I love, love, love your disappearing blocks and this is another great example how different the single block can be used. With the many layouts there must be a matchig pattern for everybody. Thank you so much for the feedback, I can't improve with it. I am trying to work out the best length and speed. My best video, so far, only had 48% of the people stay to the end, and I've had some as low as 35% sticking to the very end. I have an idea for a (slightly) more complicated quilt that would require making 2 different disappearing blocks. That would be probably half again longer. Is that something you would be interested in?

I think you are talking about the Top of The Stairs Disappearing Pinwheel Quilt. ( ua-cam.com/video/MLHNvfbHW5U/v-deo.html ) I tried making the individual blocks 3 colors and it didn't look as good. But someone suggested making the each Motif (either 2, 3 or 4 squares making a "tile") a single color, which works. The best multicolor layout I have come up with is making each "round" on the quilt a different color. Especially if you make the higher "round" (nearer the center, or the top depending on how you look at it) a lighter shade. For example if you made the center motif with light blue, then the next round a medium blue, then the outer round a dark blue, this looks really good. Does this make sense? Thanks for watching and the positive feedback.
Brita, Thank you for showing all the variations that can be used from just one block. It saves me from having to make one and then discover I don't like it for whatever reason. LOL, you are so right. I show how to sew the Half Square Triangle Blocks in my first video (and that part is speeded up). That is all, you don't need to see it again and again. Especially if you make the higher "round" (nearer the center, or the top depending on how you look at it) a lighter shade. For example if you made the center motif with light blue, then the next round a medium blue, then the outer round a dark blue, this looks really good. Does this make sense?

I have just qualified to apply for monetization. I think that if I am approved, I can turn off the ads. I love the alternate arrangements! In at least two of your videos so far, I found an alternate arrangement more to my liking. Seeing different motifs can get any quilter’s juices flowing; inspiration comes from all around us. Viewing other arrangements definitely inspires me.

LOL, you are so right. I show how to sew the Half Square Triangle Blocks in my first video (and that part is speeded up). That is all, you don't need to see it again and again. Especially if it is just sewing a straight line. None of us would be here if we couldn't sew a straight line.
