen on crit and increases crit damage, Mose seems like she'd go well with a sniper rifle.
Man, if only there was a manufacturer that made high ROF sniper rifles?
...I think it's spelled V.L.A.D.O.F not V.A.L.D.O.F....just saying. But yeah, Moze is looking awesome ^_^ I can't wait to get my hands on her.

I plan on going with a tediore focused build when I first play Moze. She increases explosion damage as well as regenerates ammo so she's perfect for that

Pro tip: enter and exit the bear after killing a few dudes, you get half the cooldown back and after blowing some fools you have it right back. Get angel's shield and its basically mechs forever with moze.
Security bear is dumb.
Iron bear will run out of duration before it dies. Every time.
But short fuse may be the new bore. Because it works with torque weapons and rocket launchers.
How did you get the impression that it's bore

Moze is gonna be my main period.
I hope that there is a class mod for Moze that makes her into a melee build as I fucking love that melee animation with the knife.
Guns that shoot things that explode still count as guns in borderlands. So do rocket launchers. Imagine short fuse torque weapons fired at a group of enemies in a singularity. Or enemies with two parts like mounted turrets or binary? That’s some crazy damage!
And don't forget, explosives deal extra damage to frozen targets. So I'm going to build Moze with the gatling gun on one arm freezing everything and the launcher / nuke on the other to capitalize on that boosted damage to frozen targets.
Seems like Bottomless mags, and Demolition woman combo plus cryo equals just constant damage plus multiple elementals.
I've watched this video like 3 times and I definitely think I'm gonna go down the demolition tree with rockets/minigun attached and cross over into the bottomless mags tree. I'm all about blowing stuff up, especially with incendiary grenade mods and the bonus fire damage she does
Moze is the character that caught my eye, and I think I'm loving her skill trees. I'll definitely pick her up!
Moze and Zane both seem to have very diverse build options with varying play styles that all look interesting and fun to play.
As a long time siren fan I am sad to say the same cant be said for Amara. Her trees are undoubtedly cool but seem a bit lacking in comparison especially in terms of augmenting. Only 1 augmentation and 1 element with only 2 elements to choose from. Even at that the 2 elemental choices given, fire and corrosive, aren't the 2 I would like to have seen. Would love to have seen Cryo and Radiation. A nice ground slam that freezes enemies, or phase grasp that radiates enemies would be epic. Even shock would be nice as it would synergize with some other skills of hers. Overall, I'm sad to say her trees dont look quite as exciting as the other 2 we have seen so far. But, I'll likely still choose her for my first playthrough.

I've been holding off on B-3 stuff but I finally broke. She EASILY looks like the most powerful character in the game. I want to play Zane because I dig his style and look but man, her skill tree is just stupid powerful.

Question about matching set
Do the 4 side equipment grenade mods shields relics and class mods effect it? Does the bonus only apply to the guns of said manufacturer? Can I have 3 vladof guns and get a malwan gun with a huge mag? Does the bonus apply only from the manufacturer you have the most gear of or does it apply from any any gear set you have 2 or more of?
With the right answers to these questions it may be incredibly trivial to get 80% mag size bonus.
The way it reads “currently equipped” seems to me like each weapon gets its bonus based off of how many matching peaces you have.
Best you can do with that i believe is 60 or 70%
with full malwain tediore or atlas depending on if they make class mods and relics.
I want to see FL4K before i decide my first but Moze will either be first or 2nd i level
First time i'm so unsure about which skill tree i want to follow the most... I want minigun, and homing missiles... but i want to Hammer people with my Bear hands too ! Moze looks so cool :D
Question: Does anyone know if we will have to have the rail gun action skill in use to get any of the benefits (other than the action skill augments) of that skill tree? For instance, I would like to have 2 grenade launcher action skills but still use the benefits of the shield of retribution skill tree.
You will get all the benefits of all skills you take. The only skills that you won't benefit from will be the augments as those are power-ups to specific guns. So, if for example you go down the Demolition Woman tree but don't use the Grenade launcher, then you lose out on the Augments of the Demolition Woman tree as those are for her Grenade Launcher only. But all other skills give you the full effect.
I think the best part of this video is the Banjo Kazooie music in the background... that being said I changed from starting with fl4k to probably starting moze.
Moze with a Demolition Woman-build and a Spitter-like weapon will wreck shit with Short Fuse as Torgue Weapons all deal initial weapon damage as well as splash damage. And in general, Short Fuse will be really powerful with Spiniguns as their high fire rate (10+ shots per second!) will lead to more than enough opportunities to get off Short Fuse as well as all other related skills.
In addition to that Short Fuse also greatly improves the tree overall as it gives all weapons a 20% chance per shot to synergize with the build, even if the weapon itself is not explosive. It creates synergy where there otherwise would be none.
Edit: I hope they rebalance Forge until launch. The amount of ammo regenerated is negligible at best. My guess is that they balanced it around COV guns which even at 1,5% ammo Regen are really good and probably a better allegiance run than Vladov. For Forge I would rather increase the general ammo regen to 5%, but let COV weapons and Rocket Launchers have a lower regen rate of 2%.

Are we going to be limited to building with one tree at a given time in this game? Or will we still be able to mix and match skills from all of the trees to make our own builds? Looks to me like we have to use skills from one tree at at time? Anyone know for sure?
I'm a massive fan of mechs. Once this releases in 2020, I look forward to playing Moze exclusively.
Corrosive Sabot+Minigun, probably going to cherry pick the early skills from both trees and get a defensive long lasting mech.
I'm going blue and red mostly anarchy/grenade/cov gear. Only going deep enough to to pick up redistribution matching set and less ammo consumption top left. With higher ammo pool cov weapons will be perfect with redistribution
Will moze passively be immune to explosive damage out of Iron Bear or will we need an immunity shield

I just realised if you combine moze fire dmg skill after reload with a elemental amara build amara can do three types of elemental dmg with one weapon. Make it shock and corrosive on amaras weapon/skill and she then spreads shock corrosive and fire to all enemies around just cause she can. Damn this is crazy.
Are the passive skills always active or do they depend on the weapons you choose for the Iron Bear

If I do play her, I would definitely do the cryo mini gun and corrosive rail gun build to make sure I can’t really die, tank most of the damage, and deal even more damage back at the enemy

I find bottomless mags tree mostly ignore able especially if you play her as a cov weapon, matching set and redistribution. Cov weapons have unlimited mags but over heat so reducing heat build up by 40%+ and redistribution would make it so you restore 5% of your max ammo capacity 5% of 1000 is 50 bullets per critical

Its cool, each tree has a sort of mini* capstone midway so you could opt for a balanced character with 16 points in each tree while also unlocking the majority of augments thus adding more versatility via specific elemental configs. So now the question is do you want 3 mini-caps or one final tier cap or something inbetween?

Im probably going to play bottomless Mags, buffing her mag size as much as possible and pair it with some of the tediore gadget weapon that summons turrets or dones that deals more damage the more ammo she has left in the mag, and then combining that with dualwield miniguns with a minigun on my back for my mate i play to play with, otherwise i might go a demolitionist bear focused build

I want to know what the end game enemy weakness will be. In bl 1 it was shock, bl2 it was corrode. I'm playing gaige right now and she has the electrical tree, but it seems underperformed even when filled. It seems stupid that there is a full tree that doesn't work well. In pre-sequal arelias cold tree was devastating in game.
Seems like she would want something like an explosive shredifier...

whenever im gonna get the chance to play bl3, three things i want to do with Moze... (gonna have to use a new-u station to play these builds)
1) Bomber build like Kira from Jojo part 4 (demolition woman focus)
2) fallout 4 build (minigun/explosive minigun with nuke)
3) sektor builf from mortal kombat (homing rockets and salamander's flamethrower)
for the shield health skill, they changed it to her health is reserved and cannot be recovered, meaning that say she 60% is reserved, you would still be taking 5% of the entire 100%
Does Anyone know if the Redistribution skill Restores 5% ammo over the duration of 3 sec, or 5% per sec for 3 sec ?

What's the best tree to fill up with her?
Fl4k or Moze is a hard decision. They both look like they would be the most fun to play for me. The idea of mowing people down with a mech dual weilding miniguns is very tempting. Thinking Demolition Woman and Bottomless Mags are the trees I would mainly go down then get that bubble shield for the mech in the third skill tree.
We can use skills from all trees simultaneously, right? I definitely want to go heavy into bottomless mags, with some demolition woman, with a splash of the survivability tree.
Yep you can! That's probably a good idea honestly. Splashing will be strong.
@@Dantics I thought so, been a long time since I played Borderlands. I couldn't remember. Bottomless mags seems good for the neutral game, if you will, and seems to have the most moment to moment benefit. For me itll comprise the most of my build and I definitely want the capstone skill. Demolition woman seems to be more about iron bear and I'll invest in it some but, since it has the longest cool down, and last 24 seconds by default, seems like bottomless msg has the most overall usability along with shield skill tree. I can't wait to play her.

Can I just say I don't like exploding bullets augment you can out damage and dps it with demo woman cap, buried in brass, phalanx and let off some steam augment.
Funnily enough, but Exploding Bullets even decreases the dps of the minigun itself. It cuts down the fire rate to a quarter, but only doubles it's damage per shot. Unless you also use the Cryo augment on the other minigun to freeze your enemies, there is barely any point in taking Exploding Bullets.
Still, I'm sure more than enough people will take that exact build as freezing and smashing frozen enemies is fun.
@@narfd.8837 I'm going to be freezing enemies but purely for critical/melee bonuses which is how I intend to play moze.
Cryo rounds mini guns
Acid cloud, match set, r redistribute.
Mostly the left side of the demo woman tree: Grizzled, TCP, PHP, Vampyr, the option to throw grenade while downed.
And drown in brass and tip right skill.
As lv cap raises I'll spec deeper into the red tree picking up phalanx, experiment ammunition, TRL, Vladof ingenuity, desperate measures, etc
Cryo minigun for less fuel drain, and specced into demolitian woman to get cooldown faster.
dual explosive gatling or dual 'nade launcher hmmm so many options
I'm more of a Zane boy, he'll likely be my main. But Mose looks cute, and if I were to build her for solo play, as Marcus says, "Guns, Guns, Guns!" However, for a group, I'll likely go Shield of Retribution, as it has quite a few group buff skills. I just how we can swap out her head, I can't stand the army helmet.
